The accommodation offers service for a good price. I booked two nights for 228 riyals, including breakfast, which was relatively good.

What I didn't like was the breakfast receptionist. She was in a bad mood all two days. I don't know why. When I searched the reviews, I found more than one person criticizing her style. I think it's a good idea to put a decent employee to receive guests. On the other hand, the carpets in the hotel were dirty and old, whether inside the room or in the corridors. But overall good value.

But with Ibis Hotel which came as a recommendation from a friend, it works out really well. They have a shuttle service which provides round the clock pick up and drop off service to Haram at fixed times. They are very punctual with timing which I admire. The drop off and pick up point is on Ajyad side near hotel Emal Al mashayir which is about a convenient 5 minutes walk from Haram ( WC no 3 or gates 89-92) The rooms are clean and well kept like hotels in the West. Very nice and clean hotel. Shuttle service from Hotel to Haram is very good. BBQ pizza in hotel restaurant is very nice and affordable. Located near Masjid Aisha (Nearest Meeqat to Haram in case you plan to do 2nd Umrah)

The shuttle service from Masjid Al Harm has incorrect timings and the hotel has only 1 bus. 7kms by walking to Haram which is not possible. We had to wait for hours for the bus to come and sometimes we had to take Taxi because the bus dint arrived. The local Taxi from Masjid Al Haram to Ibis Style will cost you 30 Riyals and peak hours 50 Riyals. Very limited restaurant and supermarket options available in this area

The stay was good. The room service was good. The staff was well mannered and the reception was helpful for any queries.

The only issue was the shuttle service. The frequency was less. The big drawback is the shuttle timing from Haram to hotel. Like 15-20 mins after the prayer. Not enough time to reach if praying inside. I suggest more shuttle frequency or may be add another vehicle and start every half an half. Once you miss the bus the next is after an hour.

The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The housekeeping team were amazing catering to requests on a timely manner. The location is relatively far from the Masjid Haram but the hotel provides a shuttle service around the clock which is a major advantage considering the minimal per night cost charged.

The reception needs to be more organized. Having 3 employees yet consuming 10-15 mints per customer to check-in (who have booked and paid online) on a non busy day is unaccepted. Had a long que to check-in just due to this inefficiency. Only felt this during the check-in but the rest of the stay was a 10/10. Restaurants or eateries are hard to find around a walking distance. That said, we had found 2 eateries adjourning the hotel (next to the hotel 'Samarakand' and one behind the hotel 'Arabic bread and breakfast') and another approx. a 10 minute walk away (Turkish cuisine). However, the timings of these places were unpredictable as they were closed on different times on different days.

I love everything about it especially, the house keeper (Akib) who was so much dedicated to his work and tried his best to please guests.

I don't like the fact that the Saudi Government have changed the bus park to Gaza as against Ajyad. Gaza bus park is really far from haram and is not convenient trecking from the bus park to haram especially with kids and the elderly

Location, Very good transport to Haram but only every 1.5 hrs. Room service was excellent and well priced. For umrah, you don’t need more than this.

Travel to Haram is only by Taxi - though hotel has a bus always on time. No restaurant or supermarket near by - Bindwaood supermarket is at 20 mints walk.

Room was well decorated and furniture and very clean. The bed was very comfortable. there was a safe, minibar and kettle as described. the hotel looked very modern. The staff were very helpful and caring.

although i knew the location was a bit far from the Haram, i had an issue with the hotel bus that mostly seemed to be late or too early. and at night time was not as frequent. the first night i missed the 10 PM bus then i had to wait until midnight for the next one as per the hotel time table.
