When we arrived after a long journey we were promptly checked in with such ease and friendliness, from the start to the end of the stay we truly felt welcomed and cared for by the reception staff. Our room was spotless and well equipped with everything we could have wanted and more. Truly one of the most comfortable rooms I've ever stayed in, ours had wonderful views of Tokyo Station below, seeing the Shinkansen come and go was a treat. Being literally next door to the station was so convenient, a major asset for this hotel. For breakfast we always went to the in house French restaurant where we were well looked after and it was managed superbly with very courteous staff and management. I also want to commend/shoutout Mr Taguchi who was the chef in the in-house steak restaurant for delivering us a truly memorable dining experience, it's something my brother & I will remember with deep fondness. Overall I was beyond impressed by this hotel, they helped make our 3rd time in Japan very special. Should we return to Tokyo in the near future I will be looking to stay at this property again without hesitation.

I recently stayed at the Marunouchi Hotel in Tokyo, and it was a wonderful experience. Located in the vibrant Marunouchi district, the hotel offers a perfect combination of convenience, comfort, and elegant Japanese design. The hotel’s central position is ideal for exploring Tokyo. It’s within walking distance of Tokyo Station, making travel around the city and beyond very easy. The surrounding area is filled with shops, offices, and attractions, making it a great base. The rooms are spacious, stylishly decorated, and immaculately maintained creating a welcoming atmosphere. The bed was extremely comfortable, only fault like most beds in Japan is the bed is up against a wall so getting in and out of bed makes it hard. The staff at the front desk and concierge were very friendly, attentive, and eager to assist with any requests. They even went above and beyond to help us when our luggage was lost with Singapore Airlines, which was a huge help and relief, it made our stay much smoother once we had the bag returned in a day. Marunouchi Hotel provides great service and comfort, making it a superb choice for travelers seeking a luxurious stay in Tokyo’s prime location. I highly recommend it.

The location is excellent, next to the train station. The hotel looks and feels upscale.
The price is very high for the room and services we get.

Everything from staff, friendliness, attentiveness, willingness to flex a little on check in time (unlike some other Japanese hotels). This was the first where I experience a bit of international service standard - not that Japanese standard is bad by any means. But it proofs adapting to international norms for international guests i.e. checking bit early is a refreshing experience. I was in a Double or King Room with view directly above the Tokyo station, great for train enthusiast. Noise insulation was excellent, even for a picky person like myself. Renovated bathroom, with classic styling was a big plus. Big sized shower AND bath! for Japanese and international standard! Cleanliness and location are superb. I will without a doubt stay here again and bring the kids! Please keep your prices the same!
Pillows, pillows, pillows =[ The pillows were hard, period. They were bean pillows or duck feather (i'm allergic and it was hard). I had to spend 35 Aussie dollars to get a pillow for few nights stay from a shop, they had no other pillow options despite it states that on the menu on TV. I had trouble sleeping until I bought my own softer pillow and pillow case. This bothered me a lot, as I felt tired without a good night sleep. Bed were a little on the hard side So therefore this is the only major downside. For those who likes a normal western pillow i.e. not hard - get ready to buy a pillow from Ikea or Muji.

The location was excellent. The staff was great. I booked a king room but my husband passed unexpectedly in December. I decided to continue the trip with my sister and 2 friends. I requested a twin room and there was nothing available, 2 days later a room came available but we were settled and didn't wand to pack up and move. They did try to accommodate but a little too late.
The bed was very firm and the pillows were big and heavy. They did provide a smaller pillow and it was acceptable but still too firm. The exercise facility was small. We did not eat at the location, the price was much higher than the restaurant in the station on B1.

An excellent 4-star hotel that punches above its status, Marunouchi Hotel newly finished renovation shines. The room interiors are well fitted and allows you to store things, do work, and stay in comfortably. The new contemporary wood finishings are a marvel to touch, a tribute to its ability to stay relevant after 100 years of hospitality service. The breakfast choices of western or Japanese at its restaurants are a boon. And it is just a step away from all the shopping outlets at Tokyo Station. Rain or snow is no problem with its connected underpass.
Could do more to cut down on single use plastic in amenities as it tries to be eco-friendly and conscious.

Everything! This hotel was phenomenal from the moment you walked into the richly scent- infused lobby, to the very courteous and professional staff, gorgeous views of tokyo station from the elevator, to the beautifully appointed room with the amazing bathroom and incredibly comfortable bed, clean robe and pajamas for us every day. The attached mall, restaurants, and underground entrance to Tokyo station were such a bonus. After spending a week here, we didn't want to leave! I ran the marathon, and this hotel was steps from the finish line, as well as conveniently located near the running path around the lovely Imperial Palace grounds.
There was absolutely nothing i didn't like!

Have stayed here before. We visit Japan multiple times each year as we are travel bloggers and have a Youtube channel exclusively about Japan. The staff is very attentive here, and the location is the #1 item for us. Sato-san who is deputy manager for guest services recognized us as we walked in this last time. His English is excellent. We prefer staying around Tokyo Station rather than the other major stations in the city. Its more reserved and less flashy/trendy. Basically its a more upscale area, and this hotel is the same. Luxurious common areas and the rooms are very well designed and bedding is great. The in room amenities are abundant and very nice touches. Other than the hotel within the station itself, you can't beat this proximity. Literally steps away from the north Marunouchi exit and the elevator from the reception area stops at street level (to the station gates) as well as one level below in the underground shopping area with a Krispy Kreme Donut shop on one side, a 100 yen store on the other and City Bakery across the corridor. Now that's a plus!
The one downside is that there is no coin laundry. When visiting Japan, we are in country for long periods of time, so the ability to do our own laundry is important. The only other thing on this latest visit is that we stayed in a Comfort Corner King room, yet there was only one drawer for placing our clothing, whereas in other rooms that are slightly smaller, they actually have more drawer space. This is a minor thing however, as the closet space is ample and there was plenty of space to place our roll on bags out of the way.

The room is just renovated and looks very new and stylish with wood decoration. I like the charging area with type c, usb-a and socket on both sides of bed. You can get all the utilities in the room and they even provide bath salt. The corridor in the room is barely enough for opening two big luggages. The bath tub and showering area is separated, with quite new equipped bath tub. The water power is good. The toilet has chair for ladies to make up which is good. It takes around 7-8 mins walking fr the middle of the station and takes around 7-8 mins walk to the bus terminal to airport.
The blanket is a bit thick. There is no bath cap provided. The view is fair, cannot see the whole beautiful train station, can only see the railways. You can hear the train sound but which is small and won’t affect sleeping.

Excellent location as it was connected to the Tokyo Station and also, being the in the classy/business area of Chiyoda where I can go for long runs around the Imperial Palace is a big plus point! This is our 6th or 7th time staying here and we have stayed in nearly all the versions/size type of rooms. For those with family/kids, the larger rooms are excellent and even the regular twin bedrooms are spacious enough. The bathrooms come with showers and bath tubs and are very spacious, modern and very clean.
nothing! we love everything about this hotel!
