This is a very pleasant and frill less hotel. The location is very convenient. Very easy to reach from Kansai Airport using train via Tennoji as well. The staff were all friendly and it's very clean. The toilet and shower area are separate so it's very convenient. The room I booked though not very big, was sufficient for a comfortable stay for 2 persons. It's also very near to Namba Yasaka Shrine. Walk left from the entrance of the hotel and it's a short walk. I made a mistake by going the other way and ended up being lost. There's also a supermarket in the same direction just a short walk near the hotel. There's ice and vending machine and even microwave for use in the common area. The breakfast is value for money too. I would highly recommend this hotel and would stay here again

It is a standard bigger hotel close to a metro station, we spent 2 nights there. We had 2 rooms, we asked to have these rooms side by side and we got them - it was really nice. Everything corresponded to the hotel profile, given hotel style and hotel quality. Simpler but clean rooms. They had helpful staff at the reception. From the hotel it is about 15 minutes by metro to centre and the most of city attractions (about 30 minutek by foot). The breakfast was very rich and tasty, with big selection.

In the both mornings, the breakfast restaurant was full and we had to wait about 10 minutes for a table. In our room, there was few storage space & shelves, no hooks... We had to pay for a luggage storage during checkout day (a policy of this hotel). The charge fee is not small and they charge not only suitcases but also small backpacks. I have to say that this is really annoying and does not make a good picture and advertising for the hotel.

The hotel itself is situated very close to Daikokucho Station, providing you direct rail access to Tennoji, Namba n especially Shin-Osaka if you need to take the Shinkansen. The hotel is also one of the convenient ones that you could stay at as it's within 10-15mins walk to Zepp Namba if there is a concert held there. Apart from that, there are alot of convenience stores near it, including a Lawson just beside the hotel. Room-wise for solo travellers is more than enough. Haven't tried the the other rooms yet but would recommend the place due to the convenience and great service from the staff.

Good value hotel. The room's compact but nicely designed, so there's enough room for the two of us. It should be enough as long as you don't bring a lot of luggages. I like that there was only a shower in the bathroom, no bathtub, so there's quite a lot of space in front of the sink to do my makeup or even store extra luggages. I like that the toilet is also separated from the shower. Also really appreciate the staffs, they were helpful and speak good english. The breakfast could be a good deal if you like fish. The best part of the hotel is the location! Directly by the subway station and next to facilities and konbini+restaurants. Will return.

My friend and I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Hotel Sobial Namba Daikokucho in Osaka! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. There are also convenience stores and plenty of restaurants nearby, so grabbing a quick bite or essentials was never a problem. Overall, Hotel Sobial Namba Daikokucho provided an outstanding experience—great service, excellent amenities, and an unbeatable location. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Osaka. The staff at Hotel Sobial Namba Daichokucho were all very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options. The location was extremely convenient, with a train station just a short walk away. The public bath was clean and comfortable, adding to the overall enjoyable experience. I also appreciated that they offer daily room cleaning, which some other hotels don't provide. The complimentary coffee and snacks in the lobby were a nice touch, making us feel welcome and relaxed.

Hotel Sobial Namba Daikokucho stands right next to exit 6 of Daikokucho metro station with a convenient store next door. This location is convenient for travellers hauling luggage and/or planning day trips. The breakfast buffet includes a wide range of both Japanese and Western options, all of which delicious. If you can gobble up a large breakfast, you will most likely skip lunch, trust me. The bed is firm and comfortable, and the room is clean. The onsen has an indoor and an outdoor bath, and just like the breakfast buffet, meets the standards of a four star hotel. Primarily designed to cater for families with young children, this hotel provides guests with great value for their money.

As usual in Japan, the room was a bit tight, albeit with a separate toilet room. I'm sure that other options with a larger floor area are also available, though. The free toiletries could be better (avoid the razor and body wash), but then again, they are free, so guests really have no reason to complain. Communication with front desk staff may be difficult for foreign travellers due to the language barrier. Nevertheless, this hotel is still a great choice, especially for the location, breakfast buffet and onsen. As such, Hotel Sobial Namba Daikokucho deserves a 9.6/10.

The location was not central, but very good with just 50 meters to one of the exits of the Daikokucho station and just one stop to Namba/Dotonbori. The room was probably a meter or two bigger than the other ones I stayed in in similar hotels in Japan, meaning you can open your suitcase on the floor. :) The staff was professional and nice. The onsen was decent, with a little outside space and a bigger one inside. The breakfast was very good!

It seems that most of the rooms in this hotel have blurred windows facing the walls of other buildings. No views and little natural light. The coffee machine in the lobby is available late a night, but not during the lunchtime, which is somehow weird. Why not have it on at all times?

Good modern hotel, friendly/professional staff, clean and new rooms and excellent location (few steps from two main subway lines, and in walking distance from Namba and Shinsekai, amongst others). Beforehand I read a lot of negative reviews about the lighting system in the rooms (working on sensors only and very sensitive), however it worked perfectly for me; near the door and bathroom the lights were automatic, but the main lighting in the room had a remote control, to put it on or off, and even in different shades even. Furthermore the breakfast was amazing!

The location is good, very close to metro station Daikokucho which is just before one of the most busy stations Namba, so you can always board the train. Also close to one of the famous temples and shopping street. The room was on the smaller side but still ok. The breakfast had a nice selection of food. We could leave the luggage at the receptiom before check in which was very nice.

Sensor movement activated lights in the room are a real downside of the room. Very problematic during the night if you want to go to the bathroom and not wake up the other person in the room.
