We were greeted by a lovely staff member Sisi who spoke fluent English and explained clearly all the amenities available. The room was clean, spacious with a fridge and separate bathroom and toilet. The common area was filled with free flow of cold drinks, tea coffee and also a kitchen. Good wifi and good pressure in the showers. Fresh Towels were left outside our room without having to ask. Lots of eateries nearby. Highly recommend La Arada cafe for espresso and Beppu hit parade club for some entertainment. Close to the train station and onsens.

There was parking at the property at ¥1000 per day. The parking lot will be dedicated to you during the entire stay. There's computer games console for kids to play, library of comics, public kitchen and laundry area to wash your clothes. The hostel is a walking distance to restaurants, malls and Donki. Our room was spacious. Fresh towels are provided but no yukata or pajamas

I find the bathroom cramped despite the available space of the room.

Location was very convenient with free parking. The entire property was very well set up with extras such as drinks, video games etc for no extra charge in the downstairs lounge. Our room was large and comfortable. Linen and towels were provided, which we had not expected. Shower was small but very good. Room, whole property, and even downstairs shared kitchen, were spotlessly clean. Very comfortable and affordable stay.

Only complaint was that in the mornings there were no cups at the downstairs drinks bar.

The location is ideal—just a short walk from the Sunflower Ferry port and conveniently close to the city center. The lobby offers a welcoming atmosphere where you can enjoy complimentary hot and cold drinks, play retro video games, read books, or simply unwind while watching anime on TV. The room was exceptionally spacious, one of the largest we experienced during our stay in Japan.

Not working washing machine, but the will fix it probably soon. A coin laundry is around the corner.

Good location, Beppu Tower just cross the road. If you are Onsen fan, lots of Onsen to explore, suggest to try out the sand bath which is totally new experience. Shopping mall, morning fish market, restaurants within walking distance. Very strategic location. Parking space available, very convenience for those travel with car.

Everything good except no lift to carry your luggage up to 2nd floor. You may request to stay at 1st floor if your condition not fit to do so.

The price is the best, it's even more than the price. They got all you need and more. Good location after you jump off from the ferry or catch a bus and train.

We arrived very early by the ferry from Osaka. The door was close, we waited for more than half hour. What if you can do early luggage storage service can be better, we only need 5 minutes to put it in the building, but we understand.

The location is not too far from Beppu Tower and Kitahama bus stop, easy to go anywhere in Beppu and also to go to airport or other cities surrounding. The room is clean and quite spacious. The towels and toiletries have been changed everyday. The lobby offers free drinks and kitchen.

The security front door is too strict, which is quite difficult for guests to enter the hostel between 11pm and 8am, while no reception on duty during that time.

Very friendly and family-like place!! Staff is very good in English and explain everything very clear, checkin and out is very easy. The center facility is beyond expectation, having kitchen for cooking, many kind of beverage to supply, games for playing, books for reading... it's like being in your own house. The room is clean, comfort, wide space, and have everything you need. In room bathroom is good enough, and you still able to take 5 mins walking to public onsen too.

- The owner is super! He speaks English fluently and very supportive. I asked some questions and later he came with printed information about his research. Also, he is patient to serve the guest until all well (thus we awaited for ~10 minutes before the previous guest's check-in done 😂). - The room is good value for money. It's spacious and the beds are comfortable. - Soft drink bar and games for free. - You can borrow the toiletries out to hot springs nearby.

The staff was very nice and available. I had a spacious room even though I was a solo traveller. There is a kitchen if you want to cook anything, and hot and cold drinks are available for free at anytime. I had a really confortable stay at Beppu Hostel U&T, I recommend you to stay here while visiting Beppu. It's very close to the Beppu Station (10 min walk).
