This hostel is truly one of my favorites in Japan! It was an amazing co-living space with a fantastic atmosphere. The design is wonderful; the separate bathrooms, located outside the rooms, allow for complete rest and quiet inside the sleeping areas. They thoughtfully supply robes, slippers, and towels. The communal spaces were a major highlight: the kitchen was huge, set in an open space with a very trendy, industrial decoration style. Best of all, everything was absolutely spotless. I felt the guests' security was well under control. This place truly embodies the positive image of Japan. Thank you for the great stay—you made my trip better!

It was my second time staying here, because I really liked the location and huge room (I booked a private room and it is the biggest room I’ve ever had in Japan, but you don’t get a bathroom). Also clean and easy to use.

If you want a private bathroom then you won’t want to stay here. Also the rooms have little to no natural lighting, and it’s basically like staying inside a warehouse— so if you want something fancy then don’t stay here. But for location and clean accommodation it’s great.

It was so quiet in the mixed dorm, that I could sleep pretty well! Also the aircondition was not to cold, the tempreture was perfect. The bed is like 1,20 m - pretty wide for one person. Behind the bed is a safe - great! The bathrooms are really nice and clean. The same in the kitchen area. And its a huge common area. Keys to leave your luggage in the main area are really great.

I would have liked a normal check in better then the self check in. Also it would be nice, when there would be a stuff person there all day long to ask things. I would have loves to buy the room wear - I liked it a lot!

The best hostel ive stayed in. They set the standard for hostel so high. The room is not capsule type but proper room with super single bed with privacy curtain. Facilities are great. Common area is quite lively. Well equipped kitchen. Theres amenities rack for you to get your pyjamas, towel, toothbrush etc. theres also private room if you dont want the shared dorm, but the dorm is more than enough for solo travel. Bathroom area is large. Check in/ check out is automated with their fancy machine.

I wish they have shoes off policy onside the sleeping area since its all carpeted. Some rooms might get lights from the corridor in so its not totally dark.

The location is perfect - really close to the museum of contemporary art, the gardens, the castle and many shops/restaurants around. Everything was very clean during the entire stay & the beds are really comfortable.

Feels a bit cold/distant at times - not really any interaction with other people or staff, as everything is automated. The AC in the room was too hot for me and was going all night - but that is a subjective preference. For the price one can’t really complain.

The cleanliness and tidiness of the property were beyond my expectations.

The property is quite large, which is nice, but it felt a bit off on the first day when I saw only staff and no other guests (however I reached the place quite late at night.) It got better later on when I met and chatted with other people staying there. I was also concerned about the hotel’s security, since the entrance was just a basic door that could be opened with an access card.

I guess.. everything. Man that was a great choice. We took doublebed room, so basically hotel standard, great price, clean, nonstop machine checkin/checkout, shared but very nice bathroom. Overall looked better than on pictures.

Stupid reviews giving 6.0 because they had to ask for second key which they immediatelly received without complication and similar BS. This hostel would have rating around 9.3 in Europe, we almost didn't book it for the low rating (currently 7.7).

Very clean, great amenities. Convenient location to Kenrokuen, 21st Century Museum of Art, Kanazawa Castle, samurai district.

The first night the aircon was set way too hot or someone forget to turn it down overnight. Check in was self service however one of the staff stood a little too close, without assisting or speaking. Felt a bit uncomfortable and not at all like typical Japanese service.

Location was very nice. Easy to reach. WiFi was constantly available and fast. Enough communal showers and toilets for the amount of rooms. The communal area has games, a kitchen and lots of seating

The room had no windows to air out the room. This was alright for one night, but might be an issue for multiple days.

The facilities are excellent but the social atmosphere is missing. Certainly the best facilities I’ve seen at a hostel. Large bed, very private, excellent washrooms, laundry and kitchen. Location is within walking distance of the gardens and castle. What is missing is no social interaction with anyone staying at the hostel.
