Easy location close to the airport bus and train connections. The room was comfortable and had a clothes line in the bathroom, which came handy with a toddler. The hotel had a little playroom for kids and seemed they had taken families into account. Breakfast was lovely, and the staff was friendly throughout.

The rotating door at the entrance of the hotel was a bit anxiety inducing with a pram as it started rotating with significant speed. If it was already in motion, it was fine, but from stop to motion I had to take running steps with the pram in order to make it.

We were greeted by very friendly staff. Got to the room and it was more than we expected. The following day we went for a walk and I hurt my knee. We had to catch a taxi back to the hotel and they could see me struggling and they bought out a wheelchair and offered to call an ambulance. We got into the hotel and ice was bought out, we were able to rest there. We were able to take their wheelchair to the airport and we were told where we could get an airport wheelchair, the wheelchair was returned to the hotel. The reception staff were fabulous and genuine. We would recommend the Hilton Airport Hotel to any travellers without any hesitation.

The location, farther from the terminal compared to Sokos Hotel, is both a positive and negative. In winter, spending extra time outside dragging large bags over snow-covered, gravelly pavement can be bothersome. You can see the Sokos Hotel entrance immediately upon exiting the terminal 😒, but reaching the Hilton requires going behind or around it—adding extra walking distance, elevator or stairs, and then even more walking. During summer, the location is less inconvenient. On this stay (early spring, cold but snow-free), we departed around 4:30 am, so we missed breakfast. However, during my previous stay at Hilton, the breakfast was excellent. Usually Hilton offers a little better price comparing to Sokos.

The location is further from the terminal compared to Sokos Hotel. Hilton still uses magnetic stripe card readers 😀—totally old-school! Honestly, it’s not a major issue, but for the past eight years I’ve rarely used physical cards and often don’t even carry them with me. I have stayed in this hotel a couple of times already and always leave this comment - maybe Hilton will listen...

Fantastic location within walking distance from the Airport terminal (about 300m under a covered walkway) Supermarket by the terminal door also. Very comfortable beds. Stayed here twice in different rooms with a big room and private sauna when arriving in the afternoon and staying till early morning and a standard room when arriving late at night and leaving early morning. Both rooms are very good, Good size comfortable beds, nice large bathrooms with bath and shower.

No international plug sockets. Very strange for a hotel airport. Apparently, you can get them from reception if you ask, but this is not clear and not signposted. I found out when I mentioned this as an improvement when checking out. Can also get toothpaste from the reception.

Very convenient for a night's stay before of after a flight. The hotel is easy walking distance from the terminal, mostly under a covered walkway which was great because it was raining hard in the morning when I had to leave for the airport. The room was quiet and comfortable, the bed was comfy and I absolutely loved that there was a bath tube! Breakfast would have been available from very early on, but I didn't use this option.

This review encompasses multiple stays at this Hilton, once when we arrived to Helsinki en route to Lapland and then another instance on our departure back home. The breakfast that was included with our stay was wonderful. It had many options to choose from. Loved that it was conveniently located near the airport. We were able to make use of the public transport and head to Helsinki Central in just 30 minutes which we found to be very convenient and hassle free. The family room that we booked also included a private sauna and we made use of that as well.

While the walk from the terminal to the hotel was not so bad it would be even better if it was condensed. Since we used booking.com, couldn’t obtain Hilton HHonors points.

Breakfast was very good compared to Scandic Hotel (egg station and made-to-order omelette). The room had a bathtub, which is really nice! The staff is very patient with the slow checking system (in 2025 Hilton still requires swiping the card) and always helpful.

The location is worse than the Scandic Hotel (which is just across the street from the Terminal). To get to Hilton, you need to walk past Scandic, take stairs or the elevator, and then walk +300 m more. I was travelling with oversized luggage, and the elevator was not working correctly (I spent 15 minutes trying to make it work). The hotel has a maze-like room layout, which is just not convenient.

I liked the room size and the bed.

I didn't like that the room had poor amenities. It only had wall-mounted shampoo, shower gel etc., and no toothbrush, Q-tips, or nail file. I would expect those to be in my bathroom in a Hilton 4-star hotel. We had dinner at the restaurant, and it was also overpriced for the quantity of food. The quality of the food was ok, but for 40€ per plate, I had higher expectations.

We stayed one night, we had an early flight, so can’t say much. But the main thing we were looking for - close proximity to the airport- was definitely there. The hotel is just 2-3 minutes walk from the terminal. It was a bit tricky to find it when we arrived (you need to go to the lower label of the airport and follow the signs). The room was nice , clean and spacious. Especially the bathroom with the shower and the bath! Nice touch - treasure hunt organized for the kids, our daughter enjoyed it. Overall a nice hotel, up to a standard

Nothing really. We didn’t use any amenities. Overall a nice hotel.

Front desk attempted to get our rooms close to one another. She did the best she could. The accommodations are basic, adequate. Check in takes a long time. Offers a kid's kit upon arrival. Beds are firm. Room is very clean. Showers and bathroom facilities are very nice. Location is easy to get in and out of airport very easily. There is a grocery story just on way to hotel, easy to get items for breakfast and snacking. No need to get an expensive breakfast.

We did not book breakfast because it was pricey. We didn't use sauna because it was only open at night. I booked both rooms but sent confirmations to my husband. Check in process was more detailed wanting to know each guest in which room, etc, despite the rooms both being under my name. Weird.
