The hotel's location is perfect, situated in a quiet area yet within walking distance to popular attractions like Namba and Dotonbori. The nearby train stations also made it incredibly easy to explore the rest of the city. The rooms were modern, clean, and well-equipped with all the amenities you could need, including a comfortable futons, free Wi-Fi, and a spacious bathroom. I especially appreciated the attention to detail in the decor, which gave the space an atmosphere of a traditional Japanese household. Another highlight was how quiet and peaceful the hotel was, making it a great place to relax after a day of sightseeing. Free washing machines and dryers came in hand as well when we needed to clean our clothes bit earlier than expected due to very hot weather. Overall, **Hotel Amaterrace** is a hidden gem in Osaka. With its ideal location, and comfortable accommodations. We felt saddened when leaving. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city!

The kitchenett was very small, no room for placing washed dishes and one od the power sockets was teared out of the wall, which we sadly couldn't use.

Everything was great: comfy and spacious enough rooms/washrooms, kitchen and mini fridge available, fast response time from staff over booking.com messaging (which was impressive since it is a self-serve/check-in hotel), wifi, free laundry, awesome location not too far from Dotonbori/Kuromon/Sinsekai.

Only thing I would suggest improving is having at least two key cards easily available per room (in addition to the emergency card) OR if the card is in the mandatory electrical power slot then the doors do not automatically lock and should require manual locking. This betters quality of life for guests if the room has multiple people who aren't restricted to leaving/returning at the same time. And prevents being accidentally locked out when not carrying the key card. Other than that if you understand this caveat when booking then the rating likely is closer to a 9/10. The contact staff was very helpful and kind with resolving my being locked out thankfully.

Great room with traditional Japanese styling. Comes with everything I needed to enjoy breakfast or cook some of my own. Washroom had plenty of room and a good mirror. Futons were comfortable. Can control the lights temperature to suit any time of day. Even a night light mode. The price for value here is really good. Vending machine in lobby and free laundry!!

I asked extra bin bags in the morning and it was supplied immediately, thanks. The entrance was beautiful and easy access to the room key. Take away pizza shop nearby was really good value. Washing machine and tumble dryer to use for free.

Bath water was running slow to fill up the bathtub and the water temperature was not hot even with hottest setting. Maybe ok in summer. Room size was just ok for 5 adults. No plate, cutlery. Just cups and glasses. Only 1 room key was bit inconvenient for 5 people. Location is a bit far from stations, 10 munites walk from Namba , Shitennnoji and Ebisucho.

We only stayed for one night while we were in Osaka, but the location was great and the self check-in was super easy. I accidentally left my kindle behind in the room but they were more than happy to arrange staff to be there for when I could pick it up.

The room was smaller than we expected, but it had all the amenities needed.

Being on the ground floor by the entrance there were noises late night and in the morning with guests chatting loudly in the area, other than that everything was great

The area was great! It was close to shops, cafes, restaurants, and even a go kart place. The hotel was very nice along with the room that was a great mix of modern and the classic Japanese styling.

At first I found the entry system confusing but that’s just me! It’s very practical

Considerably a good size room for 3 pax, quiet area, some places of interest is achievable by walking. Staffs are fast with communication even though they are not physically there. Will stay there again.

Have to clear own garbage but we don’t mind 😅

Hotel was new and rooms are bigger than Japan standard. Kitchen is complete too. Would recommend!

Location was a bit far from Dohtonbori. But still recommended!
