Great location - 10 min walk to Osaka station, in walk to Fukushima station (better uncrowded access to KIX airport). Cosy, spacious, noise isolating pods - you can’t hear people snoring, which is the top quality in hostels. Clean and available showers (no queues), spacious common room. I could even have my Zoom calls in one separated by a screen. Close vicinity to restaurants but on calm street, 7eleven right opposite. Nice staff.

Mattresses could be newer, price could be cheaper on weekends.

OGK is in an ok location (within walking distance from Osaka Station but a bit of a ride to Namba and other areas). There is a nice lounge area.

The most important part of a hostel is the mattress and this one was flat, concave even—a slid into the middle and could feel the boards on my back. This prevented good sleep. The curtains had trouble closing so light would enter. The smell of cigarette smoke lingered in the room and some of the other guests felt a bit off. While this may be a good value compared to some other hostels in Osaka, the cost in yen and time of taking the metro to Namba or anywhere else subtracts from these savings.

Well located near the train station, the hostel looks well maintained in general. The staff was welcoming and provided detailed and clear information at check-in. Very nice and clean common area, and cheap laundry facilities available. I like to have the rooms away from the common area, which tends to keep it quieter. The vibe was good, and the common area was great to meet other travelers. Originally tried to book 2 nights, but unfortunately it wasn't available for the dates I wanted. Otherwise, I would have stayed longer at this hostel.

Overpriced (double than usual) due to a last-minute booking (2 days in advance), which appears unfair to me. Prices should remain the same no matter if one room or 15 rooms are available. The grocery store won't double the price of their bread because you take the last one on the shelf... Also, the quiet hours should be reinforced, as I had ppl in my room starting to pack (noisily) late at night and early in the morning without any consideration for roomates, but lack of respect from other travelers is not the hostel fault. Otherwise, everything else was good, and if I'm in Osaka again, I would consider returning to this hostel.

I liked the communal area. It was very spacious and clean.They have a kitchen where you can cook. The size of the bed was great. It won't harm if they could turn the thermostat a knob or 2 cooler. The location was ok too, a few distance from the train station.

There was only 1 bathroom and 1 toilet available in the sleeping area. Though, more on the communal area, it is such a hassle to go down the floor. There was limited restaurant in the area. There's a convenient store across the street but there's a barrier on the street so you need to walk around.

Not much room for bags but I found it ok still 😊 stairs/elevator to get the bathroom but I didn't mind, as I'm healthy and fit. Still unsure if washing machine automatically adds detergent or not, despite the sign and staff saying it does but can't explain how.

Good information and attention all the time. The proximity to the subway/train station helped me a lot because the cell phone operator did not fulfill the 10 days I purchased and I ended up going to some places only with the help of the employees and on the subway too... The living space is spacious and has all the facilities... If I go back to Osaka I will definitely stay there!!

Unfortunately, some people are rude and leave their bags in the hallway, making noise after the time established by the hostel. I would like to leave reviews about them because they have the same attitude in other hotels and are never reviewed.

I ended up in Osaka with a friend for a few days, and then went solo for 4 days after hence my stay here! And I LOVED IT: -super super super nearby to Osaka station, like a 5 minute walk max so it’s so convenient if you wanna explore literally anywhere by train -so much food and shopping and activities around, me personally I was holiday shopping for my family every day so it was perfect. -great amenities! Including a wash cloth which I don’t see very often -good mirror lighting for those that care hahaha! Good for taking pictures and makeup. -staff are so friendly and wonderful! They held onto my lost cardigan, as well as keeping my luggage safe when I arrived early day 1 -comfy beds! -fun common area with different activities that is open 24hrs a day, with a special Japanese tatami area. I met some cool people there! -they have a WhatsApp group for social activities! Overall honestly 10/10!

Not much to say here, probably something nobody can change but the mixed dorms are very very big so there’s like 35 beds so it’s a bit of capsule hotel vibes (it’s harder to meet people this way from my experience in a way, but the common area is good enough). -also showers are on the common area floor which is the 3rd floor so it can be inconvenient to go up and down when you forget things.

The accommodation was really great. It has a fantastic location in the heart of Osaka’s city center. The staff were very friendly, and we even had a takoyaki party, which was perfect! However, some guests were a bit annoying as they took phone calls in the bedrooms, which was a little disturbing. Other than that, the place had a friendly atmosphere, was clean, and had a great location. The only downside was that the internet in the rooms was really bad.

I had a wonderful time at this centrally located property! It’s really well-maintained, and the friendly staff made me feel right at home, always ready to help with whatever I needed. The common area is such a cozy spot where you can cook, eat, watch TV, or just hang out with others. I stayed in the female room, and my bed was super comfy, plus it had a curtain for extra privacy! The bathrooms and showers were kept really clean, which I really appreciated. Overall, it was a great experience!

The hostel is not brand new and you can see it Bunk beds are not the most practical and comfy, i would not recommend to stay there for a long period Bathroom is a bit unpractical
