The location is just beside train station and it is very near to the airport. The rooms are clean and love the scenery of sunrise and plane taking off/landing. Especially like to mention Miss A.Sata at reception counter who was a very friendly and helpful staff. She made us feel welcome and though we had language barrier, she was patient with us and shared useful information regarding the hotel. We asked for food recommendations and she gave us some suggestions and even helped to make reservations for the restaurant. She made effort in giving us directions to the restaurant. Miss A.Sata is a definitely a good role model which the other staff can learn from. Thank you, esp to Miss A. Sata!

I've stayed with APA hotels in the past and I'm really glad I stayed with them again. The rooms are compact but I still had space to have my suitcase open (I had it partially under the bed sticking out) and never felt like I was lacking space. All the amenities I could need and despite being plus size I fit in the bath just fine. I was on the top floor and had a lovely view of the airport, some nights I had the window open and it wasn't too loud either. The beds are quite comfy and I really like how you can control all the lights and aircon from the bed. Staff were lovely and I really liked the location, its next to a station that is 2min subway ride from Hakata main station.

I don't know how to describe it but the corridors are technically outside as there is a a hole in the ceiling which goes all the way to the 2nd floor, each corridor being able to look down it. Not really a problem however in the summer heat it meant the corridors were really warm so you didn't get that cooling relief until you were in your room.

Very convenient location, right on top of the only subway station (entrance to station is only a few steps from the front door of the hotel) between Hakata Airport and Hakata main station. Supermarket and restaurant within a minutes walk or it's only a couple of minutes on the train to Hakata station where the selection of restaurants, cafes and supermarkets is absolutely amazing. The hotel it self is clean and modern with friendly helpful staff. Bicycles are available for hire right at the front door.

There was nothing I didn't like.

The front desk staff were professional, polite, and efficient. Before check-in, I had some questions and received a prompt and friendly email response, which was very reassuring. The in-room TV offered a wide variety of VOD options, making it easy to relax after a long day. Amenities were clean and well-prepared, contributing to a comfortable stay.

The room was quite small — we could only open one suitcase in the narrow entrance area, and had to close it in order to open the door. The location is excellent for those using the subway, as it's right by the station exit. However, for travelers driving, parking nearby fills up quickly, so it's best to arrive early.

Location is perfect for those who have early morning flight because the entrance to airport metro is right in front of the hotel (no elevator, stairs only). It takes 2 minutes to walk down the metro and 3 minutes ride to the domestic terminal of Fukuoka airport. The room has all amenities you will need. Small but practical.

Soundproof is not good so we heard street noise and noise from the above room. Table top, bed head, and the carpet floor have some dust. The aircon blows unpleasant odor out if the temperature setting is high (23 C), once I reduced to 21 C, the odor disappeared. However, we stayed only 1 night.

Very clean, room was small but well-designed and comfortable. Good location, 15 min walk or one subway stop from Hakata Station, also one subway stop from the airport. Room was cleaned every third day (mandatory) but I received a package with fresh towels, pajamas, coffee/tea, etc. daily. I brought some instant coffee of my own and the staff who cleaned my room left extra stir-sticks next to it, I was really touched by the attentiveness!

The name is very similar to another APA nearby (Hakata Ekihigashi vs. Hakata Higashihie-ekimae) so I accidentally went to the wrong one. Luckily it was only a few minutes away. Room temperature is centrally controlled but it was too hot, I had to leave the window open.

The location was great if you’re doing the Shimanami Kaido. The bike rental shop is less than 5 minutes away and the ferry that takes you to the start of the course is right outside the hotel. It’s also right beside the train station so it’s easy to take day trips if you’re staying in Onomichi for more than a night. It was clean and did the job as a place to rest and sleep after a lot of walking around.

The pillows could be a little more comfortable.

Excellent hotel, same high quality standard as other APA hotels we've stayed in. This one is located literally right at the subway entrance, 1 station from the Fukoka airport, we could literally walk to the airport (1,5km). Besides, there is a big supermarket Sunny 100m from the hotel so it was really convenient. Our room was cozy and comfy, very quiet with every amenities and equipments needed. The flat screen TV is huge and provide a lot of free movies to watch. Checkin and checkout procedures were smooth and quick. Overall we had a great stay!

This is already the fourth APA hotel I've stayed at. You know what to expect: a small room, but with everything you need. Clean, fast check-in and check-out, fantastic location. The hotel provides access to a washing machine, dryer, iron, and microwave.

I always know what to expect, but I regret that there's no gym! However, this didn't affect my positive rating!

Location- right nexdooor to airport sybway line ( exit 4). In the middle of Hakata Station ( shopping & JR line) and airport. Both just 5mins away and 1 stop - amazing! Sunny Grocery store just behind hotel., Room was good for Japanesestandsrds, breakfast was tasty but small area-very busy from 7-8am( hard to find seat etc). Front of staff eager to help but many things lost in translation. Amenities like washing machines, ice machine, microwave are on level 2 which is handy.

Small room, limited tv ( not 1 English channel). There was BBC but it was DUBBED omg, so this is just part of Japanese culture I don't like. Hotels are very regimented ( check in/out) & tight to be honest! Even SE Asian countries have cable tv with a variety of channels to suit guests from vast backgrounds- NOT in the 5 hotels I have stayed in 2 trips in Japan! Not everyone wants to party from Monday to Friday, so maybe Japan Hotels need to come to the new age with streaming eg. Netflix would be a great start. Oh, in the afternoon the Ramen store next door gets cooking & the smell ( awful) can be overpowering in a bad way! I have a strong fortitude but coming up.those subway stairs some afternoons omg I was close! The ramen is quite nice later ,.apparently.
