We were looking for a place to use as a place to return to on our trip to bike across Fukuoka. This inn caught the eye of our group, as it is conveniently located 5-10 mins away from two subway stations and a Family Mart. Higashi-Hie is only one station away from the airport, while Hakata station provides access to the JR and the city's subway system. The inn is unmanned and check in can be done easily with a pad at the lobby. Prior to checking in, you receive a reservation number and the lobby entrance code. The room was spacious and clean. It has all the basic amenities, a dental kit, microwave, kettle, fridge, working AC, fast wifi, and a Japanese bidet toilet. The beds were fine and we got a good rest, although if you opt for the sofa bed, it had a lump in the middle that might be uncomfortable. If you are looking for a comfortable stay close to public transportation and downtown Fukuoka city, this is a good choice.

Great location near central transportation services, lovely spacious bathroom with the option of using the washing machine and the balcony is a huge plus for drying clothes. Simple check-in and check-out services. I greatly recommend staying at SG RESIDENCE INN HAKATA, especially for multiple people and groups given the spaciousness. I would definitely stay here again.

Microwave and stove could have been a little bit cleaner. The pillows were a bit uncomfortable but not a deal breaker. As other reviewers mentioned, the apartments face onto the street which can be busy and noisy at night.

Overall, it’s our many times stay in SG R. We simply love this place. SG R, you guys are always helping and accommodating my needs as I traveled with elderly. Thank you so much, SG R team!

SG R may like to look at providing some change of new towels if long staying guests like us. The last time, we checked in, abit oversight on the room. Wouldn’t want to mention much as they have done well to do recovery for us. We appreciate it.

Overall the place is quite spacious for 3 persons and there are enough space for 3 big luggages. It’s about 7-10 mins walk from Hakata station but it was not easy to find the direction at first. The place also have interactive pad for communication when you have question or need help.

It could have been better if there is a ventilation system with dry mode in the bathroom as it will help drying out the washed clothes especially during winter. It would also be great if there are hangers (not the wooden ones) to hang washed clothes. Also at the time we checked in the electronic door lock did’t work so we need to use the key room instead for the whole trip of 10 days which was not very convenient.

Good location about 10 min walk to Hakata Station. Very clean. The apartment is quite spacious. Self check-in instructions were easy to follow and we can call someone from the ipad in the lobby and in the room if help is needed. Good value. Easy to get to the airport by taxi (about 10 min drive).

Since the hotel uses a self-check in system, which is convenient, but there is no one in the lobby to ask questions quickly, so you have to be a bit self-reliant. There is a lot of traffic noise from the street below (we were in the 5th floor unit facing the street).

We were very satisfied with our experience in this unit. The unit had some standout features that made our stay comfortable and convenient. Firstly, the washer/dryer combo was a lifesaver. It was conveniently located within the unit and functioned perfectly, catering well to our laundry needs. The unit was extremely well-lit with ample overhead lighting, creating a bright and welcoming atmosphere. One of my favorite features was the electronic lock on the door. It made check-in and check-out incredibly smooth and eliminated the hassle of keeping track of a physical key. The toilet room is separate from the shower room, adding a layer of practicality and the sleeping arrangements were also ideal. The unit featured two separate full beds, each comfortably accommodating a single person, which was perfect for our needs. The unit also boasted a decent view of the surrounding buildings and included a balcony. There was no provided seating on the balcony, but we still enjoyed standing out there to enjoy the evening breeze. For those who appreciate convenience, there's a 7-Eleven just a 3-minute walk down the street, which was great for grabbing quick snacks and essentials. There’s also a 24-hour diner across the street, which was particularly valuable for late-night dining options when we returned from long days of exploring. Communication with the host was excellent. They were responsive and made sure the check-in/check-out process was seamless, which added to the overall positive experience. Overall, this Airbnb in Fukuoka provided a great blend of comfort, convenience, and thoughtful amenities. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

If you're staying for 3 or more days, or traveling with children this place is perfect. Check in was easy as all information was sent via E-mail. There was a washer, an adorable kitchen space, and the bedding situation was perfect. This place made our next accommodation in Tokyo, though it was a similar arrangement, look just okay, though I was previously excited about it.

That we were only in Fukuoka for one night. I would've loved to stay longer.

It's feels like a service apartment and well design/suited for short stays - with all the amenities and automation for access. The toilet, sink and bathroom are all thoughtfully separated. It's possible to stay long term in this place for sure... another good thing is it's only 1 MRT stop away from the airport ~18min + 600m walk.

location is a little far from Hakata Station if you want to travel locally. Convenience store which is abundant everywhere in Japan is surprising not near this property but you can get food from a restaurant opposite or behind the property.

There is Gusto close by. You can have breakfast over there.

There are two SG Residence Inn in Hakata. Another one is in Minami area, make sure which one you booked. All the kitchen stuffs are very useful, there are bowls, dishes, and pan. It would be perfect if there are cups or glasses for drinks.

I booked 8 nites from 4 to 12 Apr 23 and enjoy stay every single day. Check in is easy with DIY laptop on site. Prior to arrival, do checkin online via emaill sent by SG Residence. There is no early checkin or luggage storage area as is unmanned apartment. Late checkout come with a fee so may consider book another day instead of late check as for extended days bokong, the increment rate difference can be little. The room is spaciius with 33sqm and can take 4 Adults and rate is the same for 1 to 4 Adults. Apartment is very clean and has everything you need, fridge, microwave, washing machine, hair dryer, bathtub, separate bath and toilet. Kitchen is well stocked, electric stove with full utensils. Scissor, knife, tong and can opener. Towels, washing detergent, shampoo and body wash all provided 4 plugs point extension and clothing drying rack also available. Sound proofing good. Location is 5 mins walk to local 24hours supermarket Sunny and Higashi Hie subway station. Around 7 mins walk to Hakata Station. Is 1 station to airport from Higashi Hie but woul suggest take taxi especially if you have a group of 3 or 4. We took Taxi to & back from Airport and is around S$12 around 10mins drive.
