We had a fantastic stay at APA Hotel Osaka Temma. The hotel was in a fantastic location, a short walk away from both Temma station and Ogimachi station which made it very easy to get to wherever we needed to go. It is also conveniently located a short walk from seven eleven, family mart, Don Quijote and a drug store. Kema Sakuranomiya Park is right across the road which meant we didn’t have to travel far to see the most beautiful cherry blossoms right along the water. Only an hour by train to Kyoto made it easy to do day trips.

breakfast is good enough to fill you up but minus points for having too few choices of vegetable. complete bathroom amenities in the room, TV, wifi, fridge that stays powered 24 hours, kettle, hair dryer. comfortable bed. free luggage storage room. we enjoyed the summer Osaka festival which was held in the area then walk back to hotel.

1 small room saves electricity, but in this room we needed the doorway space to open 2 suitcases fully flat on the floor, plus a short bed if you're tall. 2. location, it's quite a long walk for tourists comparing to hotels in other locations in town, especially during summer heat from station to hotel many times a day.(JR Temma or Ogimachi station depends on your train pass). 3 check in time is 3pm sharp.

Standard APA hotel offerings. No frills but comfortable. The hot spring at this property does live up to its reputation! It gets quite crowded near closing time (1 am) but it is when it is the most lively. There is a small outdoor bath which is nice in autumn and an extremely cosy sauna that can fit 4 people pressed skin to skin. I like that we can leave out luggage at the hotel before check-in and after check-out for no charge. Also can borrow items such as nail clippers, hair curlers etc. from the hotel.

Not the nearest to the train station or convenience store, would recommend taking a cab there from a nearby train station if you are carrying large luggage. My room's toilet did not have a toilet bowl lid! I only found out that it was not a intentional design choice after seeing another room's toilet! Do feedback to the staff if you face the same issue so you can get a new room!

I loved how efficient the staff were and how helpful with silly tourist questions. The bed was beyond comfortable and all my needs were met. The location is perfect, just slightly out of the main city center made it less busy, more friendly and it felt like coming home after work each day. The hotel is only 6 minutes from the main train station which made travel very easy

I have been here before. Very nice location very easy to go places especially walking. You can walk to Umeda 28 minutes .

I was so surprised when I ask them to clean room they did but left everything on tv lights so it was very hot in there. Someone put something in the key slot to put tv on . Never had this last year. Then someone actually came in to change my trash can . I didn't even ask for.

The breakfast was probably one of the best things I ate in Japan. Every single food was cooked PERFECTLY, better than perfect. If I didn't have to get a flight straight away I would have gone for seconds. The outdoor onsen was very nice. There was only different kinds of milk in the vending machine but only inside the onsen area which was kind of strange. There is very good food in the general area and it is near the museum of living and housing.

It was a bit annoying to get around, not too close to many of the sites although it was next to the train station at least.

Located just 5 minutes away from JR Temma Station (which was a deciding factor for me since I was using a JR West Pass), it's just a 10-15 minute trip tops to Osaka Station and to wherever you decide to visit from there. Room was spectacularly clean albeit a little small given it's price, with just enough space to move around your luggage if you can get those out of the way. Strong hot and cold water pressure with amenities and towels replaced every day. However, the biggest thing I loved about my stay was the public onsen located on the second floor! Imagine taking a dip in a hot bath every night after having walked for hours the entire day. It would not be an exaggeration to say I would probably consider booking this place again just for the access to the onsen! Gives you a glimpse as well into public bathing culture in Japan because it was used daily by other patrons of the establishment.

Maybe the size of the room for the price. Though I've had smaller stays in Europe which were nowhere near this immaculately clean and comfortable so maybe that's just what to expect at this price range. And AirBnbs for some reason were pricier too! Also, definitely an odd choice to have an Indian restaurant serving breakfast given it's a Japanese hotel. But since I love Indian food, I'm not going to complain. They do serve a decent continental breakfast buffet in the same restaurant so there's that if you don't like Indian cuisine.

I come here it's comfortable and the Japanese bath I love .The staff is amazing . The room has everything. The location is perfect here. Close to everything. I feel like home here. My 3rd time here. So reasonable if book months in advance it's better.

Surprisingly comfy stay, staff were all welcoming and polite. Decent noise isolation from the train (some rooms face the tracks). I loved the blackout shutter, complete darkness at night!

There was some dust in various parts of the room (clothes hangers, corners, etc.).

I like that there is an onsen/hot spring in the hotel. Our family had a fun experience! There were a lot of guest supplies as well. There is a 7/11 near the place and it is a 7 minute walk to the JR Temma station. We booked a night before our desired stay because of Typhoon and everything was ready and perfect! Definitely worth every penny!

I hope the bar/restaurant was opened from morning to evening so we can have snacks/dinner inside the hotel especially since there are not much food options near the hotel.
