The hotel is old but in good condition, in fact there was a problem with the pipe of the sink and they repaired it inmediately. We had noisy neighbours, in the late nigth I had to ask in the reception if they could do something about it, and they manage to solve the inconvenience. We were allowed to keep some medicament in their fridge. The staff was really friendly and very efficient. Thank you.

We stayed 3 days and no body cleaned neither the room nor the bathroom, they just collected the garbage. Anyway we kept the room tidy, but it would have been nice that at least they clean the bathroom.

The staff was really nice and accommodating. Extremely friendly. Especially a Receptionist who had recently shifted from UK from Bengali decent, after our checkout we had to wait a couple of hours in the lobby and he made our short stay in the lobby extremely comfortable. He infact even managed to arrange a clean corner for me and wife to offer our Friday prayers. It was just 10 mins. But I was extremely impressed with his kind and Hospitable gesture.

There were a few minor ignorable issues and few other issues like with the hot water was immediately resolved. So basically nothing in Specific.

My flight was canceled so I had to find something in urgency . The price was decent and the hotel was very central . The stuff was very accommodating and friendly. I did not try the breakfast as I had to leave very early in the morning. The room was clean and had all the basic things needed. This is why I am overall putting positive remarks.

It is not a new or revamped hotel. I think they are working on some rooms but the one I stayed was all the way at the back. It gave an 80s vibe and it is dated. The bathroom was very small the shower was one one with the toilet. Some noises from a shared bathroom were heard (doors opening and closing). When I got there, they had issues with the air-con in the reception/ dining area. But really, given it was clean and very decent, in the bigger scheme of things it was ok.

Location is EXCEPTIONAL, as are the staff. It's a 2 star budget hotel which is reflected in the price, but is as good as many 3-star hotels we have stayed in. Euro 5 for a Continental breakfast is very cheap considering that a single Cappuccino costs Euro 4 across the square. have stayed at the Canada in the past and will certainly stay there again. Talita (?) on reception and the lady at breakfast were fantastic. As someone who ran pubs & restaurants for more than 20 years, we'd have been honoured to have such dedicated staff.

Excellent location 2 minutes from Rialto bridge and 10 minutes from San Marco, in a cute plaza. Very authentic experience! Nice and friendly staff, comfortable room with all the amenities, great value for money for those who don't want to break the bank staying in Venice. And the breakfast for 5 euros can't be beat. Highly recommend this small hotel :-)

Nothing really, but I'm not so high maintenance either. Just no elevator so count on walking two flights up. I don't mind really but if you do or have lots of heavy luggage...

You can’t beat the price for what you get in the heart of Venice. And that sounds like it’s some cheap steal. But, no. I would be happy to stay at Hotel Canada anywhere. Moon, my hometown, Japan. It’s just purely all you will need or can ask for if you aren’t looking for the highest of high end luxuries. Great staff, great price, great location, great everything

The location is unbeatable! 5 min walk from Rialto bridge and boat stop, 3 min walk to the supermarket, 10 min way to Plaza San Marcos, 2 min to the best gelato in town, surrounded by restaurants and cafes, plenty of them with daily menus for 16€. The staff is incredibly friendly, helpful and accommodating (Tudor and Dasham), you can leave your luggage and use their bathroom after check out at no cost. It’s a basic hotel with an amazing price, location and service. The air conditioner worked perfectly, and everything you need is provided.

Talita was amazing. We really appreciate her support. She is very nice, we had a problem with the air coinditioner that wasn't working, she promptly solve it, the room is small but it has everything. We stayed at a room with a private bathroom outside and it was clean, and the shower was good, and the bathroom had a good size.

The bathroom was 3 doors after the room, not right next to the room. But this is just info. I mean this wasn't a problem for us. I would for sure stay there again.

Really amazing hotel, I was so lucky to have roof room. It has private balcony. The view was breathtaking, you can see entire Venice roofs😁. Room, linen & towels was clean. I felt like living in a house from fairy tales. Btw, location is also perfect.

They give small blankets which was really inconvenient to use, as my trip was end of April, it was really cold in the evening. Also note that they don’t have elevators😀

The location is amazing. The room was spotlessly clean. I find the negative reviews amusing. Yes, some of the hotel is a little dated and there are two flights of stairs to the reception. If the hotel was renovated it would cost 4X what it costs now. I was very happy to stay in a slightly dated room, 5 mins walk from everything for the price I paid.

The hairdryer in room 2 didn't work. The bed was a little uncomfortable and the walls were thin. Didn't stop me having a good night sleep after a busy day.
