The hotel was positioned strategically around the area with nightlife, so it was easy to grab good food when I got hungry at night. Nevertheless, convenience stores were found just at the ground floor. The station was only about 4 to 5 blocks away, so it was easy to navigate around Sapporo. Meeting places for tours were close by, so it was quite a lifesaver. The staff tried their best to recommend food and onsens to us when we asked them about it, so that we could fully enjoy our stay.

Nothing in particular, but if I had to mention any, maybe that it was a very limited availability of a restaurant down on the second floor that you would wonder why they even had it. Maybe we should have gotten the meal stub, but you'd wonder if we were lucky we didn't get one.

Very comfortable bed. Only 5 minutes walk to famous Nikka Sign and Susukino Station. The hotel is just next to a FamilyMart with ATM machine that supports ATM card. Love the hotel vibe and it has themes that somewhat matches the cities. Accommodation wise it's very good and the hotel gave a me a good impression of Sapporo.

From my Malaysian mindset experience from Malaysian hotels, what could be improved is maybe English brochure on places to go in Sapporo and up-to-date public transport guide in the lobby would be very2 useful and would convince some travelers to stay longer.

The rooms were modern, clean and well arranged. I especially liked the scheduled day for housekeeping so we could be eco friendly.

It’s not the establishment’s fault, however groups of Chinese guests were extremely noisy so should be on their own floor to allow other guests to rest. It sounded like people were fighting or painfully loud that I had to stay away, and was offered to move after I asked for help. In the future it should be offered up front to keep tour groups separate from other travelers. When in Japan it’s good to learn to conduct oneself as locals do, perhaps having signs posted clearly would spare staff from having to ask loud people to keep quiet, so that others can enjoy their stays also.

the staff were exceptionally kind and went above and beyond to help me even in the face of language barriers. (i actually forgot one of my bags when i checked out and the desk lady chased me down the street to make sure i got it) the room itself is very comfortable and pretty spacious for the standards of a japanese hotel. the only minor gripe i can think of is that the internet was somewhat spotty and cut out quite often and the advertised netflix button (featured in the preroll that plays everytime you turn on the tv) was non-functioning during the time of my stay, thankfully japan is not an easy place to become bored and this hotel was easily within walking distance from all of central sapporo's major attractions as well as the toyohira river. also because it is not clearly advertised on their website i would like to include that this hotel works directly with yamato transport/kuroneko for luggage delivery to & from the hotel and were willing to accept my obnoxiously large bags several days before i arrived for which i am very grateful.

internet connection could be improved. for longer stays or those looking to work remotely from the hotel it could be an issue.

Location is in the heart of the shopping and food. Plenty of options but yet a stone throw away from the main thoroughfare. Hotel is relatively new and has the hipster vibe.

The laundry room on the 2nd floor smells foul because of the drainage system, thus the doors needs to be open regularly to air. The dryers does not work properly. It needs servicing as clothes is still moist after an hour of tumbling. There are build up of flint within and it's just a waste of time for travelers who needs to launder their clothes.

Western style accommodations on-brand: clean, comfortable and familiar. The front desk agent named Yu, was very helpful with local information, spoke perfect english and was a welcoming face during my extended stay. Great customer service all around. I will definitely be back.

The hotel is located in the heart of the red light district, but thankfully close enough to the JR line to explore other parts of the city. I still felt safe when walking around at night.

The staff was very nice and spoke English so very easy to communicate and ask questions. The room was a little on the small side but doable for two people. If you have large luggage could be a problem. Bed was a little hard for our taste but this is Japan! We really liked the shower with no tub. Air conditioning worked well which is so important to us. Located very close to subway and street trolley cars. Near a great mall with some great food choices. Many places to walk to. Kind of in the red light district but in a respectful way which did not bother us.

In the middle of Susukino, Sapporos entertainment district, you are going to have pretty much a chain hotel experience like any APA Hotel. I liked that - beds are comfortable, TV works great, shower is extremely big. Yet it's very comfortable and nicely priced so I'd definitely book again. Hotel staff was extremely nice, competent and always helped. We made a 5 day Hokkaido tour and were able to leave our big luggage at the hotel for a small fee.

Rooms are kind of small but there is space under the bed to store big luggage. Fridges are also very small but for a short stay it's absolutely fine!

Rooms are very clean and tidy. Staff were awesome and facilities were pretty good all round for a 3-star hotel. Susukino train station & food court is 6 mins walk - really convenient location. Great gluten free (desert) crepe place around the corner - Susukino Creperiz (opens 4pm). Family Mart right next door.

Only thing that wasn't great - the breakfast was pretty meh (fridge-cold scrambled eggs?), and didn't change the 4 days we were there. Its ok for something quick to fill your belly before snowboarding.

The hotel is at an excellent location, just a few minutes away from the busiest night streets of Susukino, where you also find numerous public transport stops for your daytrips. Yet the room was very quiet and very cozy. The room is pretty big, with nice view and spacious bathroom. There's a convenience story right by the hotel. You also get to choose from a lot of free amenities right next to the elevator. It felt like the hotel was brand new. The value is very good.
