Location is brilliant! Great terrace, service and friendly warm reception and staff, especially Florence . Very clean. Towels and sheets are very nice. Bath towels are huge and hand towels are beautifully starched, bright white European style linen

We like this hotel a lot, so things listed below are not something we had a huge problem with , but just or of recommendations list to make a stay even more pleasant : Our shower was tiny ( which might be just in our room # 303), full size mirror by the door would be a great addition , somewhat moody a/c , a bit limited breakfast menu , would be happy to pay more for more options on a menu. Also, would recommend using a different , more hygienic easily cleaned material option, like may be plastic, for the towels basket and for complimentary toiletries.

I had a wonderful experience at the Antigo Trovatore Hotel! The location is absolutely unbeatable—just a short walk from the water bus station, which made arriving with luggage incredibly easy. It’s also ideally situated for exploring Venice, with all the main sights and the charming streets of downtown just steps away. The hotel itself is clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. My room was spotless and cozy, offering everything I needed after a day of sightseeing. What really made the stay special was the friendly and helpful team—everyone was welcoming and eager to assist with directions and local tips. This hotel is a fantastic choice for travellers looking for convenience, comfort, and a warm Venetian welcome. Highly recommended!

Location was excellent! Very close to the main square, water bus and water taxis, and gondolas. Everything was clean and the terrace was nice to have. Staff were friendly. Compared to other hotels in the area this hotel provided good value for these reasons.

Very small room, which is to be expected. We went out for breakfast each day as the one offered at the hotel could be drastically improved. Other than the shower towels the other towels were more like dinner napkins or placemats, seemed odd and were not absorbent. Small details like that, and installing a small shelf in the bathroom for toiletries would go a long way.

The room was a nice size and very clean. The bed was comfortable. The air conditioning was great. The bathroom was a good size. The staff was super helpful and told us about a planned train strike that would be occurring the day we were to depart. We were able to verify our train was not affected. The hotel was steps from the location to pick up the boats and very close to several good restaurants that weren't tourist traps.

Convenient location for public transport & plenty of shops & restaurants. Good access to the hotel as the nearby water bus stops are convenient for the water buses to and from the train station & airport. Very clean & comfortable room & bathroom. The room & bathroom were on the small side but manageable and functional and having the balcony added to our comfort. The shower area was big but the shower head was very high up on the wall though it was detachable for those of us that are short and there were also good toiletries provided. Good tea/coffee making facilities & the bed was very comfortable & the location quiet so we slept well. The staff were friendly & helpful - providing info about the water bus strike & we also needed information about the French air traffic control strike & our flight situation that the receptionist helped us with. On the day of departure there was heavy rain and the receptionist kindly gave us an umbrella which we greatly appreciated (we passed it on to an arriving passenger at the airport to use for their stay in Venice!). We liked the hotel & the location and we had a very enjoyable stay in Venice.

No milk provided with the tea/coffee. They could be more generous with the provision of toilet paper! The lead for the kettle was short so we had to put it on the floor to boil as that seemed the only accessible socket. One of the bedside lamps was not plugged in and didn't have an obvious socket to access. These are all minor though and we enjoyed our stay and liked the hotel and the location.

A great place to stay. Very friendly staff. Superbly located on a quiet street just behind plaza san marcos. A short walk to the vaporettos, the Venetian aquabus system. Lots of great restaurants nearby. Of course , that is not surprising in venice, but there were some nice local coffee shops and places to get snacks as well as gelato within 10 meters....and that's not always the case. It makes for great base to explore venice. Walk half a block and turn to your right and go see san marco and all the tourists and craziness. Turn to your left and explore a quieter venice.

No need to think twice—just choose this hotel! It was the most impressive choice during my trip to Italy. After taking the 5.1 or 4.1 boat from Santa Lucia station, it's less than a five-minute walk to the hotel, located right next to the Doge's Palace, in an impeccable spot. There are also delicious gelato and Italian restaurants nearby. All the staff members were extremely friendly, and the lady serving breakfast was warm and attentive, checking on how you were enjoying your meal. The front desk also proactively asked if you needed assistance. The room was unbeatable, with views of the Doge's Palace and St. Mark's Campanile while enjoying the sea breeze. Yes, I have arrived in Venice! Thank you to this hotel for the wonderful memories!

Excellent location, comfortable beds & pillows, AC in the room, hair dryer in the room, refrigerator in the room, elevator if staying on higher floors, good €10 breakfast, vending machine with cold still & sparking water for €1 (very convenient, especially if you need water in the middle of the night), nice courtyard/patio space in the lobby.

The only issue were the initial flight of stairs that you have to go up to get to the lobby. If you don’t have much in the way of luggage, it’s fine, but with heavy large luggage it’s difficult to manage.

Great location, only minutes from San Marko piazza. 24/7 working reception personnel. Personnel was very competent, friendly and helpful. The room was with good size, bathroom was with everything you need, personnel was taking care of it everyday. Good air conditioner. The street is full of all food that you need - bakery, restaurants, pizzerias so the hotel is on a great place.

The hotel is at the most ideal location for Venice as its a short walking distance from the water taxi stop and its a few minutes walk from many tourist attractions. The rooms are comfortable and all facilities work well. There are restaurants all around the hotel with various options for food. The hotel staff were kind and patient to explain best options to move around.

We could not use the airconditioners throughout our stay looks like its centrally controlled and was hot a few times and would have needed the airconditioners to work. I did not like the fact that the hotel determines room temperature contols for paying guest.
