We -as a family with young children- were looking for a nice 5star hotel but with good facilities for children. The balance between 5star service, 5star atmosphere and not turning the hotel into a children’s playground is a delicate one. But this hotel and staff definitely managed to combine the two successfully. I honestly had doubts when I read about there being a buffet dinner, but they make it work! Marvellous freshly made real Italian food, some being cooked live by the chefs. Wonderful location by the sea with private beach, multiple swimmingpools in a beautiful garden setting. The staff was very polite and friendly. Honestly one of the best hotels I’ve stayed with as a family. All staff was great and not one did not fit team. Gym/fitness was minimal, needs an update. Only thing I can think of.

From check-in to check-out, almost everything was great at the resort. The staff really makes you feel welcome and a valued guest. The breakfast and dinner, although buffet style, were awesome with so much variety and different possibilities that you will keep eating. It's a great view over the sea while waking up or having dinner. Also, the other restaurant options are great, and the private beach area is a nice and secluded area with good beds, waiter service, and safeguards.

Almost nothing was disappointing, but if I had to come up with something, it would have been nice to have a little shop on the premises where you could buy your essentials, such as a bottle of water or some candy. If you want that, you will have to go to the supermarket in town.

Excellent for families

The rooms were decorated beautifully. Bed, pillows, everythingwas very comfortable. The surroundings of the hotel were super nice as well. Food: Breakfast and dinner with tons of options and excellent quality.

The amount of children everywhere. We got used to them, but for a couple without kids it is difficult to relax when there are so many kids running around.

Loved the room, the meals, everything.

A little ant situation upon arrival, which was swiftly taken care of...and sheets and duvet on one of the beds which were dirty upon arrival. (this too was taken care of but should have 'never' happened. (ants are a natural occurrence, but dirty sheets are not)

We had a fantastic stay at Falkensteiner. Although we encountered a slight issue with our room during check-in, Aliza, the manager, promptly resolved it and ensured we received the room we had booked. Throughout our three-day stay, we had a wonderful time, especially the kids. The entire staff was super friendly, making the experience even better. This resort is perfect for families, and the food was amazing. The beach, pools, and entire property are simply beautiful.

The facilities are beautiful. The staff is super hospitable and friendly. Everyone in the family had a great time. Food was great.

We had 2 connecting rooms and ours air conditioner didn’t work very well and also we had some leaking in the room. Some days housekeeping was not the best.

Self service dinner set-up not our preferred option though food was generally very good. Parking outside in the heat not ideal in high summer. Beach is nice but there are better ones in the area.

This is a breathtaking resort! I fell in love with my elegant room and picturesque balcony view. The resort delivers on all counts, from the beach, grounds, excursions (sailing with Maby Mare is a must-do), hospitality, generous food offerings, spa, complimentary yoga, and overall atmosphere make this resort a top pick. Just be advised that the resort caters to young families. Will I return? Absolutely! But I will visit off-season as, at my age, I seek a more tranquil and serene atmosphere.

This is not a complaint, as I feel children are wonderful beings, but I was shocked to learn that the resort was family-focused. Traveling alone, I desired an upscale and sophisticated atmosphere. To my surprise, I found myself in an activity-heightened environment as the little ones are highly prioritized at the resort, which impacted the refined atmosphere I had set out to enjoy. This is a top-pick resort for families, and I will confidently recommend it to my family and friends traveling with their young families.

Amazing selection of food at breakfast and dinner! The private beach was so lovely too. Didn’t have any issues with finding a seat around the pool. Extremely clean facilities and lovely garden suite bedroom with very comfortable beds.

Swimming pools were quite cold (sea was warmer) and the pool bar food was expensive and not that good in comparison to the Kento restaurant and normal restaurant. Quite remote so would recommend a car if you want to explore. We just stayed at the resort and relaxed so it wasn’t a problem.
