The hotel matched its price and star rating. The rooftop pool is excellent, and the staff is friendly. Breakfast was good. The location is also good — not in the very center, but within walking distance, about 12 to 25 minutes away. Additionally, many bus lines stop right in front of the hotel.

Sound insulation from the hallway and neighboring rooms, especially in the area near the bathroom and entrance, is quite poor. Within the room itself, it’s slightly better. Also, pay attention to the type of room you book — rooms on the first floor don’t have balconies. Ours was very close to the street, both visually and in terms of noise. The upside is that the windows provide excellent sound insulation, so when they’re closed, you won’t hear any noise from the street.

Room was clean and comfortable. Location was fantastic. The breakfast was 13 euros but the lady did not charge extra for my 7yr old which i appreciated.

You cannot reserve parking. But they also had no spots available when we checked in. As parking in Sevilla can be a nightmare I would prefer a hotel with guaranteed parking.

Busy, beautiful hotel. Excellent location. Helpful and friendly staff. Great hot/cold variety at breakfast, including exceptional cakes. Stuck to tea, as coffee wasn't great. Clean and comfortable room with a/c. Good bath/shower with great power and toiletries. Kettle provided on request free, but there's a charge if you want tea/coffee bits. Rich vintage decor/framed posters/tiles in the main areas. Beautiful.

Fabulous roof top terrace with views. Unfortunately the pool got very crowded , so we were unable to enjoy it. Not enough umbrellas to sit under for shade. Bar was shut. Pool opened at 12 so an early morning swim wasn't possible. Sound proofing between rooms is poor. Take earplugs if you are a light sleeper. Lounge bar has minimal snack options (no veggie). If you want a meal, you must order through room service option. We ordered Uber Eats which delivered to reception.

Great hotel the pool was a great facility for the summer heat, room very spacious with a huge bed and nice bathroom, loved the balcony!! Staff were amazing, thank you to Jack and Jacinto who were very accommodating, Jack fixed our air conditioning at 1am and we were very grateful!! highly recommend for young couples who don’t mind a walk into the sights and restaurants! Also great supermarket just around the corner for water and snacks- google Dia supermarket.

We thought the location was great as it was close enough to the centre whilst still being a quiet area. Pool was great and big enough but be aware that there aren’t many sun-beds and many people tend to hog them! Air conditioning could be a bit stronger we had to leave it on all day to get some relief at night!!! Be aware it’s a good 30minute walk to Cathedral/Alcazar but it’s a straight shot and nice walk, alternatively there are bud stops right outside of the hotel that will take you into city-C2/4 or 01!!!

This was our fourth stay here - we come to Seville frequently to visit family and after trying many Airbnbs, we've decided this is the best place to stay. The location is ideal for us, the rooms are spacious and clean, the staff always helpful and friendly.

There were no negative issues for us, particularly as we have learned to ask for a quiet room away from the busy road. The rooms on the busy road have great views over the city however, and the quiet rooms don't have any view to speak of. It's up to you, what you prefer. Can't comment on the breakfasts as we always eat out.

This hotel has old world charm, I couldn't believe it when I found out that it had been built in the 1970s. The staff were all helpful and friendly. The breakfast is great, a lot of hot, cold, sweet and savoury options to choose from. Our room was comfortable with a fantastic view of the old town walls and the Macarena neighbourhood.

The swimming pool looked bigger in the photographs. We only used it once seeing as it was quite crowded. Elements of the facilities are outdated, such as the TV in the room and the shower. I would recommend bringing a Chromecast type device if you would like to watch YouTube/Netflix in the room.

At first I was a bit concerned that the location would be too far from the centre for ease and comfort for a short stay, but once I had my bearings and figured out the route on foot through the Macarena arch and the public buses, I was happy!

It would have been nice to have some coffee and tea making facilities in the room . The TV didn’t work but I didn’t mss ilt much as I was out and about most of the time. I reported it to reception when I left. The minibar contents should be replaced each day but they were not. It would be useful to have a flyer with the public buses routes to the main sites, stations and airports .

The location, the breakfast, the staff are friendly and helpful. I asked to move room due to noise and heat and this was accommodated.

There was a security breach of information as those of us in the group (sports training camp) who booked the hotel using Booking.com were subjected to phishing. We were contacted directly multiple times by text and WhatsApp asking us to make payment and confirm our bank details to secure our booking. Some of them were very elaborate/quite convincing. I mentioned this to the hotel. We go annually and I usually book directly and have never experienced this before.

I stayed here for 5 nights and it was excellent. The bed was very comfortable, the room was clean and tidy and the cleaning lady came by every day to freshen the room up. The breakfast was diverse with something for every preference and the staff was really polite. Something that I particularly enjoyed was the shower, the water pressure was great and the hair dryer was the type that works really good and dries your hair quickly. The hotel is located in a safe, beautiful area right at the edge of the old town where all the attractions are, so you can walk to them everyday (takes 20-30 minutes) and get a chance to admire the streets. If not, there are at least 4 bus stations surrounding the hotel that lead to anywhere you might need.

We recently stayed at Exe Sevilla Macarena, and overall, it was a good experience. The hotel is located in a nice area, conveniently close to the city center—many of Seville’s main attractions can be reached within 20 minutes on foot. Despite having a rental car, we found no need to use it during our stay in the city, as everything was easily accessible. The hotel itself was clean, and our room matched the description provided. The staff was friendly and helpful, making our stay pleasant. One of the highlights was the breakfast, which was well worth the price. It offered a wide variety of options, including a section dedicated to local and traditional products, making it a great way to start the day. Overall, Exe Sevilla Macarena offers a comfortable stay with a great location, excellent breakfast, and good service. If noise levels aren’t a major concern, it’s a solid choice for exploring Seville.

The only downside was that the walls of the hotel were quite thin, making it easy to hear voices from neighbouring rooms. This could be a concern for light sleepers. Additionally, although we requested a double bed, we were given two single beds that easily moved apart, which was not ideal.
