The hotel is very centrally placed by St Mark Square, a couple of minutes walk from the boat stop at the square, no bridges to cross which was handy as we had a lot of luggage. Very close to the boat stop which we needed to travel to the other islands, to museums, shopping areas and good restaurants. Very nice staff, very nice, charming, comfortable and clean room. There is a little card you can leave on your bed in the morning if you do NOT want your bed linen changed every day otherwise it is changed each and every day. Breakfast was good and they offer complimentary afternoon tea which was great. We stayed ten nights, have nothing to complain of and will return if we're ever back in Venice.

A little noise (not enough to complain about) from water pressure tanks above the room, and the cold water tap in the basin only ran hot. But staff always ready to assist as best as possible and responded promptly.

Location is the best! They have free of charge tea time from 16-18 ; coffee, tea , snacks! Clean room ! Elevator working ! Breakfast is very good ! Buffet

A bit old but it’s doesn’t matter, as you don’t stay all day in hotel room in Venice !

We stayed in one of the apartments which is just around the corner from the main hotel. Perfect location right by St. Mark's Square. The apartment was clean, well equipped and felt safe. We booked a shared water taxi via the hotel in advance to get from and to the airport. This all ran very smoothly and was a great way to arrive and leave Venice. Reception was open 24hrs and every member of staff we met were very friendly and helpful. We booked the half-day sightseeing tour to Murano, Burano and Torcello at the hotel reception. This was our favourite part of the trip and only cost €25. Highly recommend.

Beautiful hotel, very friendly staff. Decor was as expected for Venice, lovely. Breakfast was exceptional, added bonus of tea/coffee and cake in the afternoon great location and easy to find could not have asked for more

We were in the annex which we knew before booking. Despite the stairs to the room (which you got used to and was good exercise) the room was fantastic. Very spacious, spotlessly clean, nice fresh furnishing, spacious clean bathroom with whirlpool bath which was a bonus. Air conditioning was spot on and quiet. Had its own fridge and safe. The room being an annex made it feel like your own apartment in the middle of Venice. Would definitely book this again.

The stairs were a shock but honestly got used to them after a couple of up and downs. There was no lift so if you have trouble with stairs or have a disability this room isn’t for you.

Fabulous location, the staff were so attentive, helpful and sincerely nice. The breakfast bar was great, it offered a great choice of food. The hotel offers free tea/coffee and sweets between the hours of 4-6pm which is such a nice touch. We couldn’t carry our luggage and they were able to find a porter for us. The air conditioner works very well, and water pressure is fabulous.

The room is one of the smallest I’ve stayed in, but we did opt for the budget room. 11sq metres. The place is old, worn out and needs an upgrade or at least some love. The bathroom is tiny and impossible to have 2 in there at the same time.

This hotel is perfectly located near the Saint Marks Square. The hotel staff were super helpful getting our luggage to and from the water taxi. We also arranged all of our transportation through the hotel, getting about Venice was hassle free. Everyone was kind and professional. The real appeal was the true-to-Venetian style decor. We also appreciated the variety at the breakfast buffet and the later hours. It is a treat to be able to slowly enjoy breakfast until 10am. The hotel was just a little more expensive than others we considered outside the area. It was definitely worth the price for the centrally-located, authentic experience. It was also a nice change to stay in a hotel that offered staff assistance at such an ideal level. The front desk staff was well staffed and there were usually several porters to assist, as needed. The same was true for breakfast staff and housekeeping staff. Kudos to the owners for prioritizing guest comfort and services. It felt like a 4+ star hotel to us; it certainly exceeded the typical American 4-star experience.

One of the most affordable, yet best hotels I've ever stayed in! Perfect for small parties of tourists who want a cosy retreat and comfortable rest after enjoying the city's offerings. Rooms: Accommodated a request for an easily accessible twin room with no issues, placing us right next to the elevator/lift and providing a small stool in the bathroom. Complimentary water bottles and a hot drink station were appreciated, as were all of the amenities from toiletries to a mini sewing kit. The decor was very fun, and everything was spotless - cleaning is offered every day, with options clean a little but to leave certain areas alone (bed sheets, towels, etc.) for guests and the environments benefit! Bed is very comfy, with 2 pillows per bed that were just neither hard nor too soft. Bathroom was spacious, shower was hot and had great pressure. Service: Staff were wonderful and available 24/7, with flawless language skills. Currency can be exchanged at the desk and bags can be left to explore more before leaving Venice for good. Breakfast (7-10am) is lovely - eggs, toast and some meat, croissants and cakes, yoghurt and fruit with both hot and cold drinks. Complimentary tea and coffee, with a selection of biscuits and cake, is offered 4pm-6pm. It was a much appreciated break between morning and evening exploring of the city! Location: Located 2 minutes away from St Mark's Basilica and Doge's Palace, or 7 minutes from Rialto Bridge, with lots of trinket shops and restaurants surrounding. For such a central area, our room was very quiet and we weren't disturbed.

Zero downside! Overall, there are only two concerns you should have when booking here: - The rooms are a little small, but for two adults we had more than enough space - consider your parties' size! - There isn't much to do in the hotel besides relaxing in your room. The TV works and a helpful guide lists channels in different languages, but if you'd like entertainment beyond this you need to look outside (which is no issue, as there's tons there!).
