Great hotel accross the beach, friendly staff, very comfortable beds and great breakfast buffet!

Rooms are not soundproof

It was clean, spacious and the reception staff provided an exceptional greeting service. The staff were amazing. The TV lounge area was comfortable and the bedrooms were spacious. Our kids loved having their own room. The beds were amazing and there was even a pillow menu!We slept incredibly well ! The breakfast was exceptional and service was outstanding. Staff at breakfast were highly professional and well trained. The TV could hook up a Netflix account and little touches like good coffee was available in the Kitchenette.

We had to walk through a back entrance court yard, where you could hear back of house, such as staff talking, large skips of bottles being thrown away (very loud) and we were woken up on our first morning by workers outside the window banging at 8:30am. This is a small constructive comment, as we found the stay to be an overall brilliant experience.

Beautiful hotel, really lovely room and superb bathroom. The whole hotel has been very well updated and retained its art deco glamour. The staff were so helpful and I can’t praise them enough. Great location opposite the promenade with access to a fabulous beach. Good choice of restaurants close bye. The breakfast was excellent with a good range of pastries, fruit, as well as cooked . Hotel is about a 20 minute walk from the train station with easy access to Pisa, the airport and Florence

Wonderful staff, perfect breakfast, gorgeous and historic rooms with original 17th century frescos. This was the perfect place to stay for our short visit to Florence (2 nights). Location is everything, and this hotel did not disappoint. Around the corner from the Duomo and a short walk to the train station. Yet peaceful and quiet! Brilliant trattorias in the street with authentic atmosphere, food and very reasonably priced (best meal we had on the trip was at one of these!). Sad that we only stayed two nights - wish we could have stayed more. Definitely recommend to others travellers if you're wanting an experience when in Florence

A very warm welcome. It was a new staff member and he was very committed and enthusiastic. The professionalism and friendliness of the staff we met, (at reception, breakfast servers particularly, and also housekeeping staff.) The decor and art. The grandeur of the breakfast room. Availability of quieter sitting rooms. The rooftop terrace. Variety and excellence of breakfast food. The excellent location. The helpfulness of reception staff in sorting out a small issue we had. The assistance with our luggage as we left.

It's a dog friendly hotel which I m not too sure about l and I didn't like to see dog hair left on sofas on terrace. However all the dogs we saw were well trained, on leads and did not intrude on guests.

The location is perfect and the facilities excellent. The staff are extremely helpful. When we checked in we were given advice about places to visit. We went somewhere we loved that we hadn’t been to before and this was probably our 8th stay at the hotel. Our room was lovely and comfortable and very clean. The newly refurbished bathroom was fabulous. As always breakfast was fantastic. This was the first time we went to the restaurant on the roof terrace and we had an excellent meal

The hotel is very central and very elegant. The rooms very classic and clean with extremely comfortable beds. The breakfast truly exceeded my expectations, they even prepared vegan croissants for me. Also, had dinner at their restaurant and again it exceeded my expectations, the food was delicious, they were careful with dietary restrictions and the staff was very helpful. It was truly an amazing experience and look forward to visit again because we truly enjoyed our stay and the extremely perfect service the staff provide.

Beautiful hotel on beach front. Amazing roof terrace and view. Excellent customer care. Breakfast choice great. Rooms good size with comfortable beds and pillows

Fourth time for us here. Staff was very kind, with our small greyhound too! Room was spacious, clean and cleaning staff was very flexible and professional. But the terrace is always the best part for me. I loved working with an incredible sea view :) Will surely come back here soon!

During our stay, there was some maintenance work done in the terrace for two days and I would have apprecaited knowing this before. Not a bid deal tho!

We stayed in Palace Hotel's apartment, which was perfect for a family of four with one toddler, as it gave us the benefits of the hotel, but also the space and privacy of an apartment. The staff at the hotel were all super friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the location could not be better. We would definitely return.
