I loved the property. Super clean, perfect location, great amenities, super comfy beds…

NOBODY speaks any English at all. It was very frustrating to have to use google translator every single time I needed to ask something. Also, check-in is at 5pm and since I arrived at 4pm I asked if I could use the toilet and they said “No”. I asked why and they said they were cleaning it so I had to wait for check in time. I thought it was rude. The WiFi is totally unreliable. I had to use mine most of the time. I talked to the front desk and they smiled but did nothing.

Highly recommend if you want a capsule hotel experience. Super clean, it feels like a star hotel, the common area, beds & bathrooms are are clean and nice. You get a fresh towel (and slippers) everyday. It is quiet and peaceful. There is a lounge where you can talk or take phone calls. there are lots of free amenities like toothbrushes, hairties, shampoo, conditioner, face wash, air/clothes freshener, hairdryer,... There are both shower rooms & a room with a bath. You get a personal locker which works with a keycard. Airconditioning works well. In your capsule near your bed you also have a mini safe, as well as a USB socket (so no adapter needed) & a tv. Also, you can adjust the airconditioning & lights. Good working wifi & friendly staff. I cannot recommend it enough !

The lockers are quite narrow so not all big luggages fit inside them. If your bag doesn't fit you have to leave it at the reception which is not ideal. We also found that getting new disposable slippers every day & seeing the staff emptying almost empty trashcans every couple of hours was a bit unnecessarily wasteful.

Wasn't expecting much so definitely exceeded my expectations for a capsule hotel! I did book a Superior Capsule so the experience was very pleasant with the extra door and space before my actual capsule bed. No locks of course so up to your discretion whether to leave certain belongings but compared to my other capsule stays, this one had lockers. Location was great, didn't realise it until exploring that it was one of the main central shopping districts in Kyoto. Just a bus ride away from Gion and Fushimi so really ideal. It rained during my stay in Kyoto and was able to borrow an umbrella and avoid the hassle of buying/bringing one from home. Loved my stay here and would definitely come back as a solo traveller!

Mentioned before but there is a small tourist fee you need to pay per night per person (you will pay the total at front desk) and they don't provide complimentary loungwear/sleepwear (you'll have to rent) so I still had to bring my own compared to my other hotel stays in Japan.

It has modern rennovation and all shared facilities are very nice and clean. They provide you with a lot of free stuff for your stay (slippers, toothbrush, razors etc.) Pods are comfortable for the price.

Almost no place to have a take out meal as it's forbidden to eat in your pod. Though they have water cooler and microwave on each floor, there is only two seats available and it looks ridiculous for a floor with 50+ people living in. They also have "rooftop lounge", but you need to request access to get there, and it's not very big as well and not good when it's raining because it's uncovered.

The place is clean and well maintained. The staff were friendly and approachable. They offered bathtub usage for free, though I wasn't able to use it. They also provide good product for toiletries. The place was also close tourist spots, train stations and bus stops. 👌👌👌

The place on the locker area is a bit small, i think only 2 people can open luggage at the same time. Moreover, they only offer 1 washing machine so everyone would need to wait for one to finish to do tbeir laundry. If you don't have anything to wash then its not gonna be a problem.

Tucked away in the heart of Kyoto, you’re a stone throw from some brilliant sights, foods and shopping experiences. From Koue Kyoto, a newcomer to the craft watch scene, Nintendo Kyoto, a film studio, a castle and plenty more, you’re spoilt for choice in places to visit. It’s also worth mentioning right next door is a prime location for a delicious bowl of ramen. The Glansit itself is very sleek and modern in style, easy check in and a very satisfying security system. The rooms are cozy and convenient but can get a little warm. (Expanded in the cons) The whole place is immaculate, zero comment there. The pricing is reasonable for the location.

My biggest issues with the location were, the fans in the capsules didn’t seem to work very well. I found myself in dire need of time outside to cool down through the night which distrupted sleep, perhaps a review of the fans and their effectiveness. The bath in the men’s quarters was out of order the entirety of my four day stay, a real shame as the photos did make it look rather nice. My two comments for change would be some means to force occupants to adhere to the rules regarding volume at certain times, I found the odd person was rather loud and rude being on their phone chatting during the night. The second is the rail for the capsules, most people did not lock it into place and you would hear the plastic clattering through the night which was tedious.

Prime location, stunning modern facilities, clean, value for money, and professional staff. I stayed in the superior capsule room and I was grateful for the extra space. The facilities are cleaned regularly. I loved the beautiful ceramic bathtub in the men's bathroom. Plenty of bath towels and disposable toiletries for use, as well as a hairdryer and washing machine available. There's a lovely rooftop space.

The wooden bucket and stool in the men's bathtub room had black mould and I told the cleaner about it but it was still not cleaned properly. He wiped it with a wet towel but I told him he should use a cleaning product to actually kill the black mould otherwise it will keep on growing back but he didn't seem to understand.

My second time staying here in the women only floor. I think it’s a great capsule hotel. The staff at the reception are very friendly, the common areas are clean and you have things such as hair dryer, curler and straightener to use as well as skin care products, toothbrush, toothpaste, hair comb, earplugs in case you want to watch the telly inside your capsule and the list goes on. There is also a lounge area with a microwave and coffee/ tea/ water machine for women only. It’s tiny but it’s perfect as there is always a seat there. In terms of location you are near bars, restaurants and shops so it feels very central. Transport connections are everywhere. I would stay here again if I had the chance.

The capsules were super cozy and the shared bathrooms and showers were always clean and tidy. They have a washing and drying machine for clothes that is operated by coins. It is very well located in the city.

The locker provided is small and does not fit a big suitcase. I had a carry in suitcase and a backpack and everytime I had to pick up something mine, it was a struggle. The women's bathroom gets chaotic in the morning, but nothing too serious. The staff did not let me check in 5min before the time.
