Very close to Hakata Station (east gate exit no.6) and nearby shopping malls. Comfortable bed. Good breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. Welcome wine was a nice gesture. Foot and back massager. Excellent shower with multiple shower heads/functions. Nice hot bath (temperature controlled) with Onsen powder/crystal for pick-up at hotel lobby. Separate toilet, shower/bathroom and sink. I like the kettle that kept the water hot for a long time after boiling. Allowed us to store our luggage while we went away for 2N before coming back for 1N again.

Tiny room and I would prefer twins instead of double bed.

The best thing during my stay at this hotel was that my room had a LG dry cleaner machine. It was so convenient to use it and keep our wardrobes clean & fresh everyday before outside activities. The great location to access to both subway station & JR train station. Hotel staff were very nice and helpful. One time during our stay, we had to call the front desk because we couldn’t access to their chrome cast on TV screen. Then, one of their front desk staff came over all the way to our room and fixed the system by a remote control. We thought that it was very nice and very much appreciated. Their breakfast was nice. A lot of selection to choose and nice kind staffs . However during our 7 nights stay, selections were exactly the same every morning. We wished that there would be some changes at least in 2-3 dishes, otherwise we easily got tired of eating the same things over and over.

The cleanness of the room was okay. The first thing that we noticed as soon as we stepped in our room was dirty & messy floor. We had to go back to front desk again and asked for borrowing a vacuum cleaner. We had to vacuum the floor on our own on the first night before putting up our suitcases and getting relaxed on our beds. Also it was very difficult to use their chrome cast by using their remote control. After so much struggles and some help from a hotel staff, we had to give up using that service. We wished that we could enjoy our favorite videos & contents on TV monitor through chrome cast during our 7 nights stay.

The room was excellent, so was the WiFi. The location was fantastic, just a block away from the train and subway station.

My only challenge was that several of the folks at the front desk didn’t know English. There were several at the desk who did know English, was one woman at the desk in particular was a great help — strong with English and great with my trip planning. Several others could only respond using a translator app — which only works well with simple questions. They were genuinely interested in helping but folks at a hotel’s front desk are held to a high standard.

Overall stay was great and comfortable with my family. Location is great, just a few mins walk away to Subway and Hakata Station. We liked the heated toilet seat too ! The hotel also offer free hot drinks at the lobby which help us to warm up during winter travels.

It would be great if additional facilities can be added like small gym or small pool. Also, cleanliness was not too consistent, sometimes can still find hairs on the bed or some corners, sometimes the room was very clean after cleaning; bath robs in the room were not consistently changed everyday.

-Staff were friendly and helpful. -Bed was comfortable. Different pillows were provided to suit your own preferences. -TV had an inbuilt Chromecast. -Conveniently located near Hakata station -Free amenities provided (coffee, toothbrush, comb, bath salts, etc.) added to the experience. -Room was well designed, making it seem bigger than it actually is. There was enough space for two large suitcases to be opened.

-Was a bit difficult to locate the hotel as it is down a side street and the hotel name signs on the outside are quite small.

The hotel is located very close to Hakata Station (East exit side). The facilities inside the room and the hotel are quite new and clean. Staff are friendly and speak well in English. Breakfast is plentiful in both Japanese and Western, though the menu remains the same. There's a 24-hour complimentary hot drinks station at lobby, which my kids loved after coming back on a cold day. There's also coin-operated laundry in the lobby.

Hotel location is a bit difficult to find even after I researched it earlier (for those arriving at Hakata Station or from bus terminal, the hotel is located at the East Gate side. If taking subway, pls look for East exit 6). But once we got used to it, it's all a breeze. Room size is kinda small, but this is to be expected with most of the city hotels. But I would still choose Forza II again due to its good location.

Great location within 5 minutes of Fukuoka main train station and 10 minutes by taxi to the airport. Comfortable bed. Great breakfast with plenty of choices. Had a welcome drink on arrival, which was a nice surprise. Easy and quick check in process.

The room was much smaller than the pictures portrayed but we were only there forever one night so didn’t worry. The hotel didn’t have any parking at the hotel or any partnership programme with any of the local car parks so it cost us £25 (4500¥) to park for less than 24 hours!

- Room was modern and clean - Room was spacious even with 2 big suitcases - we really appreciated the large couch - Super convenient location - about a 2-3 min walk to the main Hakata station - Toilet was separate to the shower room which we personally prefer - Free coffee machine in lobby - They offered a free garbage disposal service which was very helpful for us as they were able to dispose of our broken luggage (you just leave it in your room and put a sticker on the items you want to dispose of)

- Bathroom had a little bit of mould on the tiles - 2 washing machines and dryers for the whole hotel was not enough and was always busy so we ended up having to wait a while for them to free up

Pros: - 3 mins walk from Hakata station main entrance, all flat - 15 mins drive from airport - convenient stores/ restaurant/ cafe nearby - consider more space than other hotel in Japan (from my experience) - suitable for all types of traveller - room is clean, bed is comfortable - receptionists are nice and helpful (their English is okay)

Cons: - It is claimed as an 'Eco' hotel and i find their 'Eco' somehow means 'Less service' not really environmental-friendly - If you don't put 'Cleaning' sign, they will just change the towel and clear the trash bin for you. They won't refill any coffee/ tea, only refill bottled water, which is confusing - and if you need them, you have to go down to the reception to get by yourself - for the amenities (hair pack, creme, comb etc.), they also provide at the 1st floor, you can take as many as you want - is this really 'Eco'? - even though i put on the 'Clean' sign, they didn't change/ clean my used cups - I understand the cost of living in Japan but with this price (mine is ~19,000 JPY/ night), i expect more service

The staff were polite and helpful. I love the complimentary hair pack n blue lavender bath salt. The bathroom has a fantastic panel of multiple shower heads at different levels n give a therapeutic effect. Good coffee machine 24/7 at the lobby area. Location is really good when you take the subway (instead of the train). From Fukuoka Airport International Terminal, we took a free shuttle to the Domestic Terminal (10 mins). Catch the subway heading to Hakata Station (2 stops from Fukuoka Airport). Exit from EAST 6. Climb a flight of steps tp road level n turn LEFT. Walk straight and 1st turn on the LEFT n the hotel is on the right (about 1 min). If you have heavy luggage, then take exit EAST 7 and use the escalator but you have to cross the road to the hotel, which is also convenient.

There are two different FORZA Hotels in the vicinity. FORZA I and FORZA II Hotel signages for both hotels are identical and FORZA II is not prominent along the small side road. Many people will mistakenly think FORZA I (which is on the main road with a huge sign) as FORZA II..
