Extremely clean and comfortable. A lot of space within the room and very modern.

Location is a little out from where it’s most popular but you can easily get to and from using the metro services.

An excellent location, close to the Osaka loop line for travel to the south and the massive underground city of Shin Umeda for travel every else. Helpful staff, quirky and lively facilities, well appointed rooms.

Limited breakfast but only a minor complaint.

Location was close to Osaka station (10 minute walk) and Fukushima station (7 minute walk). When we checked in, we were added to the loyalty program for Marriott, and the lovely lady checking us in gave us free drink cards to thank us, which we used that afternoon. The room was modern, clean and well sized. The breakfast had a great range of options. Whenever we entered or exited the hotel, we were greeted by staff, which was a lovely touch. Absolutely loved our stay and hope to visit again in the future.

Although my husband thoroughly enjoyed the buffet breakfast, I am a coeliac (allergic to gluten & wheat) and options were limited for me. This was very common across Japan, and is more of a note for future guests who also have allergies to consider.

Actually we returned to this hotel at the end of our Japan trip - so yes we liked it -Good location - 10 min to closest train station and ~15 to the main Osaka station. Standard Room is compact but fine for short stay and well equipped. Good facilities including a bar that runs till late. Good breakfast and hotel restaurant serving burgers for lunch / dinner, several restaurants close by as well. Staff helped us to sort out delivery of item forgotten at previous hotel which was a big bonus for our daughter … many thanks

Overall fine, only minor point - there was a bit confusion on luggage storage - I asked hotel if we can keep luggage before check in - received no answer :-( after checkin we have kept luggage for a day - were charged (only relatively small amount) some other groups we knew had more luggage and were not charged …, overall staff was helpful though

The hotel has an excellent vibe as the front desk is in the bar/café. Staff is very friendly and polite. Breakfast is a buffet type and has a good variety. The hotel also has luggage delivery to the next hotel. I contacted before booking with some questions via booking chat and they replied fast and very helpful. The room was very good: clean and overall comfortable. Small but manageable. I use a wheelchair to move around and the "universal" room and the shower is easy to access and with a considerable space for the wheelchair. They provide a very good quality shower chair

The hotel is not close to the train stations (it is located between two that can be tiring in a very hot/cold day). The washbasin in the universal room is not accessible since you cannot roll under. There is a coin laundry but the number of machines are limited and very busy (we used in our stay but it was challenging to find availability).

The funkier vibe was a refreshing change from the run-of-the-mill business hotel. From a space point of view everything was worked out to a very smart efficiency. There were plenty of hooks in the room to hang clothes on. And the colorful (fake) dial up phone was just great!

Sadly there was not enough space to open up one small suitcase, let alone two. The breakfast menu seemed to focus too much on a sweet bread selection rather than healthy breads. Would have preferred salmon to a greasy sausage... and drinking coffee out of paper cups wasn't tasty nor inducing a sense of comfort.

This is a modern open style hotel that is set up in the main reception area to attract younger travellers - big bold colours, games everywhere, big teddy bears! It didn't feel quite the place for us as 'mid-sixties' travellers. That said, the room was large and comfortable enough and the bathroom was very good with a separate stand in shower. There is no storage in the room, just a number of pegs along the wall to allow you to hang your clothes on should you wish. Absolutely fine, but I wouldn't want to stay here for more than just a few days. They also need to provide a few more clothes hangers. A big bonus is the 'pay as you go' laundry room - access to washers and dryers was a great help. There is also a small gym should you want it. The breakfast buffet was extensive with both hot and cold food and the staff brilliant when I wanted my eggs done in a slightly different way. This was typical of the staff, who throughout were helpful and accommodating.

There is nothing wrong with this hotel, it's just we didn't feel we were quite the right demographic. It obviously sets out to attract younger travellers.

Moxy has quickly become my favorite hotel chain. Fun, modern vibe in the layout and presentation of the bar and restaurant are very welcoming. The room was an good size with a comfortable bed and the bathroom was what I have come to expect from Moxy hotels. Staff is always friendly and helpful. The complimentary welcome drink is a nice bonus and breakfast is worth the money if you have a hearty appetite in the morning.

The location is a bit removed from the main tourist attractions in Osaka such as Dotonbori district, Tsutentaku Tower, Abeno Harukas skyscraper, and others. However, access to Osaka Metro and JR Line stations make it well worth staying at the Moxy. No USB-C ports for charging devices, only one (1) USB-A port. Breakfast is pricier than eating outside the hotel, but it is convenient and cheaper than an equivalent meal would cost in the US.

We absolutely loved our 4 nights here! Although the room is on the smaller side I loved the decor and vibe of the room and hotel in general. Room was clean and bathroom was small but again clean. Very big tv in prime position, and we could use netflix on there. Breakfast buffet was amazing as a vegan, lots of options which I’m so grateful for. Staff were so friendly and helped us when needed. Having a washing machine and drier on the property was very helpful. Small fridge for drinks in the room too. Hotel was about a 12 minute walk from Osaka station and 7 minute walk from Fukushima station.

Only thing I can think of is the room is on the smaller side and the rug on the floor was extremely dirty so I just rolled it up and put it under the bed while we were there.

This Moxy Hotel, like all Moxy hotels, was very nice. While the location may not be the most convenient, it’s still within reasonable proximity to the metro. The room itself was clean, of decent size, and tastefully decorated.
