Basic ibis accommodation. Friendly staff, extremely good location in Umeda district with underground connection to metro and train stations. Tons and tons food options nearby, including plethora of restaurants in the subterranean Whity mall where you can get to right from the hotel basement passage. Rooms is according to description. It's basic and small, but most of ordinary hotels in Japan have small rooms. So it's not a minus but a reality. Breakfast in the adjacent restaurant is OK. Basic but convenient. Staff there is also friendly. Shower is nice. Good water pressure and temperature easy to regulate. We stayed for more than a week and it served the purpose of recuperating after long walks.
Like most of hotels in the world - too few hooks or rails to even put all towels. I will never understand why hotels don't just add more hooks around. Even if there is no space for shelves or wardrobe - hooks would be an easy solution for small spaces.

Location is accessible - it is near train station, restaurants and convenient stores. There is a water dispenser at the ground floor. They facilitated and received our luggages transferred from Tokyo.
Room size is not as spacious as compared to where we stayed in Tokyo.

A nice hotel within walking distance of Osaka JR station and Umeda metro station. The hotel is located right next to an access to the underground Whity Est mall and has a an elevator that connects the hotel lobby to the underground next to it. Nice bathroom with good shower. The breakfast was nice and varied.
As usual rooms are small with little to no space to navigate around the bed. The hotel also seem to lack a laundry facility. Unlike other breakfast options, the Japanese breakfast was lacking a bit with average quality rice, no rice seasoning and the curry was not great.

Excellent location near E-Street with many eateries behind the hotel as well. Irish themed Pub a few doors toward Station. Underground walkway from Hotel (Exit 7-72) to Hankyu, Hanshin and JR Local and Shinkansen stations as well as subway lines. The Twin Rooms were a little larger than a typical Japanese hotel room. This was our second stay at this hotel. Both visits were most enjoyable. Didn't order breakfast this time as there are many choices nearby. Loved the walk-in shower (in liue of a shower over the bath). Highly recommend this hotel. A tip for the many travellers that have discovered Japan, please respect local customs; don't eat, drink or smoke while walking the crowded sidewalls and shopping laneways and speak in a subdued voice. Also, if you are running low on cash (and Japan is still, predominantly, a cash based society) you will have no problems with the ATM'S at a 7-11 or the local Post Office. Bank ATM'S can be choosy about foreign Bank issued Debit Cards. Enjoy Sakura Time. Arigato.

LOCATION - we loved everything about this hotel, its was in the middle of everything, shops, eating, and trains, take the lift down the ground floor to the whity and its massive selection of eating and coffee places its like 2 mins in the underground to the metro system to Osaka metro and umeda-osaka you can get trains from both places, short ride to universal studios or Dotonbori If you don't go underground there is just as much in the streets for entertainment and eating The Ibis was comfortable and clean, i would stay here in again no issues
The breakfast was not what we thought was over good for the price, i would not get the breakfast and just head down the lift and go to any numerous cafes or starbuks or the pancakes place under the hotel or the other pancake place across the other side of the intersection

The location is good. There is an elevator right by the front door that takes you down under the street. Go down there. It’s so cool. Lots of shops and restaurants. And you can walk to the trains. The rooms were really clean and reviews said the rooms are really small, but clearly those people haven’t stayed in many hotels in Japan. Yes, the rooms are smaller, but for Japan, the room wasn’t bad. We could walk around and still have our suitcases on the ground. We only did breakfast once, but it was pretty good.

A great location. We were able to walk and explore the area with ease. It was in close proximity to the train station, which meant that it was easy to travel to the different places that we were visiting like Universal Studios. The room had everything that we needed for our stay. The hotel was able to hold on to our bags as we arrived early morning and check-in wasn't until 3. This meant we could head out and make the most of our time in Osaka. I happened to leave something behind that was precious to me and they were able to locate it and then take the time and effort to get it back to me when I was already back home. I will be forever thankful for that!!

Location is right in the heart of the entertainment and shopping precinct, so expect bright lights and plenty of activity throughout the afternoon and night. Osaka has a fabulous vibe, a little more low key and relaxed than Tokyo, and the accommodation is a great spot for a multitude of food and shopping options, and only a short walk from the train station and bus routes. Staff were very friendly and spoke English well.
Room space is tight as you would expect. We chose a king, which ended up being two king singles joined together, probably would have been better to request a queen and have a bit more floor space. Still if you're only staying a night or two, then it's just fine as you'll likely be out and about most of the time.

Rooms were clean, a bit small but fine with us. Nice washroom/shower. Has a convenient underground connection to the train station/underground shopping centers which is very nice to avoid the cold and waiting at crosswalks. Location is excellent. Close to the train station, konbinis, and many restaurants. Staff were all friendly and the basic amenities provided were good.
Would be nice to have access to laundry machines. Laundry services are offered, but it's a bit expensive.
