Very clean rooms and hotel. Like all comments the location is ideal. 10 min walk from Ferry from the airport. 5/6 min walk to Ferry to visit Murano/Burano. 5 min walk to San Marco square. Lovely restaurants and shops within 2/3 mins. Would highly recommend. We also arrived at 11am and they very kindly let us check in, which was an added bonus.

Nothing but just to note for older people there are stairs to the 2/3rd floor which are steep , to be aware If any mobility issues as there is no elevator.

Hotel was located in a very convenient location. The breakfast included was delicious and they had a wide variety of options. Other things to note: 1. Ca’ Marinella’s rooms are located in a different building. You’ll still need to check in and check out at the desk of Santa Marina Hotel (which is close-by). This was quite confusing at the start. 2. If you have issues climbing narrow stairs, it’ll be best to request for a hotel room on the ground/lower floors. The building’s stairs were quite steep and you’ll have to bring your luggages up/down. 3. We also noticed the building’s corridor and our hotel room were always set on a very warm temperature, which we could not adjust in our rooms. The AC wasn’t working too so we would have to have our bedroom windows slightly opened when sleeping (and you can hear the foot traffic below).

This hotel was the most reasonable price, the standards of accommodation were brilliant - clean, modernised, but in keeping with an older property. Staff welcoming. Central to Rialto, a good walking base. Breakfast good (great pancakes)

Having been to Venice previously and not ventured into this particular neighbourhood before, I didn't expect it to be so commercial with Pandora, Starbucks etc.(this of course, is not the hotels issue) and perhaps my own fault with poor logistical research. Arrived on a Saturday, which was somewhat rowdy with what appeared to be stag do's, which was quite alarming and had me asking what had I done? However, Sunday onwards was tranquil again. Again, this is no fault of the hotel, just a poor reflection on the neighbourhood. The hotel itself was tucked away from that noise it was a generally a quiet square, with a little people noise when crossing bridges - but my first impressions of the neighbourhood were not great, if I'm honest.

Spacious: I had a double bed room in one room and an adjacent small room with single bed at The entrance. We could do exercise with smart TV in both room and entrance room. Heating: work Good Bathroom: Lovely Overall: Comfortable and clean.

View: Not great to look at dirty room top and wall of others houses. Bathroom: Shower was small for a tall person like me. However, this is a particular situation and does take away the fact that bathroom was great with big shower pump added with changing lighting colors. No lift. But this was ok for me but not my gf. However, it kept us fit... I expected a double large matrass ,not a 2xsingle matrass put together. I had to always push them to keep them together.

I stayed here on Christmas and i almost cancelled because i read the reviews after i had booked . I never been scared about a stay like i was ,However, on arrival, turned out well . Yes it's true the ca' marinella is a part of the santa marina, after checking in they help you with luggage to the annex . Just out turn left , and in like 2 minutes you are at the annex . Clean , modern,mini fridge, good heating , and all the staff were very friendly. Breakfast was ok , only because there's an option to order extra eggs and bacon or pancakes ,loved that.best part about this hotel is the location literally walking distance to Rialto bridge , san marco and the libreria acqua alta a stone throw away 😊 . I hope future travellers with awful /better experience can upload real pics ( as i did) instead of plain reviews got me soo confused .

I book my rooms for content ,that means the view is quite important and i got nothing of the view i expected of the canal like in pics. Also My room was alittle squeezy to my liking but not a big deal so long as it wasn't the room with blocked window all is well . When housekeeping cleaned i did view different room type so i bet it depends with your luck .

Ca"Marinella was the perfect location for us. It was out of the main crowded tourist center but was just a short walk away. The rooms were large and very clean and as you needed to use a key to get into the building as well as a key for the room, it felt quite safe. The breakfast was incredible. three tables of beautiful pastries, cereals, fruits and meats, and then you are offered eggs with bacon or pancakes with different topping fixed fresh as well! Great staff and great service.

There was a rain storm while we were there and my son's room leaked under the wall and soaked some of his clothes. This was brought to their attention so I am assuming that it will be addressed. Another issue was that when we checked in my granddaughter who was 12 , I was told would be no additional charge, however when I checked out I had to pay and additional fee for her. It wasn't unreasonable, however when I am told that there would NOT be a charge and then am charged later, it doesn't leave a very good impression.
