Favorite thing is the beautiful masjid that’s right across the street from it. Its Very clean hotel, visually appealing and it’s big and has a lot of other things like a cafe, gym, masjid, spa, pool etc.

Beware: Has no American outlets. Couldn’t find a set bus schedule, and it’s about a 16 min drive to masjid Al haram.

Friendly staff and always available when needed. The hotel looks nice, neat and clean. Beds where comfortable. There is a swimming pool available which is a great plus point. The distance to the haram is fine. It takes 5 minutes by car to reach the haram.

The sound isolation isn't 100%. I couldn't sleep the first night because I could hear the neighbours. The swimming pool is only for kids and men. Women can swim on specific dates and pay 30 riyals for 1 hour swimming. This is not fair for women 😒 There aren't enough restaurants in the area.

The staff was very helpful specially Razan at the reception and Ismail from the room service. Rooms were clean and well furnished. Breakfast was good and variable

The location was far from Alharam and buses drop you off far from Almarwa door and you have to walk a long distance. You have to wait a long time at the elevators specially at breakfast time

Amazing Modern decor, great Food, very quick room service, mostly everything working as expected. Many elevators that are all very modern and quick. Good location if mekkah is not Busy and there isn't traffic and road closures, good laundry services.

Reciptionist didn't clearly explain that the Hotel has its own Shuttle service to the Haram and told me just take a taxi even thought roads were closed, one of the security staff outside the hotel was kind of Racist and kept making fun of my Egyptian Accent when I asked him how to get to Haram, water smelled like DDT for some reason alot of the time.Horrible location in busy seasons (which is when we went), Depending on the hotel's shuttle/Bus is a PAIN but sadly in busy seasons like the time I went at the end of Ramadan it's your only option.

Every think is perfect but I suggest to drop visitors of Alharam at King Abdulaziz gate instead of Kadi station

-The timing of buses from and to Haram is not suitable for prayer times and inconvenient,need at least 2 bus to overcome this issue -Very difficult in parking-hotel should apply one person to park the car Need more natural juice

Overall experience is very good, we enjoyed the stay at the hotel, clean and quiet rooms, brilliant room service, amazing staff team; - Shuttle bus to Haram during all prayers (if you missed it don't worry, 10:20 SAR taxi will drop you to Haram), - 25:40 SAR taxi to HHR speed train Makkah station, - 05 minutes walking to grocery stores (02 of them and not operating 24 hours) - 02 restaurant (Turkish and Afghani) just 05 minutes walking distance enjoy the view in the lobby and please don't disturb the birds XD

- Room view wasn't good (internal block corridor view) and I was expecting better view, - Toiletry were little bit less but thanks to room service team all were set, - Heater button internal indicator light were malfunction but we figured it out :)

Staying at Violet Hotel exceeded our expectation. It is better than the photos, extremely clean, very organised, free parking in basement, lots of facilities to wonder around including swimming pool for children with caffe for parents next yo swimming pool. Breakfast is great with so many options, you can easily say it's breakfast and lunch combined. Breakfast was included in the price, self service eat as much as you want, our children loved it. 10 minutes away from Masjid Haram by free bus or 20 riyal by taxi right at the hotel door. There are markets, food shops, restaurants nearby 2 minutes walking. I would definitely recommend it and next time I visit Makkah I would love to come back to this great hotel. It was so busy that when we did the check-in, customers who were coming without advance booking were told there are no rooms available, I heard this myself while I was doing check-in. You won't be disappointed just need to remember it is not in walking distance to Masjid Haram, transport either by free shuttle bus (10 minutes) or taxi (5 minutes).

Everything thing was amazing, I hope the hotel management does not take the matter personally, I loved the hotel and I wish it well, the restaurant is a complete failure and does not live up to the level of the hotel, please reconsider this matter, there are a lot of varieties but unfortunately 😒 I saw how people fill their plates with food and after they taste it they throw it away unfortunately, knowing that the restaurant manager works hard and does not sleep and the work team works hard but unfortunately the situation was very bad, please accept my comment and thank you.

- The location is far in general but you can reach in 5mins to Haram and back with taxi (15 SAR) - Nice spacious and clean rooms, i have booked a suite with 3 rooms. This option is very good for group of 8-9 people as you feel like home. - Breakfast buffet has a very good variety

- The room service was very slow and sometimes ignored even when you ask for something at the main reception. No room cleaning even if you ask for. - The shuttle service is not reliable, very few trips and also not convinient if you have elder people along. After prayer times, you reach shuttle haram pick and drop point earliest 20mins but the bus is already gone.
