Nicely decorated hotel, calm and peaceful. Room was spacious, comfortable furnishings, good shower. Bed was comfortable with soft pillows, though my wife thought it was lumpy. Breakfast was very good, good choices. No eggs, but waffles, oatmeal, cereal, toast, muffins, fruit, yogurt. Even has decaf green tea! You can hear jets flying overhead occasionally, but we slept well all through the night. AC/heater in the room was quiet, too. The nearby neighborhood along Huntington Ave. was interesting. Cool shops and a variety of restaurants. Next time we are here to visit my brother we will book this hotel for sure!

Minor details: no electrical outlets by the bed, only (2) at the desk. Only one bathrobe. Fridge was a bit noisy. Since we didn't use the fridge it would have been nice to be able to turn it off. But there was lots of frost in the freezer so it would have made a mess defrosting. Wifi was ok but sometimes dropped out. News apps generally didn't work while other apps did. That was odd. The soap has a small dish to keep it in, but once the soap is wet it sticks to the dish and is hard to get loose. The dish needs some bumps on the bottom to prevent this. Hand cream was very thick and hard to get out of the bottle. The TV in the breakfast room needs replacing. As I said, minor details.

Our second time staying at the Villa Montes, and Lord willing there will be a third. EXCELLENT hotel, friendly staff and outstanding housekeeping in a place so clean you could eat off the floors if you had to. Speaking of eating, the breakfast buffet is well-presented and hearty. We love the Villa Montes and can't wait to return in 2026!

The Internet is weak and inconsistent.

Although the decoration is dated or at least a certain style, the hotel was cosy and clean. The breakfast was good too, with many options and fresh fruit, which we always like. We also took advantage of the gym which has some good machines and weight. It is also nice that the bus stop is right outside of the hotel, so in around 30 minutes we made it there from the airport.

The mattresses were too soft for our taste and with our room window facing the street it was a bit loud at times. But we were so tired and jet-lagged that we were able to sleep anyway.

I've extended another day of stay through booking.com and messed up with the dates. Instead of checking me out and double charging, the manager, mister A, was very helpful fixing this out. Overall, the hotel and rooms decor is beautiful and solid. Clean and comfortable. The atmosphere brought me the feelings of "old fashioned successful city", like San Francisco was a years ago...

Something is not quite right with AC heating mode, and maintenance guy has never got back from his break to look it out :)

Good parking on site. Convenient to the airport which was needed after nearly 24 hours on the go. We were looking for somewhere we didn’t need to travel too far to and this was ideal for that. Room was comfy if a little dated.

Decor was a bit odd. Seemed to have gone for a Spanish/Greek mix but doesn’t really work and just makes it feel dated. Didn’t like the look of the shower on first appearances but it was clean and worked well.

The location was great and easy to find. The staff were also really nice. I had a pleasant experience with every person I interacted with.

I stayed in the king suite, which was spacious and really nice. The only problem I encountered was the bathroom sink drained extremely slow. It was pretty gross brush my teeth and seeing all the debris float in the sink. Parking is also very limited.

Really neat property and well decorated and huge room. Staff were friendly and cookies were delicious.

The planes flying overhead was the worst part. We booked it due to its proximity to SFO. We didn’t know that we would be directly in the flight path ALL night long. Luckily we were getting up at 4am anyways. But didn’t get much sleep.

A very fairly priced hotel 5-10 minutes from the SFO airport. It's a quick 5 minute drive to the rental car center from the hotel on surface roads, so no traffic. I was expecting a basic hotel and I found the rooms, shower, bed to be above average. The one clear downside was airplane noise. But for me the noise never effected my sleep.

Close to the freeway, onsite parking, large room, shower was good with plenty of hot water. TV had lots of channels and there was a channel guide on the dresser. Nice sized coffee bar with a keurig coffee machine. Room had a microwave, fridge and safe. Bed was a little soft but comfortable.

Only one smaller size pillow per person.

Easy driving distance from the airport. Excellent free breakfast. Romantic accommodations if with a partner/spouse/significant other. Parking was limited, but under CCTV surveillance, which I found comforting. Excellent bedding and quiet room. Once again, the setting and decor was very romantic.

No complaints at this time.
