We loved the welcome that we received. When we booked the private transfer from the airport, we didn't expect to be met at the Arrivals door as we hoped off the transfer bus! We loved the beautiful decor, the smiley and friendly staff. We booked a room overlooking the lagoon which was incredible.

We were very surprised we didn't have a coffee maker in the room. It would have been nice to have an iron and ironing board too, but we could have called reception to request one.

-The location was excellent, minutes away from St.Marks square -The staff was extremely helpful -The room was excellent, roomy, full of amenities and decorated in keeping with the city's theme, a truly immersive experience. All the common areas were decorated with antiques adding to the experience

- The breakfast although plentiful in general was a bit lacking regrading the savoury choices (the sweets were plentiful), however that is more of a personal king as i mainly prefer the savoury over the sweet.

We had an amazing time in Venice and this hotel made our stay. The staff are amazing and so accommodating. My wife is Celiac and they were so amazingly thorough. The location is so perfect as it close to San Marco and all the boat/gondola docking stations you ever need. The room was service really well with plenty of clean towels.

Slight smell from the bathroom but can be expected in Venice with the age of the hotel, so no real complaint. Although drinks are expensive, you get what you pay for as the ambience is superb.

Beautiful and close to everything. The staff were super helpful and always available for any question or need we had.

Maybe have some more outlets around the room…most of the outlets were being used by lamps and other room items. Maybe there were other outlets and we just couldn’t find them, but I had to unplug a lamp to charge my phone. Otherwise, the room was fabulous. Thank you!

Water taxi’s are abundantly available from the airport to the property and arriving via the water is a must both logistically and as an experience. The hotel’s transfer option is over-complicated and unnecessarily expensive.

Lovely older hotel, perfectly situated on the waterfront. Nice to eat breakfast in the garden. Really, really comfortable beds (my best night’s sleep for a long time) and friendly staff.

No tea or coffee-making facilities in the room. On the last morning I noticed a tray with a kettle and cups next to the stairs (not in a place I’d passed when taking the lift to/from my room) - it would have been good to have known about this (assuming it was for guests to use). Paid a lot in the bar for a green tea, having not spotted this previously.

The hotel is in a perfect location. The hotel is so beautiful and like a museum itself. The staff were so accommodating and couldn't do enough to please us. I recommend the spa, its really good. The bedroom was spacious and stunning. We will be coming back - 5 stars.

Nothing - it was perfect

This is a classic Venetian style hotel that is like a museum. There are many collections of various items on display throughout the hotel. Our room was like suite with separate bedroom and living areas. Breakfast was very good. Great location and that have a water taxi dock

The shower set up was not the best. Had to climb into a deep tub to use the shower which was cumbersome and would not be easy for older people

Location was great, rooms super comfortable and clean. Staff super friendly, proactive and always ready to help! Breakfast was delicious!

Actually, I cannot say I did not like something, there was an issue with our bathroom but all the staff that we engaged with for this, they did absolutely everything to solve the issue. We were very happy with the service and our stay.

Beautiful decor and prime location. Staff were very helpful and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious. The one evening meal we had there was excellent.

Although the food was excellent, some what pricey compared to surrounding restaurants. Mini bar was very expensive.
