This is probably the best value for money hotel we have ever stayed at. Room was big, we could actually have all our 3 suitcases open on the floor and still be able to easily walk around (which is not that common for hotels in Japan). The room was very modern, bed was comfortable and the staff really nice and helpful. It also surprised us that we never had to wait for the lift more than a minute. You can’t beat the location, it’s across the street from Okayama station, right above Bic Camera store, less than a minute walk from Family Mart and a 5’ walk to AEON mall. I would stay here again without a second thought.

Nothing, without exaggeration it was one of the highlights of our trip.

The location was great, right opposite the train station and close to shops and restaurants. We liked that there was a small table and two chairs where we could have a light meal. The staff we encountered were really friendly and helpful.

Some people may be disturbed by the sound of the pedestrian crossing warning bell. We could hear this from the 7th floor, but it did not bother us. We had the hotel breakfast once. Not recommended. Our expectation was a hotel buffet breakfast, which we had experienceed at other hotels in Japan. This breakfast was a choice of I think 4 breakfast options, which you had to select immediately on entering a restaurant. The food was not to our liking and lukewarm by the time we received it.

Spacious room for Japan, separate entrance area with great space for luggage etc ( bizarrely the bathroom had a huge step up to get in! ) Room had many facilities and plenty of tea/ coffee etc to take from reception. Location is fabulous, being right around the corner from Okayama Station, 5 mins walk. Had a tram stop right outside which could take to get to main sights. Staff spoke good English. Check in machine, and pay upfront, to get room card, was a bit confusing but staff were really helpful. Kept bags in advance of check in which was useful for early sightseeing.

Minor detail- huge central light in bedroom, which was the main/ only light, apart from the 2x bedside lights (obscured bedroom window facing internally) so always too bright. Maybe room looking a little dated, but you're not in the rooms for long, so not really an issue.

Location was just opposite JR station &!near bus terminals & tram. Having washer & dryer is a bonus though just 3 to serve so many means wait time is long during evening washing periods.

The step up to the bathroom can be quite tough for elderly. Also the layout of the room is quite weird. I expected a 28m room to be fairly big but found it was the 2 twin beds that were big & took out much of the space in the room.

The staff are lovely and very helpful, especially with forwarding my luggage (and storing it on arrival). All the cleaning staff etc you pass in the hall always say hello. The rooms are clean and pretty spacious. Location is good right near the station. Plenty of washing machines, there were 3 on the level we were staying on.

The rooms are somewhat dated but as I mentioned, it is clean and not expensive so that is fine.

Great location near the train station. We used this hotel as a stopover to go to Naoshima Island so the proximity to the station works well. The hotel is accessible from the station using underground walkways. The room has an opening window for fresh air.

Rooms are a little old but clean and tidy. Check-in requires attending the reception desk then using a machine to get access cards and room number. The process is unnecessarily complex. Double bed was against a wall on one side. No top sheet on the bed.

Walking distance from Okayama station as well as attractions, shopping areas, food, etc. Able to wash and dry clean clothes for an affordable sum. The rooms are considered quite big for a Japanese hotel.

The toilet didn't have much space to hang clothes or to place all of one's toiletries.

The hotel has easy underground access to Okayama station and a quick tram ride will get you to Kōraku-en gardens. It’s a typical business hotel, our Superior Double being large, but it didn’t have separate shower, washbasin and toilet. It had fridge and kettle, but no microwave. We didn’t have breakfast so no idea what it was like. For the price we paid, it was good value for money.

The room was somewhat bigger than you often get in this class of hotel in Japan which makes it feel much less cramped and more comfortable. The location was excellent too - right by the railway station.

Finding the entrance is a little tricky. The place is on top of the BIC Camera shop and you have to find the right elevator to the 5th floor. Check in is a bit strange too. There are staff there, but all they do is help you use the machine. It's a bit unclear.

Location: right in front of the train station and next to a lively neighbourhood with lots of options for foods (and watching old clunky and kawaii tramways). The staff were nice and helpful as well. We only stayed a night, did a laundry and went out for dinner, it was a nice break. Room was comfortable, with large beds. The shower was particularly nice. I also like that you get to pick the amenities you want/need
