Good location. Tram stops are about 7-10 minutes away, if you have a suitcase, walking from the station takes about 20 min. Convenience store with ATM is around the corner and the Museum of History and Culture (highly recommend!) is 2 mins down the road. Everything was clean and there was a manual for all appliances. Washing machine is great, also the drying function in the shower.

I was on the ground floor and heard people arriving and leaving. The entrance code worked well for the room, but the one for getting inside the property only works every other time, I even called reception the first time I tried to get in and couldn't after three tries. Apparently, the enter button on the key pad needs to be pressed a certain way. The check in procedure with the 1 min video call is very impersonal, and you can't leave your luggage (i.e. no luggage storage option, which can be an issue if you travel with larger bags).

We loved the location. We loved how spacious the unit is. We are 6 adults and our small luggages fit comfortably in the room. What you see in the photos is what you get. Parking- There are 3 pay parking in front of the unit itself. In case there are no vacant spots, there are a lot of parking areas around. Area- It is close to a museum and Lawson is walking distance. It is a quiet neighborhood. Something to improve on- We had a hard time entering the first time. We entered the code as instructed but It took us a couple of tries before we were able to get in.

Very quiet neighbourhood and close to all the major sites. We walked everywhere. It was a bit difficult as we had had to pay the city room tax twice to be able to check in but we were refunded quite promptly after messaging via booking.com. We liked the modern feel of the apartment and it was well equipped. The washing machine was a big bonus and they even provided detergent. My top tip is not to pay the room tax until check-in to avoid having to get it refunded.

It was not clear how we paid for parking but in the end it works like any other coin operated parking area in the city and there is plenty of parking everywhere. We wanted to stay an extra night but the rates double on a Saturday night so we moved somewhere else.

The room was very spacious and everything was brand-new and tip top clean. Good, quiet location with access to some sights and the tram line. Would have been fantastic without the poor check-in experience.

The check-in was unfortunately a very poor experience. We never received an email with instructions on how to enter the unstaffed building and none of the codes and numbers sent to us by Booking.com had anything to do with the process. We had to call the (expensive for us foreigners) help line. The first customer service person did not understand English despite it being advertised. Thankfully, when we did get a customer service who knew English, the service was excellent.

We liked the location as it was hidden but not far from the main road with tram, restaurants etc. The room was as described and very clean and modern. The carpark was small and we had use of it sometimes but when it was full we had an option across the road which was also convenient. In Nagasaki there are hills but not too bad just something to keep in mind for elderly people staying in this area/city. Staying on the main roads would avoid this issue. We were fine walking and driving. Would have liked to stay longer than 2 nights to see and experience Nagasaki better!

Luckily my daughter can speak/read Japanese as the check in process I believe is in Japanese? If there is an English etc option it might need to be made clearer at the ipad check-in desk, as you need to follow through steps to check in including them scanning your pp details etc. If you have someone who speaks Japanese with you as a foreigner, you will be fine, if not may need to ask someone or try to video call the host as they are available via video too if need on the ipad. You should receive a door code to enter to reception ipad desk. Use the hash key after I think!

The beds and living area were comfortable. The kitchen space was a nice addition to the room. It was nice that the toilet was separate from the living spaces.

There was no view, as the windows were blurred. The only storage space was blocked by the refrigerator, so there was nowhere to place luggage. The kitchen and bathroom sinks had poor water pressure, but the shower was great!

the room was spacious,too much space even for 6 pax.the bed was comfort. the heater was good.the t.v channel also good. the bathroom was good and clean.the parking lot just in front of hotel. check-in was a bit complicated as all touch screen,you need to scan your passport.will take about 5min to complete. to ride tram also near not too far to walk. i would recommend this hotel.

After 12 days in Japan this by far was our favorite accommodation. The room itself is inviting and spacious. We enjoyed the in-unit laundry and after staying in hotels since our sat at Grand Base can tell you that this is a game changer! We also loved the neighborhood. Close to everything. Nagasaki was the best city we visited. We will be back!

Good location within 15 mins walk to Nagasaki JR station and big new shopping mall called Amu Plaza. There’s lot of eateries and also near 24 hrs Yoshinoya and convenience store. Room is spacious with separate toilet and bathroom. Mattress is comfy too.

Tram and bus stop is around that area too. The downside is check-in is a bit challenging and if you drive, there’s limited carpark lots at the apartment and is relatively expensive. There is towels change even if you stayed more than 2 days.

We were 5 adults and 2 kids, the place was quite comfortable for all of us. The place is clean, but there was no chance to have a towel changed if needed in our 4 night stay. The position was perfect for us. Everything was automated, no keys, self check in, so no chance to interact with staff.
