Everything you would expect from a capsule hostel.

We had some bad luck with our room mates who were very loud and inconsiderate however this is not something the hotel could have foreseen. Also the male bathroom is transformed to female only between 3pm and 8pm so I hope you do not want to shower as a men between these hours.

We wanted to experience staying in a capsule hotel while in Japan. My partner and I each booked a capsule for the night, which are actually very spacious, even for my partner who is 6ft tall. The bathrooms are fully stocked with toiletries and hair-dryers, and towels and loungewear are also provided. Matsumoto isn't very big, but the hotel is close to the train and bus station, and a short walk to the main attractions.

Place was huge. Felt like a maze where the capsule dorms and cabins were. Nice amenities provided for guests. Coffee and an assortment of teas were free. Toiletries were provided as well as a lot of shower items. There was also a public onsen that guests could use free of charge which was an added bonus.

The cabins were smaller than I expected but everything else was fine.

Well located, helpful staff, chill manga reading/working area and specially the bike rental service.

There wasn't any place inside of the premises that I could speak on the phone, as soon as you're out of the elevator you must be quiet and If you need to call someone you have to exit the building.

Central to main transport. Close to many restaurants and walking distance to castle and museums

Shoes on shoes off every time we entered the premises. Just a bit annoying. Bed was very hard and pillows were flat.

The room.was very clean and the bed excellent. The big bonus was the hot bath. However on the night I was there they had an electricity outage and the lights came on at 2 am for about an hour.

Nice room, good price, close to Matsumoto station, great staff! We were able to leave our luggage when we left for a daytrip to Kamikochi. The staff was a great help. We were very happy with the hotel :)

Nice, kind English speaking staff, great value for money. We loved to enjoy our own breakfast and dinner in the lobby every day. We connected with some of the other guests as well. Very clean. Great location. Definitely recommended and will be back when we come to Matsumoto. Went here twice. There is still so much more to explore in the region.

It was very hot in the rooms and the lobby. Too hot for our taste.
