Location very near to subway station and halal food.Clean and comfortable for family.

The house looks exactly as advertised and I really like small gestures from the host in providing comfort for the guests. Extra tissues, towels, drying rack for clothes and also extra chairs. Just nice and thoughtful. As a traveller, I feel that my needs were fulfilled in a very delicate way. The house is close to Shijo station. Life Supermarket, 7 eleven and Lawson are all about 5 minutes walk. Very convenience. The guidance given by the host make the check in and check out process like a breeze.

Apartment Hotel 7key is only 1 and a half blocks away from the nearest subway making it convenient to hop on/off the train for meals and activities; and luggage transport luggage. I recognized this property is not staffed but a fully-appointed apartment with a small dining table is still larger than most hotel rooms. Of course we need to share a bathroom but all four of us can stay together. Away from the main road and large mall a few blocks away, there was no noise except for the contractors that were usually doing work downstairs.

Although the wall signage is clear, the space appears only to be a single car driveway that we had to explore and access the lobby. The instructions to register including providing passport image and recording a video of each guest saying their name was clear but felt unusual and was necessary so that we can know what room is assigned to us.

The location was absolutely amazing, close to a plethora of restaurants and the Shijo metro station, but still quiet. Spacious fridge with a freezer. Felt very private as we were in the ground floor apartment, which is the only one there. Most comfortable mattress of my traveling history! There was just me and my husband so we basically each got our own bed. Instructions from the staff regarding check-in/out and using the apartment facilities were clear and comprehensive.

Not sure if this is the case with the upper floor apartments as well, but the space was very dark and gloomy, even with all curtains open. and there was a distinct smell of moisture/mold in the bedroom area (possibly coming from the carpeting?). The air quality was fine though, and the room had an air purifier.

The appartment was very convenient for a family of 4 (2 adults, a 7yo and a 9yo). Great to have a washing machine.

We had a rental car and was hard to work out what the cheapest carpark was as there were a few options around and we could not be given advice on the cheapest one (which is in a way understandable). The google translate camera helped a lot to understand the signs but basically, the park system in Kyoto is simple: park the car in an empty carpark bay and when you are ready to leave you type the bay nr in the machine and pay (better if you have cash). It would be good to have extra blankets as we didn’t like sleeping with the heater at high settings.

Location is strategic and super convenient. Space is big enough for 2 pax with luggages. Separate toilet and shower is great, and there's a washing machine which is a life saver during summer.

Smell came from the kitchen sink but this was quickly addressed and cleaned by the owner's cleaning crew. Super responsive. Nothing much that I don't like about this place, great experience for me and my wife.

The place is comfortable and clean. The surrounding of the hotel is many small eateries. Quite distance to subway, when took exit 4 (which has lift to subway) the route is slighty far, about 15 mins walk with luggage. Exit 6 is near but still have to walk 8-10 mins if you walk slowly. The subway has many line and not to far from kyoto station, around 2 stop via subway. The location is quite central, around 20 mins walk to gion city centre. If do not want to walk just take bus or subway. Transportation is easy to reach. Not to far from the hotel, there is famous ramen, the place is quite hidden but it is nice.

Quite distance to subway, if we walk without luggage it is ok, but if we bring luggage is quite troublesome as the lift is quite distance. The nearest exit is only stairs no lift to subway.

I like the location, it was just a 5 mins walk to the train station. Surrounding the whole area are foods! There is also a coffee place which was good nearby and it takes 3 mins to walk. Honestly, the location is kinda near Nishiki Market which you can walk, it will take appx 15-20 mins but still walkable. Check in was so easy and I do not need to check out. Size of the room was just nice for 3 pax with 3 medium luggage.

The only thing I didn't like was the pillows, it was really uncomfortable and had a hard time sleeping. I wish they had better pillows.

Everything about the property was fantastic. The location was great, only 2 stops on the underground from Kyoto main station which took only 5 minutes to walk to. The apartment was super clean and had everything we needed. We didn’t use the cooker hob or the washing machine but they were clean and easy to use if we had wanted to.

There was nothing to dislike about the property.
