This was one of my favourite hotels from this trip. The staff was very kind and helpful, from check-in to check-out, assisting me with the luggage forwarding service. The location is good, about a 10 minute walk from Hakata station and near some konbinis and a good supermarket with great bento options. The room was really big, especially for Japanese standards, and very clean. The star of the show, to me, was the breakfast, which offered plentiful options, including western food, for those who prefer it, and several delicious desserts. You also had complimentary coffee and matcha in the afternoon, in the lobby. (I’ve stayed in the main building)

Nothing to say. As you’d expect, no tattoos allowed on the onsen, but that’s the norm and I don’t really care about it.

Polite staff and excellent breakfast menu. I was so surprised at how good the Japanese breakfast was, I booked breakfast for the rest of my stay! Hotel is close enough to Hakata Station about 10 mins fairly direct walk and also next to Sumiyoshi Shrine which is why I booked it as that shrine is special for me. The room was very comfortable, cleaned to a high standard, and there were separate spas downstairs for women and for men, which I didn't use this time. I thought the nightwear in the desk basket was a dressing gown, but realised afterwards it was nightwear! I would definitely stay here again when I come back next year.

My preference is for a slightly heavier futon or extra light blanket if needed to help me sleep more comfortably.

The restaurant was undergoing renovation at the time of my visit, but it didn’t mar my breakfast at all. It is by far the best brekky I had in my 10 days in Fukuoka. The variety is astounding. Quality of food top notch. Value for $ stay I would say. The corner room on level 4 (room 435) I shared with my husband is a touch small and the weird layout meant we had to meander our way through after opening our luggage. Best to take out what u need and keep it closed. Nice to have a vanity table. And windows that allowed for ventilation. I had to do my Pilates on the bed. But no biggy. I wouldn’t mind staying here again for the good breakfast, accessible location and pleasant onsen. Also appreciate the functional male and female laundry rooms

The hotel is superbly located quite close to Hakata JR railway station. There are numerous restaurants near the hotel and Canal City is within easy walking distance. Numerous convenience stores at every turn. The hotel staff are welcoming, friendly and helpful. Check in and check out is a breeze. Reception desk is manned 24/7. The hotel is clean, our room was well appointed and we used the excellent spa pool on several occasions. The laundry facilities were also excellent.

There was nothing that stood out

The hotel was walking distance from Hakata Station, in a relatively quiet part of the city. It was very close to Rakusuien, which we enjoyed visiting very much. We also spent a lot of time at Canal City Hakata, which is also close by. Dinner at the food trucks near the Nakasu Yatai area was also fun, so we appreciated being able to walk to all of these places.

The room is snug, so sharing the room with another person can be a bit of a challenge (especially having to climb over the other person when getting out of bed, since the bed is pushed against a wall).

Within walking distance to Hakata station, which is just a 2-stop train ride to the domestic Fukuoka airport. Lots of shopping at Hakata station area. It's got an onsen in the basement. The staff were very responsive. I was allowed to store my golf bags at the hotel after checking out as I was returning to the hotel to stay again after 10 days. Coffee and tea are available at the lobby area in the afternoon. Also available to those who turn up earlier before check-in time, to rest and have a drink.

For Plamo builders you can walk by foot to Bookoff (5 min.) Canal City Bandai Cross Store & Gundam Base (15 min.) Tenjin Volks (30 min.) Mandarake (40 min.) Gundam Base Side-F with bus

The bed was too soft for people prefering hard mattresses.

I loved the Onsen on B level. Each night I looked forward to showering and soaking in the Onsen to wind down after a lot of walking each day. I also like the coffee machine at the lobby (sitting area in the evening) as it also offer matcha flavour latte! So delicious. Overall the room was nice and amenities were great for a 3 night stay.

The bed was a bit soft for me, but apart from that everything was lovely.

Room space is on point toilet are exceptionally clean and functional. Rooms and toiletries are being replenish and cleaned daily which is a plus point. Breakfast has a lot of selection and bonus of SPA which is best to relax after tiring day tours.

It was all ok but it would have been better if the hotel can provide adequate pillow and hoping a better soft and comfortable quality. Breakfast hoping it changes daily coz noticeable for long stay guest if same food every single day.

The location was perfect, close to the station easy to arrive and to depart for the next destination. The spa area is nice especially that you can directly access it by going into the elevator and arriving right at the spot.

I really love the 80s style, just not the smoking style the 80s left on the building. The walls are yellow etc. you can even still smell it. It is not a deal breaker, but it is something that could be improved. I get the feeling that the 2 person rooms are the same as the single person rooms, the result is being a couple the bed was on the small side. We are not really tall, fat or big so we could fit in fine but it could use 10 cm extra of bed space.
