The hotel has a special charm — while the bathrooms are renovated and modern, the rooms have preserved the classic, typical Venetian décor. The room was clean and the staff very friendly. The location perfect, close to everything. Also the breakfast was good, it had a little bit of everything.

I was a little bit hard to reach the location with 2 lugagge, because of the stairs, but this is Venice, so it wasn’t really a problem. The rooms are small, but that didn’t bother us too much because we spent most of our time exploring the city. Recommendation - add some vegetables for breakfast! :)

The location was very convenient, as you are close to the center. The breakfast was also good and delicious. The rooms were clean and comfy, the Wi-Fi was also excellent and the overall stay was very pleasant.

The only thing that was not so ok were the thin walls, which allowed you to hear your neighbors (in particular, one that spoke very loud and made loud noises around midnight, but had the Do not Disturb the day before...). I know this is not the hotel's fault, as they even had a sign for this matter, but, maybe in the future they could upgrade the rooms about this issue.

From the moment we met the person minding the front desk, it confirmed we had made an excellent choice of hotel. He was polite yet friendly, and whisked us through the welcome process. The room, while on the small side, was equipped with the best and most comfortable bed of our three weeks in Italy. The hotel was very well located in a lively yet quiet at night part of Venice and was close to our vaporetto stop from the train station. The bathroom and shower were very nice as were the towels and toiletries. The supplied breakfast in a comfortable dining area each morning was also excellent, serving a variety, including scrambled eggs, granola, and the guests' choice of coffees, toast and jam, pastries, and fruit juices.

We mention the convenience of electrical charging stations as a minor issue, and given the age of the hotel's building, the hotel did its best. We are certain that the demands of our connected world are not going to lessen in the coming decades and so exploring multiple solutions available at one receptacle location may be a worthwhile investment. Otherwise, we could not have been more delighted by our stay at Al Piave!

This is a really beautiful little hotel with lovely interiors and a great atmosphere. I stayed in a single room so it was small but had everything I needed, and was comfortable. I stayed two places in Venice on this trip and this hotel had more little amenities that make for a nice stay: the kettle and tea/coffee in the room were appreciated, and the breakfast was absolutely fantastic, with gluten free options (the hotel is known for this) and hot and cold food, pastries, cakes, yogurt, fresh fruit, and more. The staff were kind, and I was able to leave my luggage after checking out on my last day.

The room was so cute and we loved our little private terrace. The staff was so friendly, and so helpful whenever we had questions or needed to find a place. The little map they gave us when we arrived really helped navigate the immediate area too. Breakfast was surprisingly good with limited but unique selections. And you should definitely try the hot chocolate which was amazing! One thing is they referred to our room as the top of the tower or top of the mountain and it definitely was. Six flights all the way up. It was a lot of work but worth the effort.

If you do get the tower room, beware the low slanted ceilings and the extra tiny step into the bathroom.

I loved the location and the comfort of the beds. I'd like to highlight the attention we received from the staff, specially the lady at the breakfast room - she was extremely nice - and the gentleman at the front desk who was there at night. The breakfast was delicious with fresh pastries. The room was always clean.

It would be nice if the hotel installed screens on the windows to prevent so many mosquitoes from coming in.

1. It's a great location for those who likes walking, which we did a lot indeed. It's close to the main sightseeing points. 2. Daily cleaning service is well-done. 3. Friendly staff at the reception. 4. Next to that as our flight was changed we had to leave earlier and would not make use of the paid breakfast. They prepared for us small snack bags to go. That was very kind!

1. Hotel is on a street with a cocktail bar where the music is very loud. It was unusual the first night, but as we walked a lot the following days we were tired and did not mind it any more as we were falling asleep quickly. 2. Pictures on the website are taken from a complimentary angle, they look bigger and more spacious.

Everything was wonderful though we arrived during the intense the heat wave...lol! We have been visiting Venice for over 40 years...definitely a favourite of ours! We plan to return in a couple of years and will definitely stay at your hotel...we were very pleased with the wonderful folks who always greeted us with a welcoming smile and the breakfast was delicious! Thank you for the lovely experience!

Great little hotel in a perfect location for touring around the city. Breakfast was good, room was nice, and the staff were very helpful and kind. It was also great to have the elevator available to reach our room on a higher floor. I would definitely stay again!

My only minor issue was that our first day in Venice was quite cold, wet, and windy, and the radiators in the room had (I believe) been turned off for the season. I know it was very warm in Venice the prior week, but would have been nice to have the option of heating the room on the chilly day. Otherwise, it was a great stay!
