Cleanliness, huge space, and best walking distance from popular places like nishiki market, gion district, tons of restaurants.

Just when they were putting lacquer on the wall. The smell was very strong during the day.

Perhaps one of the most glorious hotels I’ve had the pleasure to stay in whilst on all of my travels. The beds were super comfortable and the rooms had the most incredible facilities. Less than a 10 minute walk from Nishiki market and walking distance from the Gion district. The hotel also had superb onsen facilities which were clean and accessible 06:00-11:00 and 15:00-00:00. Access to the women’s onsen is available using a separate card issued to female guests. There are two lovely bakeries across the road from the hotel and a laundrette less than one block away.

There was nothing I didn’t like. I loved the property.

This Hotel is one of the best we have ever stayed at. It was very new with few reviews, so we didnt really know what to expect as the pictures looked too good to be true for the price and location. But it was mich better than expected and even better in real life than the pictures. Very clean rooms that have traditional stuled japanese interior, all created with perfection and in every detail. The ceilings were amazing. Definitely a great deal and great value for your dtay jn Tokyo, can definitely recommend to anyone.

Location, room interior, facilities, space!

We had an amazing stay!! The hotel was newly opened so all the facilities were in pristine condition. Our room was a nice mix of modern and traditional with tatami flooring but modern hotel facilities. Extremely comfortable stay. We were welcomed with some treats and mini bar items were also included in our stay, which is a great bonus! We especially loved its public bath and sauna which had great amenities. Staff were welcoming, helpful and attentive. Hotel is located walking-distance to many sites and public transport, but still in a quiet neighbourhood. We absolutely enjoyed our stay - 10/10!

We stayed in a Deluxe Suite and it was absolutely beautiful – stylishly designed, perfectly equipped and incredibly comfortable. The whole hotel has a very elegant and modern atmosphere. The spa and wellness area are fantastic as well – great facilities and very relaxing. The staff were simply outstanding – super friendly, attentive and always ready to help. The location is a dream: so many amazing restaurants just around the corner, and most of Kyoto’s main spots are within easy walking distance. Everything was just perfect. A truly wonderful hotel – I’ll definitely come back and can highly recommend it!

This hotel is a hidden gem in a quiet area close to all the action, while a short walk away it has everything you need and is fully decked out. The ambience in the room and decoration is modern Kyoto style through and through, while the onsen or public bath are a great way to relax after a full day of exploring. Absolutely loved this stay and will definitely consider coming back again.

The hotel is new and the staff can use a bit more training, however the customer service was splendid any any issues we had were resolved successfully.

Quite possible the first person to ever sleep in the room due to the hotel just opening so that was nice! Lobby still dripped with the fresh scent of drying paint. Absolute gorgeous room, relaxed luxurious comfort. A rich and warm blend of east meeting west. Staff kind and caring, great location just outside the tourist soup. The Onsen and sauna were just an absolute chefs kiss at the end of each day. A wonderful stay I will forever richly remember.

If I am being picky there was no natural light.

The property is built with high quality of wooden materials all around. The best hotel we have ever stayed in Japan. Room is huge with half of tatami. Lots of spaces for opening the luggages. The beds and comforters are very comfortable. Superb!!!

Breakfast are delivered in box with cold food and you have to assemble yourself and with a string pulling technique to warm the food which is quite new and weird to us.

Everything was great. The hotel only opened recently. Staff were very helpful, the rooms were amazing and large. Location is great with many restaurants nearby and within 20 minutes walking distance to many of the highlights of Kyoto.

We were not aware that the restaurant and bar weren’t opened yet. Not that it was a big problem but were kind of looking forward to it when we arrived.

The hotel room was everything and more! Lovely space, traditional design, new and clean, large bedroom with seating area and separate bathroom. Our best hotel in Japan by far!
