Nice stay near Matsumoto JR station, 5-10 minutes walking distance. Keep up with standard as other Toyoko Inn chain: self check in and check out, clean room with inside toilet and shower room with bath tub, light japanese breakfast was a great plus. Coin laundry in common area on Ground floor was very helpful.

We travelled as family of 3, but somehow could only book 3 single rooms instead of 1 double + 1 single or 1 triple room, consequently total was relative higher compared to our stays in other hotel in other cities. It would be great if there would be more rooms options, not only single rooms or perhaps it was our bad luck that non single room were already booked by others, leaving only single rooms available.

The hotel is a very short walk from the Matsumoto Station and is right downtown and convenient to shopping and restaurants and walking distance to the castle. The room was clean, the staff helpful and friendly, the wi-fi work well, and the breakfast buffet had a good selection. I had a good stay there and would stay there again.

The room wasn't the biggest but that is standard for Japan. No complaints regarding this hotel.

We arrived at the hotel early afternoon (before check-in). we managed to arrange parking for our rented car (cost 1000 yen a day), and we tried to find a place to eat. (Do not make our mistake and eat in their mall.) Once we came back after 15:00 (the time of check-in), the procedure was quick (by machine) and we went to our room. The view was nice, and the bed was a bit rigid. The breakfast was very good

The mattress was a bit rigid for me (back problem), but my wife enjoyed it. Such a mattress was found in this firm in Hiroshima.

The location, cleanliness, and the room size comparing with the price we pay. This hotel seems to have larger size than many other Toyoko inns.

Breakfast should be better in terms of variety and quality.

It was clean, but I had better ones in Japan.

Free Breakfast was not good at all. I would mind paying for a good one. I think they should charge for a good Breakfast.

Lovely breakfast spread made with dedication by the staff, I liked how gard the staff were trying even during busy periods to accommodate all requests

Walking distance to train station, good breakfast, we stayed two nights, and they changed breakfast menu, very thoughtful.

Hotel does NOT store luggage after check out, even just few hours. Our train was afternoon, we have to store luggage in train station paid locker. This is the first Tokyo Inn I stayed in past few years in Japan that does not provide after check out luggage storage

Very close to the station. Friendly staff. Very clean. . The breakfast was a highlight.

We found the beds a little too firm for our Australian taste

The room and bath room are clean and both bigger than Tokyo or Osaka:) I could open all my luggages in the room. There are 4 washing machines and 4 dryers at 1F, just beside the restaurant place. People need to use their room card when they want to go to room floor, felt quiet safe. The hotel is located in front of Matsumoto highway bus station and really near Matsumoto train station. (5 mins by feet.) Only take 5-10 mins could arrive restaurant streets and PARCO. Matsumoto highway bus station could go to Shinjuku(Tokyo), Nagoya, Osaka...etc. There are many stores in the Matsumoto highway bus station building, within drug store (Matsumotokiyoshi) and coffee shop(1F), 100en shop(2F), bookoff(3F or 4F) and supermarket (B1F)…etc. By the way, only nanaco and cash could be used in B1F supermarket, no others IC cards (like suica, pasmo or icoca), no creit card or debit card.

Location is great, very close to the train station and walking distance from the main attractions. The room is very simple but everything is clean and comfortable. Staff were nice even though most of them didn’t know English.

Breakfast was packed and the food was very Japanese. There are only 2 elevators so you might wait for a while.
