Location very good, less than 10 minutes walk from St . Marks Square and a few minutes from boat station. Good breakfast. Room very clean, a bit small but fine. Spacious shower. Staff very nice and helpful. No lift but knew that beforehand.

The hotel was clean and comfortable enough for couple of night stays. Location was also very reasonable with walking distance to San Marco. Overall it was a good stay and we had a comfortable time in Hotel Nuovo. Hotel has 24/7 reception which was very nice.

Prices in Venice are overall very very high, for the money you pay you are definitely not getting what you can get in other places around Europe or even other cities in Italy. However this has nothing to do with this specific hotel, as it is about the demand to the Venice and hotels. I would still recommend you to choose this stay and book early as comparing to the other hotels in the are it was a good find and stay for us.

Staff were fabulous — responsive and helpful before and during my trip.

Minor things (e.g., understandably, all television shows were in Italian. I tried to adjust settings so that I could get English subtitles, but I could not get that feature to work. I did not ask the staff for help — I really wasn’t in my room very much — so it is possible that they could have helped had I asked).

The best about this hotel is the staff. Very helpful, gave us a map and a little introduction about the points of interest. The room was nice and clean. They were cleaning every day. The breakfast was ok, and as I wrote about the staff, the lady in charge of breakfast (waitress) was very friendly. Exceptional service!

The towels were clean but smelling bad :((

The people were friendly and helpful. My room was recently renovated and a good size. The shower was strong. The breakfast was nice and the location perfect.

There were several flights of stairs, but not really a problem if you’re able.

Room is small but very clean, the staff was really kind and responsive! Excellent location, close by foot to the San Marco square. Plenty of restaurants around.

One can hear a lot from the other rooms/corridor/street, but it was not dramatic.

The Hotel is great, a short walk from St Marks, 2 minute if that walk from the Vaperreto. Great places to eat and the most excellent staff. Everyone was very helpful and friendly.

Location was great near Arsenale vaporetto stop (also to airport!). A short walking distance to piazza S.Marco. At first we got a small room on the roof with a terrace (lovely to one person!) but the bed was too small for us (150cm wide) and a/c of the building made noise during nights. However it was easy to change to the bigger room which had a bigger bed. Personell was always willing to help. The room wasn't new anymore in the main part but very ok for us. Nights were quiet. Breakfast was good as italian including eggs, bacon, bread, yoghurt, muesli, fruits and sweet pastry. We had a good stay.

The room on the roof is too small for two.

Excellent location. Very close to various boat stations, which is quite convenient. A 5-10 mins walking distance from Doge Palace and St Mark's square. Rialto bridge is a 15 min walk away. Excellent front desk service. He helped us a lot with getting around, restaurant suggestions, touring options and quite a few useful recommendations. Good breakfast. Basic spread, but quite nice especially if you don't have leisure time to go around looking for breakfast.

The bed wasn't comfortable. Apparently the AC doesn't cool until summer! We had to open the window to avoid being claustrophobic, but it's noisy until midnight.

Room was reasonable size. Breakfast was excellent. Staff very helpful. Location great.

Bathroom was a little challenging due to location of toilet and bidet.
