I really loved both the exterior and interior of the hotel. Everything felt clean and fresh (as expected of a newly-renovated property). The rooms were quiet (properly sound-proofed) which I loved. Staff was helpful and polite. Food was okay, but I prefered to eat out on most days in search for more interesting options. As someone who likes the local revue I of course had a very personal interest in staying at this hotel, but I think even someone who isn't a fan would love a stay at this hotel, especially if you are someone like me who doesn't enjoy staying in big cities. Takarazuka is a comparatively quiet city but still within pretty easy reach to all major cities and sightseeing locations (Osaka, Kyoto, Kobe). Both Hankyu and JR stations are within a 5-10 min walk from the hotel.

Rooms were maybe a tad on the small side, especially for someone staying for a longer time with lots of luggage. I also found it a bit hard to maintain a comfortable temperature in my room (the air would get a bit stuffy with the aircon on, but turning it off would make the temperature drop too low for my tastes). These were in no way huge problems though.

I visited Takarazuka to attend a couple of shows and ended up booking a stay as a matter of convenience; the hotel is beautiful, fantastic location (wonderful Hana no Michi view) and excellent local connections. The room was perfect and immaculately clean, good working wifi connection and a very comfy bed. The breakfast was also lovely, I'd wholeheartedly recommend booking it as well.

No remarks at all, everything was excellent.

Lovely old world charm, elegant, quiet, beautiful. The tub even in the standard twin room was a luxury by normal standards in Japan. The TV was also quite large and is capable of casting for both Androids and iPhones. Overall, guests can enjoy the feeling of being ensconced in genteel comfort. I would actually be happy to stay there again.

I noticed a very tiny tear on the wallpaper in my room but I think most people would not notice it. While the breakfast provided good quality produce and dishes, the range was a little limited (but this is not a big problem). I also thought the chefs could have done a better job of keeping the fish from drying out too much.

Very elegant hotel in keeping with the whole Takarazuka Revue experience. Booked a standard double looking over the Hana no Michi at the back. Could watch the hordes of people going to the theatre. Very inexpensive considering the luxurious standard. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Nice Italian Restaurant across the way. Will definitely stay here again.

Breakfast was well prepared and the staff was great. Room was appointed nicely and bathroom fixtures were of top quality.

Room was a bit too small, but I understand the situation. I wish the cafe on the lobby level was open all the time for coffee, tea, and light snacks. I wish there were more seating in the lobby.

Lovely place with helpful staff, a very short hop away from the Takarazuka Revue theatre. It is along the beautiful Hana no Michi which has nice cafes and shops during the day, as well as a well kept roadside garden/walkway to stroll along.

a little empty/ devoid of open shops past 6pm, so I'd advise you get most of your shopping and activities done early.

Conveniently located to trains, cafes. It is a delightful hotel. Entrance very stylish but welcoming. Rooms have large windows. So very light and airy. You can open the windows as well. So don’t have to necessarily sleep with air conditioning. Quiet. Would definitely like to return. And would highly recommend.

This was our fourth stay at the Takarzuka Hotel. We keep coming back because the rooms are very comfortable, quiet and clean. The hotel itself is quite nice and the service is exceptional.

There was nothing we didn’t like. We wished we could have requested one large bed instead of the twin beds.

The hotel is absolutely stunning! We had a room with a view on the river, which was amazing even on a rainy day! We enjoyed the high ceilings and beautiful atmosphere. It really made you feel like royalty. If you're not a fan of the Takarazuka Revue when entering the hotel, you will be when you leave. It's simply amazing. Also, the hotel restaurants are amazing. We had high tea at the Renaissance Lounge and a kaiseki dinner at Iroha. For breakfast, we had an amazing breakfast at l'Ensemble. All these awesome restaurants are in the hotel, so we didn't have to to anywhere in the torrential rain. It was also our 5th anniversary, and the staff was absolutely lovely to us. I will definitely stay again!

I liked everything. It was so awesome.

Lots of free amenities such as decaf coffee and teas. Good view from the room, Laura Ashley bath soap, shampoo and hand soaps, the big screen Tv in my room with a nice kettle. And of course the lobby. And the elaborate breakfast buffet.
