Additional, complimentary services in the lounge were an unexpected surprise; these weren't clear on booking.com but you can see the detail on the hotel website. The room was very spacious and well maintained.

The access information was inaccurate; it was a further walk from the station exits than anticipated and Osaka station is very complicated! There is an underpass that goes to the Ritz-Carlton which is very very close to the hotel entrance which is useful for when the weather isn't great.

Exceeded our expectations! Fully enjoyed our 6 nights stay! The twin room we had was surprising big for 3 pax, and we could easily open 2 medium luggages at the same time! Amenities provided were high quality (kose products, coffee drip bags, etc.) and the free treats in the lounge were a nice addition. The freshly dripped coffee every morning was a great motivation to start our sightseeing early, which helped us beat the tourist crowds. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel remains peaceful even during busy period. Location was convenient - Right round the corner from the airport shuttle pick up (no need to drag luggages through the train stations or wait in queue at the main Umeda hankyu stop when going back to KIX). Umeda's underground maze can be overwhelming, but it was easy to follow the signs to the blue metro line which will get you to the start of osaka garden city and the hotel (exit 47) is a few minutes from there. Choice of convenience stores for snacks across the street. Overall we were throughly impressed with the value provided, and will choose to stay at Intergate hotels for our future Japan trips.

The automated light in the room can be annoying but it was sorted with the sliding door. No towels provided at the onsen. Good to have a sign/note to remind guests to take the towels from their room (saw a few had to call for towels).

Stayed at the Hotel for 7 nights. Good base for daytrips to Kyoto, Uji. Nara. The hotel provides complimentary food and drinks during Happy Hours (5pm to 7pm) and Supper (8pm to 10pm). This is good for folks who are tired by evening and do not feel like going out for dinner, to chill and unwind. Well located and within walking distance to Osaka Station, major shopping malls/department stores and Umeda Sky Building. Plenty of food options too. From Kansai Airport, an easy way to reach the hotel is by Airport Limousine and to alight at Herbis Osaka. Not all Airport Limousines are scheduled to go to Herbis Osaka. Check the time-table. To reach the Hotel from underground network, exit from 6 (47) in the direction of Osaka Garden City

Location is good, about 10 minutes from Osaka station (note that all Shinkansen leave from Shin-Osaka station, which is not the same). Very clean and spacious room for one. Umbrella and power adaptor were available for free use, and the lounge area at reception had tea and coffee available for most of the day. Air conditioner worked really well for the summer weather.

The shower is in the bathtub, so you need to be able to step up into the bath to use it. Only nearby stores were convenience stores, not much in the way of nearby restaurants.

The room was spacious and comfortable. I enjoyed the breakfast several times, which offered a decent hot selection, though with limited continental options. Overal, nothing to complain about. The happy hour was a nice bonus and greatly appreciated. Checkout was seamless, and the luggage transfer to my next destination was handled swiftly, taking only a few moments.

Washing machines in the laundry facilities are great, but do take a very long time to dry your clothes.

Nice lobby area to sit. Free wine at happy hour. Free coffee. Very clean and well maintained property and rooms.

They serve supper and light food and drinks for guests during our stay. Bed is the most comfortable I had compared to the 4 other hotels i tried

Finding the hotel!! After 2 hours lost in the labyrinth of Osaka station we were finally escorted to our hotel by a lovey information centre lady! Here is how to get there: Take the Sakurabashi exit from the station, cross the road, turn left and walk to the next crossing. Cross and Turn right and walk to the next crossing. Cross and turn left, follow this path around the corner (veers to the right) and look up…the hotel will hopefully be in front of you🤞

The room was very tidy and comfortable. It is small for western standards but all we needed was a bed for the night. They give you pyjamas, toothbrush, razor, shaving creme. Very luxurious. Breakfast was great.

Happy hour and rice buffet and free coffee & juices all day

Once when my son was having lunch in the room, the cleaning lady came to clean the room. He went down to the lounge to finish is food but was told no outside food (no meal was being served in the lounge at that time). He went to the big table outside the lounge but was stopped by a staff not to eat there. We asked where can he eat since he’s room is being cleaned. The hotel staff pointed to the street outside the hotel. I find it hard to accept that there is nowhere in the hotel he is welcomed to sit a finish his bento box. It’s rude to ask a guest to leave the hotel with his food when his room is being cleaned.
