Dear Ramada by Wyndham Makkah Zad Al Rawda Hotel Management, I recently had the pleasure of staying at your hotel in Makkah, and I must say it was an excellent experience. The room, with its top city view, was superb. Your service providers were attentive and gracious. Although the hotel is slightly far from Masjid Al Haram, approximately 3.5 km, the overall experience was wonderful. The amenities provided were top-notch, and the cleanliness of the hotel was commendable. The dining options were varied and delicious, catering to a wide range of tastes. Additionally, the shuttle service/taxi to Masjid Al Haram was punctual and convenient, making it easy to attend prayers. I truly appreciated the warm hospitality and the attention to detail in every aspect of my stay. I look forward to staying at your hotel again in the future and will definitely recommend it to others. Thank you for your hospitality.

However, the only thing I didn't like was the lack of free car parking. The building's car parking area was not available, and I had to park my car slightly far from the hotel. In the future, it would be greatly appreciated if even one night's parking could be made available for guests.

Finding a truly accessible hotel in Makkah can be challenging as many do not meet the needs of wheelchair users, even when advertised as "accessible". During my previous visit, a well-known five-star hotel in the Clock Tower lacked a proper accessible bathroom. However, Ramada by Wyndham in Al Rawda exceeded my expectations, providing a genuinely accessible experience with a well-designed bathroom and toilet. The staff were exceptional, especially the floor manager (whose name I, unfortunately, forgot). He went above and beyond to ensure my comfort, even preparing my room and allowing me to check in four hours early at no extra charge—a gesture of true hospitality. The breakfast menu offered a fair variety of options, catering to different tastes. For fellow wheelchair users, the only minor concern is the size of the shower chair, which is quite small (about 1 square foot). Guests should be mindful of balance while using it. It would be great if the hotel could consider installing a slightly larger chair for added safety. Overall, I highly recommend Ramada by Wyndham in Al Rawda for wheelchair users looking for a comfortable and truly accessible stay in Makkah. The hotel’s facilities and exceptional service set a high standard.

Neat and clean rooms and beds are very comfortable. Staff is very friendly and kind. They let us check in early at 10AM as our flight was early in the morning. The actual check in time was around 3PM. The restaurant serves some real quality food.

Just make sure to have some place for Parking in front, especially when arriving with baggage and kids. It’s a very busy place with buses coming right in front of the hotel frequently for transport to the haram. It becomes a little bit difficult to move in and out. Nevertheless a good hotel.

The room was clean, staff was friendly especially mr Ibrahim the cleaning staff on floor 16 who helped us a lot during our stay. We checked in midnight and checked in without any hassle. Checks out are easy too and there are couple of store nearby. The bus is free but the wait time is quite random. Overall very great value offered with excellent service.

The bus wait time is quite random especially in Kidana station to hotel, if you're unlucky you might wait for a while or get the bus straight away. but that's not under the hotel control so it's not a deal breaker, taxi is 15-20 riyal from and to Haram anyway. Not many food around but there's a delicious restaurant selling Bukhari rice and roasted chicken nearby.

Nice property all good, the location is bit far from kaba.. breakfast was so so not too excellent, but not too bad, all the staff was okay. room was clean.

Location is far around 3-4 km to haram cant go by walk must take taxi or hotel bus if there no good option to say nearby then this property is best specially in season when all nearby hotels are booked. Have to tell multiple times for make up the room to the housekeeping . Probably because it was too busy. But still this place if there is no other option is not that bad.

- Nice, clean hotel in a decent location a short taxi ride away from Masjid Al Haram. - Breakfast although not spectacular got the job done. - - For the price the quality of the hotel and breakfast included it’s incredible value for money! - There’s a cafe near reception which sells lovely coffee. - You can do your laundry on the roof floor, they have washers and you can hang your clothes to dry in the hot sun. - There’s Adhan and a large prayer room in the hotel (men and women separate). It was lovely to pray namaz there with people from all over the world.

There could be more variety in the cake selection in the cafe downstairs.

The room was pretty good with all the required stuff.

Shuttle Bus drop off should be near clock tower.

Everything was really nice, except for few things as mentioned below so the touch of finess which you expect from a name such as Ramada was missing.... 1. House keeping was slacking and maintenance staff was blatantly not available. 2. The locks on the windows were broken and hence were a hazard for families with kids. 3. They don't have parking and you have to park on the road on your own 😒 4. The restaurant/cafe inside the hotel was average. 5. They say the shuttle will depart every 10 mins but actually it's random and many a times you have to take taxi to Al-haram if you want to timely reach there.
