The Hotel Maison Ducal is very well located, exceptionally clean and the breakfast is very good. It is only a small hotel (8 rooms), very quiet and the staff were excellent, always on hand to help and make our stay comfortable. The hotel is positioned next door to Hotel Daniele which is reputed to be one of the best hotels in the world. Worth going in and having a look! The concierge at Maison Ducal recommended some excellent restaurants and also helped with Vaperetto timings and had top tips about catching a Gondola. We would definitely stay again!

Booked this after comparing many other reviews and wasn’t disappointed. From the second I booked the hotel were so responsive answering my questions and giving me advice prior to our trip. I booked the room for 2 adults and 2 children and asked for an extra bed in the room which they confirmed straight away. The room was clean and comfortable and the location was perfect, literally a 2 minute walk from arriving from the airport by water taxi. The breakfast was really lovely and had a perfect selection. I marked down the facilities simply because the lights in our room were temperamental and we couldn’t get movies on TV but it didn’t bother us as we only wanted to watch something with the kids before bed but they had you tube on there anyway.

Everything was great. This room popped up last minute when we needed to find a place the day before our arrival. The hotel is small but quaint and charming. The finishes are high end and very nice. The breakfast offered every morning is more than I could ask for and the food was great! The ferries all stop at one of the main ports right by the hotel. I would definately book here again if I plan to return to Venice.

Breakfast was great. There were many options to choose from , bacon, eggs sausage. Personally pancakes are my favorite! Fruit, pastries, cereal, toast. Definitely a great bonus and so much easier than having to look for places to have breakfast each day.

Honestly, we couldn’t fault anything. If we had to choose one thing, it would be that the room was quite small, however we did know that it was so we weren’t worried about that. After all, the purpose of our vacation was to be out and about and that’s exactly what we did.

Location is pretty central but quiet at the same time. The design is contemporary and cozy, rooms are small but comfortable.

Due to the small number of guests it would be nicer to have fresh coffee served at the table instead of from a machine. Espresso was not the best. Also complimentary water would be a nice touch.

Location was close to St. Mark's Square and a very short walk from the water bus landing which made convenient to take our luggage. The breakfast was nice with a variety of choices and the man who welcomed us was very friendly, kind an gave us amazing restarurant options. I would highly recomment this hotel, it was really nice, clean and modern and fantastic location.

Lovely small hotel. Just a few rooms all on one floor. Elevator accessible. Really close to st Marco and ferries so great location. Breakfast served very close to room so it’s a very cozy feeling (but not noisy!) clean and modern looking just like pictures.

Many thanks to Rudi the Concierge who was very friendly and helpful and made sure we were looked after - very attentive. Location is great - a short walk down an alley from the waterfront where we arrived from the airport. Rooms are ok size and clean. All staff very nice. Location fabulous as within minutes you are in st marks square and the shopping, other touristy sites. Buffet breakfast was great - hot and cold food. Good value for money. We wouldn't normally stay at a hotel with this star rating but was a recommendation from a friend who raved about it and they were right.

Rooms don't have a lot of storage so lucky we didn't pack much. Air Con wasn't working when we were there although the lovely concierge got us a fan and also a mosquito plug in repellent.

great location 5 min walk from san marco sq and 1 min from the feries. helpful staff. good breakfast. spacious comfortable room. 35 min walk from the train station.

abit noise from the road but guess that would be in most hotels in venice. but quiet after 2230. vegetables in breakfast would be nice too. plenty of fruit and great cakes though :)

The location of the place was amazing. Very close to the waterbus, San Marco square and many small shops near by. Also great places to eat nearby for a fair price. Staff was also super nice and breakfast was really good! The hotel is new and everything looks very modern.

If I must say something: the cleaning of the shower corners could be a bit better.
