Enjoyed the fact that I was able to locate this place for a pretty decent price.

Didn’t appreciate there wasn’t a back entrance you had to walk all the way around the building with your luggage. The area didn’t seem very safe we arrived around midnight and there were some young teenagers in the streets just standing around and the strong smell of marijuana was unbelievable.

Location, all the staff, thank you all.

Front rooms noisy due to the main road being so close, advisable to ask for a back room of the hotel if possible.

Close to the airport and close to restaurants.

The lobby area is small and you have to pay for early check-in and late check-out.

Perfect stay for an overlay in SFO with shuttle provided to and from the airport. The hotel is small but extremely cosy providing everything you need for a comfortable stay. The breakfast has a lot of choice despite being buffet style rather than a “cooked” breakfast. Soft drinks and tea/coffee are also freely available around the clock. I am a very frequent traveller and have never given a 10/10 rating for any hotel whether it be a 2 or 5 star. This hotel merited this exception in particular with regard to the staff who are extremely welcoming and friendly. A special shout out goes to Kevin who went above and beyond to assist us with the logistics of making the best of our short layover in the city.

Aircon and fridge were a bit noisy but not excessive.

I liked having free parking. Free breakfast is also available from 6-9:30 am in addition to coffees, teas and juices being available to guests 24 hours a day! We had the possibility to pay in cash with a 5% discount on check-in! Old installation but renovated and very clean.

Small breakfast area (but I expected this). Hot items despite being tasty (omellets with cheese and pancakes) are available frozen and we have to use the microwave and there is a line for that! I suggest at least iced and not frozen to reduce microwave use time per person.

The rooms are basic but have everything you need. The beds were very big and pretty comfortable. It was very quiet despite being so close to the airport. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Shuttle to the airport was free and very handy. Check-in was super easy and could be done even very early in the morning. We went for a walk to the restaurants down the road and had a nice meal before our flight (this was maybe a 20 minute walk) so there are plenty of places to eat in the area.

Shuttle only runs once an hour to the airport in the morning and evening, I think it's more often in in the middle of the day but our flights were more awkward times. It doesn't go all night so if you have a late flight you may have to get a taxi or uber which can be really expensive. The showers have very low pressure so it was hard to have a really good shower. Apart from that it was a great place to stay

Great location for a stay before our flight out of San Fransisco Inernational Airport the next day. Friendly and helpful staff and clean and comfortable rooms. Breakfast and snacks were provided in a dedicated area near the lobby. Recommended if you just need somewhere to lay your head before or after a flight.

Although it didn't bother us, our room was at the front of the hotel, which was right on the main road through the area. If you like to sleep with the window open, there may be a noise issue. The lighting could have been a little better in the main part of the room.

The hotel offer free shuttle from airport. It’s 20 mins away from downtown and 40 mins from San Jose. Hotel offers complimentary breakfast, but very limited choices. There’s 24/7 coffee/tea/juice/water. There’s also a vending machine for snacking needs. The room itself is spacious. Room cleaning every other day. There’s ample water pressure and hot water. WiFi is good as well

Friendly, helpful, honest staff. I left my iPad in my room and only noticed 3 days later when I was flying home. I got in touch - they had tried to call me, they told me how to arrange delivery, I followed their instructions and I had my iPad back in three days - great service 24 hour reception - our flight kept getting moved later and later, then we were rebooked on another flight, we were happy we could check in anytime The room was a bit more expensive than some in the same area, but I liked to look of it, so I booked - it was very clean and well equipped (for a hotel room). It was a very comfortable stay - checkout was 11am - most other places we stayed on that trip were 10am - the extra hour made a difference after the day before's delays

We did have a wonderful stay @ Hotel 1550 ,starting from the moment we checked in till the check out ,we have stayed for a week ,great welcome from everyone there always helpful & smiling ,breakfast was delicious,coffee served was good as well ,location was more than perfect close to many places ,pizza restaurant Totto’s so delicious u can go there on foot ,Thanks for making our holidays so remarkable 🙏🌷
