Spacious room and toilet
Our first room had a strong smell of cigarettes in the toilet. Front staff offered to change rooms for us but our luggage got lost in transmission and after returning from our dinner out, we still did not receive them in our new room. When the front desk was contacted by phone, they insisted our luggage was already delivered to our new room despite that we were in there and insisted there was no luggage. After some time, whilst I was on my way to see the front desk to physically address my problem, I bumped into the bell hop who had located our luggage in the old room. Clearly, the staff coordination and communication isn’t the best here.

Everything at this hotel was exceptional. The breakfast was delicious as well as the lunch menu. Our room was wonderful and they had set up an additional cot for our son. Our view was phenomenal!
The location was on the quieter side of things. It's close to the park but for restaurants or shopping it was a cab or bus to get too.

A beautiful hotel that lives up to its luxury status. From check in to check out the staff were superb and so kind. The facilities were great, the pool and gym were areas we used daily and appreciated since not many hotels in Tokyo have both. The room was great with a walk in closet and big bathroom. The beds were comfortable. The views of Tokyo were breathtaking!
There aren’t any downsides but if I had to say one it would be that the hotel is in a quiet area so we often took a taxi or the train when we went out. You can get to Otemachi station without going outside so that was a plus!

What's there not to like at this property!? First of all, we arrived at the hotel around 9am and of course the room wasn't available for check-in. The hotel suggested we could use their spa to clean up and get changed (it was an overnight flight). Once inside the spa, you could see the magnificent view of Tokyo (men's bathroom). I dipped myself in the hot baht and I was the only one there. The amenities kits were superb and of high standard you expect from a Four Seasons property. The room is huge in comparison to regular Tokyo hotels. We had his/her sinks with baht tub. A separated toilet and bath rooms. The room is superbly cleaned. The bed is very comfortable with each side 2 pillows to choose from. They even provided pajamas so comfortable that I didn't even think of using the ones I brought from home. They changed it everyday. Sadly, I should have bought the PJ set back which are available for sale at the spa area. One of the things that stood out the most is the level of service all the staffs demonstrated. During our stay, all the staffs remembered our names (which is typically hard to say anyway) and that intrigued me very much. If you're looking for a set of afternoon tea, look no further at the hotel tearoom. We were bombarded with all the tea choices and sets of treats that kept coming. We had to skip lunch right after the tea set. All the cutleries were nicely selected to compliment the theme of that season. Ours was the sakura season, therefore pretty much everything were pinkish. By the way, the curtains open itself automatically once you enter the room. That's extremely cool!
Nothing to be said negatively about this property.

My stay at the Four Seasons Hotel Tokyo at Otemachi was truly one of the best experiences I’ve had during my travels. The hotel was spotless, with a fresh, inviting scent everywhere, and the staff were exceptional—always ready to offer assistance, comfort, and support. The breakfast was served on the 39th floor, which felt almost like being in the sky, with stunning views of Mount Fuji on the horizon and the nearby Imperial Palace complex. There was a small mix-up during check-in when the front desk lady accidentally “refunded” me instead of charging my credit card to confirm the stay. Naturally, this caused a bit of confusion, but the manager handled it with professionalism and grace, taking care of everything right away. Throughout the entire stay, Afonso, a very professional and friendly Portuguese staff member, made sure we felt welcome during both check-ins. Even when a small mistake happened, they made sure everything went smoothly, making us feel like we were still in heaven.
Everything went smoothly!!

the location is very convenient, room and restaurant views are exceptional; also, you can tell lots of efforts are put into details around the hotel. Most importantly, all the staffs are very energetic and friendly unlike other upscale hotels. I would especially like to thank Ms. Wu for helping me track and found a lost bag on Japan Rail; as a foreigner, it’s a total nightmare to deal with Japanese bureaucracy

The staff were amazing There was an issue with the customs on our arrival in Japan Our pick up was booked and waiting but unfortunately the problem took along time to resolve The GM from the four seasons contacted the customs to ask why we had been treated in this way also waivers the charge for our pick up Ghe concierge especially Kevin helped us with organising tours and restaurants wonderful service We regularly stay at the four seasons all over the world This is by far one of the best Four seasons hotels The staff are so polite from concierge to room service and housekeeping everything was perfect And then there is the view OMG!!!! Not forgetting the underground network right under the building so no need to step out in heat or the rain Convenience on another level
Later service in the main lounge for food and drinks especially as young children not allowed in the bar

Although the Imperial palace garden view is a little obstructed by another building, we managed to see Mt. Fuji right from our beds due to clear skies during the whole of our stay.
The carpark belongs to Otemachi building and it is a big hassle when we needed to charge the daily ticket to our room at the hotel lobby counter every day before we retrieve our car. Hotel guests can only use mechanical parking. Also, we had to provide a credit card for the hotel to charge deposit that is way more than the amount we need to pay for our stay. After paying the actual amount upon check out, the deposit does not get cancelled immediately and there is a risk of double charging. This is the only hotel that does this in all my trips to Japan these years. I've overheard that many fellow tourists faced issue with charging deposits to their cards whenever I was at the counter. Definitely a turn off.

Without a doubt one of the very best hotels and hotel experiences I have ever had. The location and view are amazing, the pool is fantastic and the staff simply cannot do enough for you. The rooms are excellent as is everythng about this hotel. Absolutely worth the splurge. Simply the best way to spend your time in Tokyo and make it a truly memorable visit. Bonus points for taking your partner to the very excellent Est restaurant for a great dining experience.
The bar, Virtu, is rated one of the 50 best in the world. While it does have a great view and a great atmosphere I did not really find anything that amazing in the rather short cocktail list, although they will mix up anything you ask them to. That said, they do have a very extensive selection of Whisky and Sake, if that is your thing.
