The hotel has been nicely renovated, with a taste of the old structure. The rooms and bathrooms are large, and the air conditioning works perfectly. The staff welcomes you at your arrival and every single person there is nice and friendly and does their best to accomodate your needs. We particularly enjoyed breakfast with many different choices and vegetarian/vegan option even if we are not vegetarian.

In the Summer (August) the whole area is crowded and since there is no reserved parking, it would have been useful to have at least an option to pay at the hotel and park in the whole area around it, while every street requires its own parking ticket. There is no elevator to the top floor, just be careful if you have many luggages (it was not our case) to request a room at a lower level.

Very comfortable family run hotel, staff were so nice and extremely helpful. Breakfast was a lovely buffet with freshly made scrambled eggs served to your table. Taxi shuttle to the train station was cheap and much appreciated in the heat. Our room was comfortable, clean and fresh towels and linens daily. Location was excellent, 50 meters to the beach and discounted rates at the beach club was fantastic. We will certainly return and have recommended Hotel Lukas to our friends.

It was amazing Cindy and the staff was awesome The breakfast in the morning was delicious, Cindy was very polite and generous with my morning cappuccino. Everyday I came back from my adventure I had fresh towels and a very clean and organized room. I had a very great relaxing stay at Lukas hotel I would rebook if I'm ever in the area again. My last day at the Hotel I needed a ride to the Airport and Cindy was really awesome and helped me get a taxi she was really amazing.

The bed was a bit rock solid

The staff were exceptionally kind and considerate of everything provided. I am a solo traveller with my dog and I honestly loved how considerate they were to all the needs my pet has, they even provided a little surprise box for us when we arrived. I am so grateful to have stayed here and will definitely stay here again when I return to Viareggio. The location is perfect to get into the city and parking is easy!

Good location at a reasonable price in which to visit the Viareggio Carnevale or the beach. Friendly and helpful staff. Parking is conveniently located and just outside the parking exclusion zone enforced the day of the parade, so you don't have to worry about moving your car or getting towed. View of the ocean on one side of the hotel and of the mountains on the other. Having a refrigerator is always a plus, though a electric kettle would also be nice.

All-in-all, the room was pretty clean, but a little bleach in the shower would be helpful.

Location, Location, Location!!! The rooms were so much better than the online pictures. We loved our stay. Closeness to the beach was optimal! The front desk was friendly and kind. Breakfast was lovely! WOULD BOOK AGAIN AND AGAIN!

I have zero complaints!

A bit biased as we love this hotel, 3rd visit and we're going back in September. What makes it for us is the staff, everyone is great, all are very helpful. The rooms are also very comfortable with all you need, which for us was all the basics plus air conditioning and a safe. Don't want to say much more as we always book too late and don't want you pinching our room next year, sorry.

The owner of the hotel was very nice and prepared for every breakfast American pancakes for our kid, even if they didn't have them on a regular basis

Great location at the Puccini square, with a big park on the other side of the road. Nice sea view from the balcony. Very kind owner and staff at the reception. Breakfast was good, nice coffee. Comfortable bed with hard matrass.

The only thing I was not happy with is the glass door of the bathroom.
