I do not usually write reviews for hotels, but I think it will be of benefit to those who are thinking of staying here. Here is a summary after staying here twice during Umrah in off-peak time. - Hotel is very nice mashaAllah - Staff are very friendly and helpful - Rooms are very nice - Food was very nice - It is relatively far from Haram (i.e. you cannot really walk there). The hotel provide constant shuttle bus service, going every 30 minutes most times (the drivers were also friendly and nice). To consider. I found that the shuttle ride generally took about 10-15 minutes to Haram. They drop you off in Gaza - which is on the other side of the Haram to the clocktower (the left of Marwa mountain) - from the drop off point, it takes you about 15 minutes to walk to the actual entrance of Haram. If you are Men, then it's not a problem but I think for women, children or elderly this is a consideration.

I do have some advice for the Management of the Hotel if they read this. I would like to commend you for friendly staff, the cleaners, drivers, restaurant management - may Allah bless you all. But, can i please advise you to have the women staff at least cover their hair. You have gone from women wearing Niqab to now a number of them showing part of their hair - Remember people come for Umrah, as a spiritual journey, it is not befitting for you to have women uncovered like this. I hope you take my advice in the spirit that it was given - may Allah bless you again.

The hotel is good , staff and service are good. Like all Novotel hotels, the buffet breakfast is definitely worth trying. Rooms are comfortable, and it was spacious as compared to similar other rooms in Makkah AlMukarramah. The shuttle bus service is good, every 30 minutes. Sometimes bigger buses and sometimes a smaller one. It's 10 to 15 minutes max to and from Haram. The hotel has free parking, depending on availability. There are not enough restaurants nearby, but this can be managed with food delivery apps. Despite the construction going on in nearby areas, there wasn't much impact on this place. The security staff outside is helpful and courteous.

The location itself is not ideal only if you are someone who likes to go out. There are not many facilities nearby except a couple of shops. There are not too many parking spaces. So if you are lucky, you can park and leave it in parking until you leave, or you may lose the spot. There are some places on the other side of the hotel but not too many.

The hotel is clean, staff is nice, breakfast is not the best but it’s OK. Overall the stay worth the money

Far from Haram. The shuttle takes you to another location to take another shuttle to the Haram. Best thing is to take a taxi straight to the Haram which will cost you 35 SR, or to Gaza parking where you have to walk about 10 minutes to Haram, and that will cost you 20 SR

The property is located in a quiet and away from the crowd of pilgrims. Perfect Four Star Hotel with all amenities and it was up to the Expectation from the Brand Novotel in all aspects. Ms.Burooj was exceptional in handling the Guests.

The drop off and pick up point by the Bus shuttle service offered by the Hotel is at the Far End point of Haram which is KubriGaza is very very Far from the Entrance of Masjid Al Haram. You need to walk a Long distance to enter the Mosque which is very very difficult for Pilgrims.

It's an overall superb experience staying in Novotel, with luxury and big sized rooms and excellent customer service. Staff were so welcoming and smiling. Well managed shuttle service To & from Haram with designated stop. Had a good variety of breakfast which meets the requirements. Private basement parking was an additional comfort for us. Very nice and clean will run hotel I love to staying again

Shuttle bus service to the Mecca every half an hour it’s very difficult to catch the prayers so every 15 minutes will be fantastic. I would like to Hotel authority to change to every 15 minutes bus shuttle service.

The hotel is very new, clean and well maintained. I have stayed for the second time. They provide a wide range of breakfast. It’s close to Jannat Moalla, Lady Khadijah AS shrine.

Although the location is relatively close to the Haram, but the road and the way to the property is not paved. Although, the hotel provides shuttles service, it drops you close to Gaza gate, where you need to 20 minutes walk to reach inside the Haram.

Excellent value for money

Location- slightly out of the main centre of Makkah but they have a shuttle service which is really easy to navigate

Very clean , professional staff , excellent breakfast buffet

Location to the mosque was far and inconvenient with the current construction and closing off all entrances making the walk even longer

The bed is so comfy, the breakfast is the best ,the bus to harram is on time
