We loved the location, cleanliness of our room and the seamless check in and check out procedures. I appreciate that towels and supplies are regularly changed and replenished.

The bed, i hurt my back because the bed is uneven when you lay on it, you seem to sink. Its maybe because the bed is old already that the springs underneath need to be changed or replaced. There was no luggage rack provided and frankly its not convenient for the elderly like me because you have to bend to the floor to get your things or fix your luggage. There should at least be a foldable luggage rack provided.

Best breakfast I have ever had at an APA hotel. Hotpot that you create and design yourself - sooo delicious. Western style menu as well as Japanese. Close to Hakata station - 5-7 minute walk, flat and easy. Hotel reception staff were professional, polite and lovely, especially the male receptionist who greeted me on arrival (and incredibly handsome!) Close to a Lawson's and lovely cafe just outside the door on the left hand side. Great restaurant just across the road from the main entrance.

Not being able to stream Netflix or Prime on the TV. Movie and viewing options are limited for foreigners. The viewing menu is the same across all APA hotels. I was in Japan in October last year - the movie selection had not changed and was still the same.

It's strategically located near Hakata Station with a number of convenience stores nearby. Also the staff was very helpful from check-in to keeping our luggage after check out. The APA App was also very helpful with regards to our quick inquiries. Heated seats and centralized heating during cold days. Very quiet neighborhood.

The influx of businessmen at the spa late at night. Do your laundry at weird hours (3PM or very early morning). The elevators are not that big but can accommodate about 6 adults comfortably. Be mindful of rush hours since it's a business hotel.

Very short walk to Hakata Station, which has many stores and malls. Used as a hub to travel around Fukuoka and Kumamoto. Location is excellent and convenient. Food is extra but didn't eat there. Use of public Onsen is included but didn't use it. Free luggage storage was available before check-in. For that room size, the room and bathroom were very clean. They refilled our toiletries and towels on the second night, to our surprise, so we were happy. Staff was very professional. We planned our trips so that we spent less time at this hotel.

Knew coming in that the room, bed, and bathroom would be small but still surprised haha. Typical size hotel room around Hakata Station (and even Tokyo), but slightly cheaper. Hotel heating and air conditioning are centralized so no temperature control in the room. Only brought 1 large luggage but if you have 2, space might be limited.

The hotel was in a central location, just a few minutes’ walk from Hakata Station, and close to plenty of food and shopping options. The room was small but comfortable, though it might feel a bit cramped for two people, with limited walking space. While there was a private bathroom in the room, the public bath was a nice bonus—a warm soak after a long, chilly day was much appreciated.

Once you step out of your room, you’re directly exposed to the elements, as there are no enclosed corridors. I was literally shivering from the cold as a result while walking to the lift and up the the upper floor to where the public bath is - while wearing the Yukata and Haori - a short, jacket-like kimono worn over a yukata.

Rooms are really tiny but have everything and bed was for me perfect (not too hard or soft). The gown and slippers were handy for the onsen (bath house) on top floor and it was handy that the TV showed how busy it was. The baths are inside and outside and on the roof. I didn't take breakfast but the food in the restaurant in the evening was unexpected (offal) but really tasty. Check in and check out was simple. One tip is that there are two APA hotels right beside each other in case your booking can't be found. Learned that the hard way🤫.it's very handy for train station and airport line metro (150 m). The hotel does sway gently during an earthquake which is a bit disconcerting when you are not used to that being normal.

They don't clean the rooms every day but they leave you a bag with everything instead. It's a bit of a waste since I didn't need the extra stuff. Apart from that I have nothing to complain about.

I loved that all the amenities were provided. The TV app was really cool too, able to tell me useful information like the weather and amount of people using the public bath (onsen). Also the bathroom had a small but deep tub, so I could have a private onsen experience if I didn't feel like using the public one. I'd say it was overall really cozy in the room, but also very professional as it's a business hotel.

The ensuite toilet is maybe 2 inches or so off the ground, so accessibility is a bit cumbersome. If you'd like to shower in the room, you'd have to step into the tall tub as well to take that into account if you have mobility issues. The bed was also more on the harder side, so not the most comfortable but still overall good. Do note that luggage storage is under the bed.

I only stayed one night as I was flying off the next day but the hotel and room exceeded my expectations for the price I paid. I like the design of the room, although small, still managed to put in a lot of things a traveller would need. Didn’t had time to try the hotel facilities so next time I come to Japan, I’ll book another APA hotel to try out the things I missed this time.

Room was small, but I already knew when I booked, so no complaints from me. Small but the important things are all there. Ideal for solo traveller.

The staff was really nice, the location was also very good in my opinion (30min walk from the airport). Also not too noisy but a big station in 5-10min walking distance.

The bathroom is very small. For my size it was just fine I guess, but anyone slightly taller than me (so average european or taller), will have issues. Also the TV turns on every single time you put in the card for the electricity, which is quite annoying. Also the small itself is quite small, but it is a common japanese sized hotel room, so to be expected.

Close to Hakata Station which has many places to eat and easy to ride various transportation modes. I would have rated this hotel higher except for the checking-in issue I had. I reserved 2 rooms for 2 nights, however, they only had my daughter's room reserved, and for whatever reason the staff could not find my reservations. Thankfully, I had my Booking.com confirmation email, and finally, after several minutes and difficulty communicating due to the language barrier, they found my reservations and were able to check in. The staff was very nice, it was just frustrating having this issue. We had breakfast coupons, and breakfast was great. I thought it was very authentic and the staff was very helpful. Rooms are small and enough for 1 person for a couple of days.

Check-in was confusing and frustrating but it all worked out well. Checking out at 10 am seems a bit early since check-in was at 3 pm. Most hotels allow checkout at 11 am or 12 pm.
