Very clean, new and good facilities. We also liked the neighbourhood. Well located for the train station and food market and some interesting shops on the same street, especially the antiques shop!

The room was long and narrow so it was quite dark and a little cramped for 4 people. Location was a bit of a walk to the historical areas, but not difficult.

The room was very spacious with a comfortable beds and it appears to be a newer hotel. The bathroom has a good shower and even included a hair straightener/curler! It was very clean and enjoyable place to stay being well located. A kind of bento breakfast was provided, delivered daily.

The staff didn’t provide additional information about Kanazawa, however they did provide a list of recommended restaurants.

Our favourite hotel stay in japan! Lian Kanazawa is an exceptional place, and we feel so lucky to have stayed there. From the wonderfully quiet location, which is close to points of interest and many restaurants. To the amenities on site, which were well considered for a guest's every need...including a small sewing kit I found in a decorative pot. I loved dimensions of the suite, the bath and heating controls, the spacious separate bathroom, small kitchen room, and very comfortable bed. For the first time in our ten day trip, we had a detailed information booklet. The TV remote also had English buttons! The code to the external and room doors were digital, and this made it easier to use than remembering swipe cards or keys. The lighting in the room was perfect. The decor and artworks were delightful, and Anastasia, who greeted us, helped to show us places to visit, including art galleries, museums, places to eat, and much more. Excellent accommodation, thank you for going the extra mile.

The toilet room was a little cramped with the basin console inside.

The room was absolutely stunning and accurate to the pictures provided. Its furniture and decorations are a great blend of traditional and modern Japan, giving you a true feeling that you are staying there. Amenities were provided based on how many days you stay, and cleaning services are also available if you stay for longer stints. Staffs were also extremely helpful and attentive.

Very nitty gritty details to highlight for an otherwise sublime stay: - Wifi connectivity can sometimes be intermittent. - Instruction for hot water is a bit confusing for the bathroom basin, which can be a pain point for winter guests.

Location is fantastic and situated in a quiet street. The rooms were well insulated, we could not hear our neighbours. Check in was smooth and the staff member went through all the key points and addressed questions that we had, she was amazing with great customer service.

1 washing machine and dryer on site could be a problem during peak period, during our stay, we were lucky to use the machine without having to wait for someone to finish theirs. Would like to see another 2 machines on site if the space allow.

It was a really nice property, the room was very spacious with great amenities and a modern design. The staff member who checked us in was very friendly. It is in a great location only about 10 minutes walk from the train station and less than 5 minutes walk from Omicho market.

The staff members are not usually on site, so if you need something at an odd hour they might not be there to help you. They also may not be able to store your luggage and you'll have to find a coin locker.

The location was great. Nice a quiet and great places to eat nearby. Beds were super comfortable, the drying room was awesome, and the toaster oven made kids breakfasts super efficient. 😊 Yummy coffee and tea provided. Easy to check in and out with the option to store luggage the morning we left. The staff were always easy to get in touch with via booking.com, and they provided a number for night time contact (which we didn't need but was nice to have).

Toilet was a bit narrow because of the sink.

Very nice hotel and it is located in a good position not far from markets and restaurants. The staff was very very kind and helpful. We arranged the time of arrival the day before without any problem since the staff is not always at the desk. The room was nice and well equipped.

I think they should clean the rooms everyday and we didn't have choice for the breakfast especially for my vegetarian partner who couldn't eat anything for breakfast.

Building, the hi-tech and large room and the location (in between the station and the castle, 10 min walking to each). Staff tries hard to assist.

Small details of which such a good establishment should have remedied by now (e.g. lack of luggage racks, lack of coat hooks at the room entrance), wc is too narrow with a useless basin (which could be removed thus solving the narrowness problem). Staffless operation. No breakfast option.

The room was nice, we mostly loved the tatami area. It was interesting staying in a hotel without staff. The location of the hotel is spot on. The value for money is great.

It felt a little tight, and we needed time to figure out how to work the water heater.
