Big room, comfy beds, great quiet location. The common room is nice and full of manga.

There wasn’t much hot water one of the nights and the common room was a bit chilly. The room next to us was a dormitory room with a lot of beds and most of the times big families or group of teen friends would book it so it was a bit noisy. But generally people were respectful towards the late hours.

I like it that its almost near to every place that we planned to go. A short walk from station and nara park.

I really like the whole facility of this building. If I have the time to come back in Nara i will definitely stay here. But if there are travelers who has children with them, i suggest that the management will let them stay at the first floor. We had some discomfort sleeping because of the noise from the second floor, running around footsteps even as early as 5am.

Location is good, ten minutes easy walking to Nara park.

It’s unstaffed, no reception area. Noisy people arrive late, after 10.30 pm, and then talking and laughing loudly, as if nobody else was trying to sleep, then starting washing and dryers , and preparing and eating food till 11.45 pm. If there was a reception area or any staff in the hotel, this behaviour might nit have happened,

I booked a family room. The hotel is in a very good location, close to nara park and nara shopping street, the implementation provided is good and overall just very clean and comfortable. Car park is right next door with reasonable price. Highly recommend this hotel base Nara.

The only thing i confuse is that why cannot use the hair dryer in the shower room and i felt abit unconvinced for bring up and down the hair dryer.

Great stay for what you pay. They allowed us to store our luggage before check in and after check out. 5 minute walk to the main street where there are restaurants, shops, 7/11 etc. Easy 15/20 minute walk to Nara Park. Rooms are clean, bathrooms are clean. Large communal living area with comics, TV, laundry facilities and vending machine for drinks and snacks. Staff speak good English, and the guy who checked us in had actually been to the county we are from in the UK so that made us both laugh!

The walls were a little thin so you could hear people in the hallway coming and going but that didn't really matter much, just get earplugs!

I was lucky to have an entire room of 16 for myself so I think that made the experience more pleasant. The place looks new and is kept clean, and facilities are great. I did laundry for only 200 yen (100 for the detergent, 100 to wash). The common room area has plenty of space, games and a huge collection of comics. The staff were also very friendly and check in was smooth.

Its a bit hot in the room and in the corridors. But this didnt affect my sleep or stay at all.

It's like a motel, but the facility is great. If you are not looking for a luxury hotel service, the cell bed room is comfortable enough for a group of friends to have nice sleep. The washer and dryer also work nicely allowing wash and dry summer clothes in one night. Certainly an ideal selection for a short stay in Nara.

Very convenient location, you can easily walk to Nara Park and the main shopping areas. The design of the hotel was nice: the shared areas were tidy and clean, there are washing machines in the building and there was a huge collection of manga to read which was a nice bonus. The room was comfortable. Check in was quick and easy.

This is not really the hotel's fault but there was a noisy group of travelers when I stayed there. One of the guests had a really heavy, stomping walk which sounded like an elephant. I heard shrieks of やばい!! and えええ スゲーfrom like 10 - 11:30pm when I was trying to sleep as they loudly talked and repeatedly dumped out tiles for a board game. I recommend staying on the 3rd floor if you want to avoid potentially loud guests because there is no shared space on that level.

Great capsule hotel. Stayed 1 night during my visit to Nara and I really liked it! The common area is super spacious and comfy. The staff were very supportive, and made it possible for me to work also until late in the night.

It would have been great to also be able to use the common area during the night, it closes at 23h. But the staff were supportive and helped me find an alternative.

i was surprise how big the room I booked was. in my room you can control your own A/C lights and everything, the common area it’s big and has everything you need, vending machine, video games, a big tv, a lot of manga, etc.

i was in the 3th floor and the men’s wc and showers where in the 2nd floor so it’s pretty annoying use the elevator everything you wanna go to the bathroom.
