Friendly staff, beautiful town and surrounding areas. Breakfast was above and beyond, very helpful service.

Not a fan of the bath towels, a new material, thin and awkward when drying. Also not a good hook to hang towel.

The hotel was small and quaint. Antonella was extremely accommodating with anything we needed. Our room was small and quaint. Breakfast was substantial and fresh. We could ask for tea or coffee at night and it was no problem. The location was good, right across from the bus, We chose to do the walks to the towns and use the train and bus to return. Antonella gave us great information, we had our car garaged the whole stay. A very enjoyable 3 nights :)

The pillows were thin and hard. The towels were clean but cotton like a tea towel.

We had a wonderful time at this hotel. The location was great to visit the Cinque Terre towns and there is a bus right outside to take you to the nearest town. The lovely lady who runs the establishment is very friendly and helpful and is a good laugh. The service and attention was very personal. The rooms were very clean and the bathroom very spacious. We also loved the soaps and body creams - very luxurious.

The shining star of this accommodation is the owner who is simply a lovely person. She enthused welcome! Also, we found this place after another place cancelled our reservation. We were worried about doing the Cinque Terra from a non Cinque terra town but it worked out just fine. We hiked both days and saw everything we wanted to. Breakfast is custom and amazing. We also went to the local restaurant, on her recommendation, and though nondescript in atmosphere was simply the best food we had in all of Italy!

The host is a very engaging person. Likable, helpful, welcoming. The location in the small town of Volastra is central to the Cinque Terra with bus service and steep hiking to the adjacent towns. The room, dining area and property is comfortable and spacious. The breakfast service was outstanding and plentiful.

It’s location is excellent. Quaint a little basic but it’s still comfortable. The bus stop just nearby is so awesome. It takes you to Manarola. The best part about this hotel is Antonella. She’s just too adorable. Kind and truly helpful. Love the parking space in the garden too .

I wish they have more regular towels :)

Fabulous location, just a short stroll into Volastra where there was a small shop and two good restaurants, as well as a vineyard providing excellent tours and tastings. The bus stop is just across the road, getting you down to Manarola in just 10 minutes, The room, bathroom and balcony were all a good size and very clean. Our hostess was wonderful, and gave us a lot of useful information. Parking provided under the building, Decent range of breakfast options and very good coffee.

The pillows were quite flat and the bed a bit on the hard side. The lighting in the room was a bit harsh (very bright bedside lamps, which is a little awkward if one of you is a late-night reader).

Location is good as you have free parking at the hotel and a short drive to the nearest public carpark at Manarola. Highly recommended for visitors with self drive. The rooms are very clean and neat. Great and friendly owner who prepared a great breakfast for us with yummy croissants, juices, yoghurt, hams and a wide variety of eggs such as scrambled eggs, sunny side up eggs upon ordered.

Antonella is super nice and helpful. She indicated to us how to get to the Cinque Terre train and towns. The location of the hotel is great because the bus stop is right in front of the hotel and it drives you right to Manarola, the first of the Cinque Terre towns, in minutes. There you can enjoy the town and take the train to visit all the other little towns. The breakfast was super! They have fruits, eggs, pastries, yogurt, and many other options. Of course, with delicious coffee! Our room was very clean and comfortable. We will definitely come back to Il Saraceno when back to visit Cinque Terre.

Everything was great! We liked everything during our stay. We are glad we chose Il Saraceno to stay during our visit to Cinque Terre. I congratulate Antonella on her great job, she is amazing!

Brilliant location only a 10 min bus ride down to Manarola, where u can jump on the train or ferry to explore. Bus back up runs until late which is fab. Hotel was lovely, superb breakfast and the most helpful knowledgeable host, definitely recommend. As yo arrive in the village hotel is on your right on a bend easy to miss
