Really nice room with a balcony over looking the beach! In fact, our room had two balconies - one looked over the courtyard. Then only a two minute walk to the beach and many restaurants. 15 minute walk from the train station. The room was comfortable and clean with ample storage. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel provided towels for the stay. Breakfast was included and it was very tasty - a selection of cold meats, cheeses, bread, jams, fruit, hot food and tea/coffee. The scrambled eggs in particular were great!

The room didn't have a kettle, but that is a minor fault! On one day for breakfast, the bacon had run out 45 mins before the end. There were not many plugs in the room for charging phones and using hair dryers etc.

Classic boutique hotel with all the quaintness, but modern amenities. The breakfast was prepared fresh with croissants, fruit, breads, pastries, etc. Cappuccino was prepared as a normal barrister would at any Italian cafe. You can also order eggs, French toast, pancakes and other breakfast items. The tall sweeping doors open to a quaint terrace with beautiful flowers and cobblestones. The marble floors were gorgeous local marble in the foyer/reception. The rooms were old modern, but very clean and the sheets felt like they had been steam pressed. The bathroom had a shower/toilet and sink but a little small. Where the bathroom was smaller the tv made up for it and looked to be 32”. The host I spoke with Angelica was charming, sweet and helpful. She recommended a wonderful restaurant for dinner and it did not disappoint. This town is where Parmesan cheese originated. You could visit local factories where the made the cheese too.

No pool or jacuzzi.

The proximity to beachfront was perfect for us. We opted for a taxi from the train for our short drive to the Hotel (€13 at the time) and it stopped right at the door of our hotel. The foyer was lovely and secure with room to store our bags until our room was ready. Our hosts on reception were gracious and allowed us to enter slightly ahead of normal checkin time. They also encouraged us to visit Pisa and take the train to Pisa S. Rosare. Walking was 15 minutes from hotel to train without bags. Room was clean and functional. The bed was comfortable for both of us. Shower pressure great. Lovely view across to the sea. At night the window shutter came down to block out lights and sounds, except for occasional emergency vehicle. Breakfast was a cold continental with pastries, toaster and coffee machine. Barista coffee available on request. We enjoyed our two night stay.

Suggested enhancements: • a kettle, tea & coffee station in the room would be wonderful when seeking quiet time to rest from all the walking • a small shelf inside the shower to place shampoo and condition etc would be ideal, particularly if mobility or back restrictions make it hard to bend down to the floor and retrieve items. Other: Aircon worked well but was a bit noisy as needed it on to assist with airflow.

Wonderful location right at the beach front, lovely staff and atmosphere. The receptionist Max was kind and helpful, welcomed us for our honeymoon and congratulated for our marriage it was a beautiful surprise ! We stayed in a room facing the sea and watched the sunset from our window was stunning ! Room was clean, shower was great and bed confortable. It was easy for us to find paid parking outside and there are plenty of good and regular price restaurants to choose. Excellent stay, thank you so much !

We were coming from USA for Carvevale, this hotel has the best location, inside the secure area for the parade. The staff was very good to advise us on how and where to pick up the pass to enter the secure area. Our room was great, we especially liked our balcony where we could watch the parade. The front desk staff was excellent, very friendly and helpful.

All was great, no complaints.

Breakfast was very good. Beautiful omelettes made on request. Fresh fruit and pastries. Variety of cereals. Friendly staff. Location was superb. 3 minute walk to the beach. Surrounded by beautiful shops and restaurants. Very central location. Train station less approximately 15 minute walk.

Bathrooms and showers were quite small - limited space.

Breakfast was ok. The best thing about this hotel is the location, just across the road from the beachfront and beautiful promenade. Also the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Bathroom had a poor layout which made it very awkward and there was a lack of shelf space. The mirror light did not work. Disappointed that a bottle I noticed in a corner behind curtain lay undiscovered by cleaning staff for the whole week we were there. The number 3 fell off the door one time when we closed it!

I have been staying here on and off for over 10 years. It just keeps getting better and better. The new update and the great breakfast are perfect. The staff is so amazing at the hotel, especially Francesca, and the breakfast staff were wonderful. The location is perfect and the balcony rooms are worth every penny. Rooms are clean spacious. Bathrooms are a little tight but it is Europe. Stay here and you will be very happy with your choice!

I had to leave!!

The exterior and interior were very nice. The gentleman on reception was very welcoming and lovely. We had the 1 room on the top floor which was like the attic/loft room and was fab. The only downside to that, there was no window, only a velux which could be a bit claustrophobic for some but it was still a lovely room.
