The place feels like your “own” apartment in Osaka. We felt like we were locals for a week. It was really great and gave a lot to our experience. Walking distance from the Umeda and Fukushima stations. A MaxValu and a Family Mart is nearby. The beds are big and comfortable, the kitchen is well equipped and the bathroom too. There is equipment in the room to clean if needed. Enough storage space for all our clothes and a washing machine (amazing). Would book again.

The floor could have been cleaned better but we took out the vacuum cleaner that was in the room and fixed the problem quickly. You can’t bring down the trash (it needs a key - or I couldn’t figure it out) so you will have your leftovers and trash “stew” there during your stay. The bins seal so it’s not a problem but good to know. There is no staff at the place at all and we had luck with checking in on the iPad (for about 10 mins we couldn’t figure out what the instructions meant - review of the translation would be necessary. However once it was solved it was all good.

Minn Umeda North is a great location - best train station is Fukushima and it is about a 6 min walk (400m). You can walk to the Umeda Sky Building from here also. The rooms were spacious by Japanese standard, and very clean and tidy. There is a 7-Eleven across the road, and I highly recommend Pause Coffee which is next door! We had a fabulous dinner at Nishumeda Lamp Ramen which was around the corner.

Like other reviews I had read, we had issues with our check-in process. We arrived at 11pm and as we had 2 rooms booked, checked in easily to one room but the 2nd door access code did not work. After speaking with a team member via a video call, we ended up having to locate a lock box and use a physical key for that room for the entire stay. It was a little frustrating however we got there in the end! Also, we had requested rooms on the same floor, and this wasnt accommodated when we arrived.

Location, close to Osaka Umeda station- 10 mins walk, lots of little restaurants around, just check the side streets. Coffee from Pause is excellent. Open in the morning turn right after exiting the building, blink and you'll miss it.

It was a little challenging getting into the building without staff but once you get in the ipad for communication works weel. Kind of like an Air b n b with tech support. Just make sure you keep on top of emails to get your entrance codes for entering the property.

It had everything we needed and close to Osaka, Fukushima and Umeda stations.

We arrived a few hours earlier and staff wouldn’t help store bags for a few hours. It was just me and two young kids. We had big luggages. They did not offer alternative when I mentioned it was my first time I Osaka and I had two young kids and was I expected to just sit outside and wait with them for a few hours because we couldn’t go far with our heavy luggage. The guy just shrugged at me.

Location was great very close to Osaka station, bigger than other rooms we stayed at. Great to have a big desk and full length mirror.

Free washing machine was great but we couldn't figure out how to work the dryer so had very wet clothes. Room layout was weird. Door lock was an absolute pain got locked out too many times.

The apartment-style set-up with its kitchen, Japanese-style bath, and laundry was excellent. The reception was quick and easy to use. Not having a key card and instead using a passcode made coming and going easy.

The quality of the beds can be improved. There is also not much space to store suitcases with easy access, e.g. under the bed like in other hotels. The position of the table was inconvenient and took up space; changing the position or style will make the room feel bigger with better accessibility.

Everything worked. It was small but comfortable.

As all instructions were in Japanese with limited English translation, it was difficult to know how everything worked e.g the washing machine and the stove top. There were 2 beds on wooden bases on the floor. This gave us no floor space at all and we only needed one double bed. The floor layout was badly planned. We could not check in on the computer downstairs. It didn’t work when the image was scanned so had to call and do it manually. Many cultures are not as well versed in digitalised procedures as Japan is so it can cause problems.

Location - about 5-10 minutes very easy walk to the newly refurbished Osaka Station west gate. Lots of restaurants and convenience stores nearby. clean and tidy. Despite other reviewers having problems with the self check-in and check-out we had no issues at all.

A bit cramped. The washer/dryer was very small and didn't wash or dry very well. Instead I highly recommend using AQUA launderette about 5 mins walk away.

Spacious room, suitable for 2-3 people although the extra bed isn't necessary for 2 persons. Plenty of amenities for you to keep your clothes clean and the room clean and cook if you you're there for a while. The room layout is quite smart giving plenty of storage space. The location is about a 12 minute walk to Osaka Station with a few major roads to cross and maybe an easier 10 minutes to Fukushima station. Right by Osaka station is much of the business area with plenty of shops and more food near there. There's also plenty of vending machines, convenience stores and restaurants nearby the hotel itself. There's a nice cafe caused Pause Coffee right below and makes for a nice simple breakfast/ tea time meal. Unless being right next a train station is a must, then I would recommend this hotel for most.

Although the area was peaceful, soundproofing of windows could be a little better as it is by a busy road and occasionally there were loud trucks and some construction going on. Some cold air also gets in although this is not a big deal. Also there are no facilities for early check in or bag storage.

Close to both Osaka(Umeda) station and Fukushima station. Went to Kobe and Nara from here with ease. The space was large and easy to move about in. Big fridge and good desk space. Beds were very comfy! And there was a Seven Eleven just down the street. Check-in and check-out was easy

Not much we didn't like. There was limited clothes drying space... and the automatic light in the entry was a bit annoying in the middle of the night haha
