2mins walk away from Hakata station (east gate). Lots of food choices, shopping and public transport surrounding the hotel. Room was clean and comfortable, slightly bigger than an average hotel in Japan. Bathroom was big and comfortable.
Check in time is at 2pm. I was dozing off at the lobby waiting area due to taking an overnight flight with barely any sleep, and approached the front desk if I could check in half an hour earlier at 1:30pm. The staff informed me it’ll cost me about 1,000yen for early check in. I’d be okay with this price if it was an hour earlier or more, but at 1:30pm, that was just a little calculative I feel, especially since I was staying for 7 nights.

We stayed in the Annex or newer part of the hotel. The living spaces and bathrooms are more spacious than the older part of the hotel. We have stayed here multiple times and the elevators near the check-in lobby take you to the older part. The Annex is closer to where the coffee station is located. Can't beat this hotel for easy access to Hakata Station, convenience stores, and restaurants. The hotel stored our luggage for 2 days until we returned from visiting family. This was a great convenience that was truly appreciated.
We only had the side of another building as the view. The Annex has only one elevator so it may be busy during peak times. The self check-in is not so easy. I have had problems checking in for the past 3 years I have stayed here. Doesn't seem to save anyone any time since someone always has to step in to help.

We loved how close (1-2 minutes) this hotel is to the train station, restaurants and shopping. If it rained, there was only one short crossing from one building to the hotel entrance, the rest of the way was covered. There are two entrance/exits to the hotel. We used the hotel back entrance to come and go. We enjoyed complimentary hot coffee and hot cocoa everyday. On our last day asked front desk to call a taxi from the hotel to the airport and costs 300 yen extra but because we had a party of 6 and needed 3 taxis, it was too difficult to arrange. It must be done at least a day in advance. One party caught a taxi from the hotel and the remaining 3 adults walked over to the train station and it was easy to take a taxi from there. There were only two parties ahead of us but many taxis available at 5pm. It was about 1800 yen for the van with 3 adults, 3 large suitcases, two duffle bags and 3 rolling carryon luggage.
If no room cleaning requested, I would like the option of changing towels without the staff coming into the room and instead leave a bag with clean towels. If we ran into the staff in the morning then we made the exchange ourselves.

Wonderful location, very quick walk to train station (Subway, JR, highspeed, bus). Plenty of restaurant, shops, department stores nearby. Room is clean and large with nice deco. Love the foot massage machines in the room, very helpful after a long day of walking. Amenities in the room are great. Free coffee in the lobby helps too!
Staff is a bit cold for some reason. Not too much wrong with their service but lacking friendliness which is odd in Japan. Did not even look at me when I checked out, or say thank you or goodbye... Not just one staff

Location, location, room size, location, shower area, hair dryers, location, massage cushions per bed, LOCATION! I have been to Japan several times for vacation, and this honestly is the best hotel I have stayed at. The location was wonderful: it was literally steps away from the meeting point for day tours around the region and from transpo stops. Also, there were at least three convenience stores a just across the hotel. And Hakata Station was just around the corner from the hotel. The room size and amenities were pleasantly surprising, as well as the shower facilities (multiple shower heads). If you’re entertaining doubts as to whether you should choose this hotel as your base in Hakata/Fukuoka, do yourself a favor and book it. The convenience this hotel offers for its price point is unparalleled.
Almost everything was perfect: the location, room amenities, cleanliness, room size, etc. – but the front desk staff can be a little more “warm” and friendly. It’s a minor flaw out of the many wonderful things about this hotel, though. I get that this is a “smart hotel;” as such, everything should have been automated. And maybe the one attending to my query wasn’t conversant in English, as I was with Japanese.

Excellent location, near JR Station with plenty of convenience stores and places to eat nearby. It was very convenient to get to and from places. Will definitely consider staying here again on future trips to Fukuoka. Pro tip: go through the back entrance if you're coming from the station. There are two family marts nearby, one across the street from the hotel, and another right next to the hotel's back entrance
The rooms are small, but that is to be expected in Japan. Also, I was there with my family around mid-November, so they had the centralized heaters on. The rooms can get quite hot at night, so I had to always call up the front desk to ask them to turn the AC on. Other than this, I had an excellent stay.

Room is large when comparing with other chain hotels in Japan, one can place up to 2 x 28inch baggage and you'd be still have some extra space. Location is also perfect! Very close to Hakata St. Chikushi Entrance. Once you go through the exit, on your lefthand side you will see a street. Just go to that street and about 100 meter is the hotel entrance! (There's a restaurant just next to the entrace, you won't miss it!)

The BEST, right beside Hakata Station east exit...about 5mins walk away. Lawson on the way to the hotel. Nice signature Fukuoka Ramen shop around the corner. Starbucks..all were fantastic, the room was clean, and I totally appreciated the laundromat on the floor. Cables for charging provided. Electrical massage pillow, but never use it. So tired, after all outing - dropped and fell asleep 😴
The lady who helped me check in was pleasant 😊 But, the other wasn't, that was on my 3rd day - she sounded indifferent when I asked for advice about local info if she has recommendation to car rental company or if the hotel has any referral for guests? As a front desk staff, the bare necessity is "product knowledge...". Instead, I received, "You go ask." ???

Perfect hotel for my business trip! The room was larger than expected, the price was cheaper but the quality felt great for the price. Breakfast was also very enjoyable. Since I was travelling for work I didn't need to stay in the room for very long, but it was comfortable. Bathroom was also nicer than I expected!
the window basically faced another persons window, we almost looked at each other when i first opened the curtain. So I had to keep the curtain closed the whole time. No bother for me since it was just a place to sleep!
